Based on the 1973 suspense novel by Lois Duncan, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' has become one of the most successful and iconic horror franchises. Since the release of its first instalment in 1997, the series has cemented its status as a cult classic in the slasher film genre.
Now, nearly 30 years after 1998's 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer', fans are finally getting the 4th instalment of the beloved franchise. The 2025 film is directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, along with Freddie Prinze Jr. and the legendary Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Film Synopsis
When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they're forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.

Man spends RM26,000 to restore wife's smile

FOR one man, a smile is worth more than gold, leading him to spend RM26,000 on dental implants to restore his wife's smile, Kosmo! Online reported. The gesture was Mohd Yazid Ismail's way of expressing gratitude to his wife, whose teeth had weakened after years of breastfeeding their seven children. In a Facebook post, he explained that his wife suffered brittle teeth and damaged molars, which he believed was caused by calcium deficiency. 'Many breastfeeding mothers face the same problem. 'Calcium is channelled to the baby, leaving the gums weak and the teeth prone to damage,' he wrote. After consultations, the couple opted for implant treatment. 'Although the cost is rather high, I am willing to pay for it because it is for her well-being. To me, my wife's health and smile are priceless. 'She has sacrificed her body for our children, so it is my duty to look after her,' he added. His post has been shared more than 2,000 times and received over 5,600 likes. > The news portal also reported that rapper Bunga Isme is finally reaping the rewards of her hard work with the launch of her debut album Seharum Nama. The album marks a major milestone in her career after years of releasing singles since 2019. Bunga, whose real name is Noor Ayu Fatini Mohd Bakhari, said she had struggled to balance her studies with her singing career. She recalled commuting nearly 100km daily between her home in Petaling Jaya and her university in Seremban. 'I also performed on weekends. I failed two subjects and nearly quit singing. 'It wasn't easy, but those experiences taught me patience and resilience,' she added. The above article is compiled from the vernacular newspapers (Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Tamil dailies). Lee Lung Kei, 74, denies rumours of rift with 38YO fiancee: 'We are doing well'

Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei and his fiancee Chris Wong went public with their relationship in 2020. Photo: Chris Wong/Instagram Hong Kong singer-actor Lee Lung Kei has dismissed rumours of trouble in his relationship with his 38-year-old fiancee Chris Wong. Speculation arose after a photo of the 74-year-old star dining with friends in Canada circulated online, with many noting Wong's absence. Dismissing the claims in an interview with Hong Kong news portal HK01, Lee said that he had personally accompanied Wong to her parents' home in Foshan, China, before heading to the United States and Canada for his shows. 'People must have seen some YouTubers spreading rumours online, right? Don't believe these so-called YouTubers,' the former TVB star added. On their wedding plans, Lee revealed that the couple wants to keep things low-key, as Wong wishes to step away from the public eye. 'I promised her I would keep things on the down low from now on. She hopes to fade out of the spotlight soon, so all I can say is we're doing well,' he said. Wong, a Chinese national whose real name is Wang Qingxia, was sentenced by the Shatin Magistrates' Court in June 2024 after pleading guilty to five charges related to overstaying in Hong Kong and forging university certificates to obtain an entry permit. During her time behind bars, Lee wrote her letters every one to two weeks to keep her spirits up. He also expressed his wish to marry her after her release and even purchased a gold bracelet earlier this year in preparation for their wedding. Wong was deported upon her release earlier on July 7 and crossed into mainland China via the Shenzhen Bay Immigration Control Point. That day, Lee greeted her with a bouquet of pink roses at the immigration hall before embracing her.
