Lindsay Lohan's Troubling Interview With Anderson Trends
In December 2003, Anthony acted as a guest host on The Sharon Osbourne Show. During the episode, Lindsay stopped by to promote the release of Freaky Friday landing on DVD and VHS, for fans' viewing pleasure.
For those of you who aren't old enough to know what those are, before streaming revolutionized the way we watched movies and television, the only way to watch feature films or series at home was to use a disc (DVD) or tape (VHS).
While Anthony's intention might've been playful, the constant sexual innuendos and suggestive language were a little hard to watch, especially since he was 33 at the time, and Lindsay was only 17. And it began as soon as she walked onto the stage.
When she came out, he initially greeted her with a polite kiss on the cheek, but as they sat down, he followed up the moment by saying, "You're sick and you just kissed me on the lips with tongue?" To which Lindsay immediately replies, "I didn't kiss you on the lips!"
He later told her, "My children and I loved you in The Parent Trap." Lindsay, who was grateful for the compliment, thanked him for being a fan of her work.
But the sweet moment turned awkward when he placed his hand on her knee and added, "You've grown up a whole lot since then." Lindsay was visibly shocked by the comment, but laughed it off with the audience.
Later in the conversation, Lindsay revealed she and fellow child-star Raven-Symoné just "got a place together." Anthony asked if they had issues with decorating, but Lindsay confirmed they hadn't because they had completely different styles, adding that Lindsay's room was completely pink, while Raven's room had darker colors.
Probably already prepped on Lindsay's love for the color pink, Anthony gifted her pink pillow with his face on it that read, "To Lindsay, Love Anthony."
"This is going to go right on my bed, and when I see you, I will say hi, cuz I'll see your face every night," Lindsay joked after they both exchanged stories of celebrities ignoring them after they tried to say hi to them.
But, as you probably guess, things turned weird again when Anthony responded, "Now aside from entertaining me in your room and in your house, what gentleman will be at the new pad with you and Raven-Symoné?"
"No one," Lindsay said. "I don't have a boyfriend." Anthony then announced to the audience, "Hmm...she's single and looking!" But Lindsay quickly reacted by pointing out, "But I'm illegal for people that are old."
"Well, some men like 'em young, we ain't going to name no names, but, you know. I'm one of 'em."
"You have a family man!" said Lindsay, who appeared to look at the audience for backup. She shook her head as she turned back around to look at Anthony, who was still cracking up at his own joke.
After the odd exchange, and only a minute left of the interview, Anthony finally asked a work-related question. Lindsay shared she had two movies coming out and those would end up being big hits as well — none other than Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls.
He ultimately promoted the Freaky Friday DVD, revealing that everyone in the audience would be receiving one. Despite her getting excited about mentions of the release, by the end, she seemed a little relieved to be done with the interview.
And as much as I wish I could say it ended there, it didn't! As the camera zoomed out, Anthony yelled, "Right now, we're about to get our freak on," as he pulled Lindsay in for an awkward hug.
The clip has since gone viral online. It most likely made its way to 2025 due to the upcoming release of the Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday.
Outside of the obvious, backlash for the clip arose due to Anthony's checkered past, which includes several sexual assault allegations. The first one emerged in 2004 when Anthony and Hustle & Flow assistant director Wayne Witherpoon were accused of raping a 25-year-old extra on the set of the film. A woman claimed to have heard screaming, followed by a naked woman running from a trailer. She was later treated at St Francis Hospital. The Daily Beast reported that Anthony was charged with aggravated rape, but released on a $20K bond. He denies the allegations.
But after watching the 2003 clip, it didn't take long for people to share their opinions, and sentiments across social media platforms came to the same conclusion: the interaction was "uncomfortable" and "creepy":

Lindsay Lohan Says She Still Has "PTSD to the Extreme" From Her Early Fame
"They were terrifying moments I had in my life."The Gist Lindsay Lohan has opened up about the harrowing realities of being a teen star in the early aughts. "They were terrifying moments I had in my life—I have PTSD to the extreme from those things," she recalled. Lohan went on to explain how her early experiences of fame have led her to carve out a more private life for her Lohan was one of the biggest stars of her generation. After hit after hit at the turn of the millennium—The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls—she was the one to watch. But the intrusive nature of celebrity culture of the early 2000s took its toll on the young star. In a new interview, Lohan is opening up about just how harrowing the experience really was. 'You want to achieve acclaim, though maybe not all the aspects that come with it," she told The Times in an interview published on August 2, speaking about the nature of fame. "You're not asking to be followed and have people be intrusive toward you.' Unfortunately, for young stars particularly at that time, that's often what fame entailed—and it was certainly the experience Lohan had. 'I don't ever want my family to experience being chased by the paparazzi the way I was. They were terrifying moments I had in my life—I have PTSD to the extreme from those things," she went on. "The most invasive situations. Really scary. And I pray stuff like that never comes back. It's not safe. It's not fair.' Being hounded by the paparazzi left Lohan feeling a little disillusioned about the entertainment industry. She found herself craving some time to herself. 'I wanted to take a minute,' she said, explaining that she stepped back from her career to "figure out how to have a more private life, a real life." Although celebrity culture may have improved slightly since the early aughts, fame still presents its dangers. "Now, somebody will have a phone up all the time,' she said. 'That's scary. That feels very uncomfortable. I'd rather someone just ask if they can take a photo or else you get cautious of every move you make.' That "uncomfortable" feeling is one of the reasons why Lohan and her family prefer to live in Dubai where they can feel some sense of privacy. She and husband Bader Shammas also chose to keep their son Luai's face private on social media. 'It's something my husband and I discuss all the time," she said. "Do we want to show our son? We will know when the time might be right, but it's also a protection." Last year, Lohan told Bustle that she felt that the negative press attention she received in her early years "overshadowed" her actual work. 'I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that's kind of annoying. I wish that part didn't happen,' she said. 'I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that's why I wanted to disappear. I was like, 'Unless there's no story here, they're not going to focus on just my work.'' In some ways, her current Freakier Friday press tour has been a sartorial expression of how she is reclaiming her identity in this new phase of her career. Many of her looks have celebrated that work that she once felt was "overshadowed." She embraced Y2K prom dress style. She recreated an iconic look from the original Freaky Friday. She even paid homage to both twins from The Parent Trap. Read the original article on InStyle Solve the daily Crossword

