Pusha T Takes Aim at Travis Scott on Clipse's New ‘So Be It' Single: ‘He's a Whore'

After giving media members an early listen to Let God Sort Em Out at Roc Nation HQ in NYC, Clipse returned to heat up the summer with the album's second single on Tuesday (June 17) as the Pharrell-produced 'So Be It' arrived.
Pusha T and Malice trade fiery bars over Skateboard P's chiseled production, but a ton of eyeballs went to Pusha's scathing final verse, which finds him sniping at Travis Scott.

'You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/ Calabasas took your b—h and your pride in front of me/ Heard Utopia had moved right up the street/ And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat,' Push raps in what appears to be a reference to Scott's split from beauty mogul and reality star Kylie Jenner.
Billboard has reached out to Scott for comment.
Some speculated that the verse was about his former G.O.O.D. Music running mate, Ye (formerly Kanye West), but King Push confirmed to GQ that he had smoke for La Flame.
Pusha T explained that his issues with Scott were tied to the Cactus Jack rapper pulling up to Louis Vuitton HQ to play his 2023 Utopia album for Pharrell while Clipse was also working on their upcoming album.
'He's like, 'Oh, man, everybody's here,' he's smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f–king monkey dance. We weren't into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it],' he recalled. 'And then a week later you hear 'Meltdown,' which he didn't play. He played the song, but not [Drake's verse].'
Drake takes several shots at Pharrell on the track and says he's going to melt P's classic jewelry. 'Melt down the chains that I bought from your boss, give a f—k about all of that heritage s—t,' he raps.
Having that verse on Utopia after playing the track for Pharrell didn't sit right with Pusha T, as he feels Scott aligns with whoever when it's convenient for him, but doesn't stand by his loyalty to anyone.
'He's done this a lot. He has no picks. He'll do this with anybody. He did it with 'Sicko Mode'… He was on the [Rolling Loud] stage like, 'Play that, play that,'' Push said in reference to 'Like That,' which sparked the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody. He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.'
Pusha T continued: 'So, that's where my issue comes in — like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play. To me, that really was just like … He's a whore. He's a whore.'
Look for Let God Sort Em Out to drop on July 11. Watch the 'So Be It' video below.

Tyler, The Creator Tops Kendrick Lamar And Drake With His New Album

Tyler, the Creator thrilled his massive, devoted fanbase by releasing a brand new album, Don't Tap the Glass, just months after Chromakopia, his most recent project which became a global sensation in the fall of 2024. The full-length arrived with very little warning and landed in the middle of a tracking week, but that didn't stop it from becoming one of the biggest releases in the world. Don't Tap the Glass opens at No. 1 on several albums charts in the United Kingdom this week. The rapper dominates one genre-specific tally with tunes from the set, pushing his career total considerably higher thanks to his exciting new full-length. Tyler, the Creator's Seven New Hits Tyler claims seven spots on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this frame. The tally ranks the 40 bestselling tracks in hip-hop, R&B, and rap, and currently, many of them come from Don't Tap the Glass. All seven of Tyler's current smashes debut this week, with only a few songs from the 10-track album failing to make the cut. 'Big Poe' with Pharrell and Sk8brd Opens Inside the Top 10 Among Tyler's seven new hits, 'Big Poe' with Pharrell and Sk8brd (who is, confusingly, also Pharell) is the highest debut. That collaboration is the only top 10 from the collection, as it launches at No. 9. Two other tracks, 'Sucka Free' and 'Ring Ring Ring,' open inside the top 20, landing at Nos. 15 and 16, respectively. Other new arrivals include 'Stop Playing With Me,' 'Mommanem,' 'Don't Tap That Glass/Tweaking,' and 'Don't You Worry, Baby.' Nearly One-Third of All His Career Wins Throughout his career, Tyler has now sent 24 songs to the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. Nearly one-third of those placements are brand new this week. Tyler dominates the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this frame, claiming more hits than any other artist. Drake and Kendrick Lamar are currently tied for the second-most wins, with five apiece. Several Smashes for Tyler, the Creator Three tracks from Don't Tap the Glass also performed well enough to appear on the Official Singles chart, which ranks the 100 biggest tracks in the country regardless of genre. Each lead artist is only allowed to occupy three spaces on that list at any one time, and Tyler reaches that number easily. 'Big Poe' nearly breaks into the top 40, opening at No. 43, while 'Sugar on My Tongue' and 'Sucka Free' arrive at Nos. 46 and 58, respectively.

Scott confirmed the news on Instagram Stories Tuesday writing, "Our sweet baby girl is here!" "Her name means 'pause and reflect' and 'God is gracious,' and in the few short days she's been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases," said Scott and her husband Chris Tyrell in a statement to People. "She truly feels like the most priceless gift -- like Christmas in July!" Selah Jean joins the couple's three older daughters -- Eisele Kay, 12, and twins Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, 7. Scott had announced on Instagram in February that she was expecting her fourth daughter. "We are thankful that God has entrusted us with a household of little ladies, and I couldn't be happier that my husband continues his streak as the absolute BEST girl dad, in my opinion!" she said at the time.