Parent Trap star open to a reboot — under one condition
The Parent Trap star Lisa Ann Walter is fully on board for a reboot of the hit 1998 film — as long as the writer stays the same. 'One hundred percent if Nancy Meyers wrote it,' Walter said at a recent Abbott Elementary event. Meyers co-wrote The Parent Trap, which also marked her feature film directorial debut. She, of course, went on to write some of the biggest rom-coms in history, including Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, and It's Complicated. The Parent Trap not only launched her career as a director but also established her signature cozy, aspirational aesthetic Speaking further to her idea of a reboot, Walter, who played housekeeper Chessy in the hit 1998 film, said she would want fellow stars Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid involved, too. 'Dennis [Quaid] has said that he doesn't think it's doable without Natasha, and I understand that,' Walter said of British actor Richardson, who died in 2009 at age 45 after a ski accident. 'The movie — it's a kids' story, but it's a love story. So to have a love story that involves that grief, that sadness — if it was written beautifully, maybe it's doable.' The film, which was a remake of the 1961 original, catapulted Lohan to fame as she portrayed twins Hallie and Annie James, who were separated by their parents shortly after birth. The twins, who were living across the pond from one another, connect on a whim at a summer camp their respective parents sent them to. Quaid starred as the twins' father, Nick Parker, while Richardson played their mother, Elizabeth James. Elaine Hendrix played Quaid's new love interest, Meredith Blake, and remains close with Walter, who told People the two 'talk literally every day.' Walter also keeps in touch with her other castmates, including Lohan. 'Lindsay will DM me on Instagram,' Walter shared. 'I text her father here and there — like, 'Lindsay wanted me to tell you so and so,'' she continued. During the pandemic, Walter even found herself delivering homemade meals to Quaid's house, not unlike Chessy would do for Nick Parker in the film. 'I was cooking for everybody I knew,' she told People. 'I made big pans of food and had them delivered to his house because he had his kids over there.' Walter has since gone on to star in the films Bruce Almighty and Shall We Dance? and has been a cast member on the acclaimed series Abbott Elementary since 2021. Solve the daily Crossword

Elaine Hendrix remembers Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson's love for one another amid Pamela Anderson rumors
Elaine Hendrix is reflecting on Liam Neeson's loving marriage to the late Natasha Richardson amid rumors he's dating his Naked Gun co-star Pamela Anderson. The 54-year-old actor recalled working with Richardson on their hit 1998 film, The Parent Trap — which starred Lindsay Lohan — during an interview Thursday with the New York Post. According to Hendrix, Richardson's refrigerator in her trailer on set was covered with pictures of Neeson, whom the Maid in Manhattan star married in 1994. Anytime someone mentioned Richardson's family, 'she would swoon with love,' according to Hendrix. 'They were madly in love, and she was crazy about her kids,' the actor added about the former couple. Richardson and Neeson were married for 15 years and welcomed two children: Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28. In 2009, Richardson died from an epidural hematoma after a skiing accident. Hendrix told the Post that Richardson's devotion to family made her death 'all the more tragic.' She added that Richardson's love for her children made her role in The Parent Trap — where she played twins Hallie and Annie's mother, designer Elizabeth James — more special. 'I'm so glad that her being was captured in this movie,' Hendrix, who played the evil girlfriend of Annie and Hallie's father, Nick Parker (portrayed by Dennis Quaid), explained. 'It's such a fitting memory of her, such a fitting tribute to her.' Hendrix emphasized how 'warm and sweet' Richardson was. 'It's no wonder she was cast as Elizabeth. I mean, really smart move, Nancy [Meyers] and Charles [Shyer],' she said, referring to the writer of the film, Meyers, and the producer, Shyer. Hendrix's comments about Richardson and Neeson come as the Taken star is rumored to be dating Pamela Anderson. A source told People Tuesday that the actors, who are starring in the new filmThe Naked Gun, have 'a budding romance in the early stages.' The source also claimed that 'it's clear they're smitten with each other.' Before the dating speculation started, the pair posed together at the London premiere of The Naked Gun on July 22. While on the red carpet, Anderson sweetly kissed Neeson's cheek as the Schindler's List actor wrapped his arm around her back. Days later, they attended the New York premiere of their film together with Neeson's sons, and Anderson's sons, Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, whom she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee. While neither actor has publicly confirmed the romance, Anderson previously gushed about the friendship she has with Neeson. 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam,' she said during an interview for her Entertainment Weekly cover story, published earlier in July, 'We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He's a good guy.' However, months before the red carpet kiss, Neeson declared his love for Anderson. 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her,' the Oscar-winning actor told People in October 2024. 'She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. She's funny and so easy to work with.' Anderson has been married six times; twice to the same man. She was married to Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998 and Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007. She was married to Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008, before remarrying him in 2014. However, they split again the next year. From 2020 to 2022, The Last Showgirl star was married to Dan Hayhurst.
