Dua Lipa confirms long-speculated engagement to actor Callum Turner, gushes over decision to ‘grow old together'
Dua Lipa has officially confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner.
The 'Training Season' singer, 29, spoke of their plans to wed in the July issue of British Vogue.
'Yeah, we're engaged,' she said. 'It's very exciting.'
Lipa's confirmation of the engagement comes six months after fans first speculated that Turner, 35, had proposed. In an Instagram post made by Lipa on Dec. 24, eagle-eyed fans noticed what appeared to be a diamond ring on her finger. The singer continued sporting the ring, often posting photos that featured it on her Instagram. She never formally addressed the speculation until now.
'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me,' she told British Vogue of the ring, which Turner had made after receiving input from Lipa's best friends and sister, Rina. 'It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.'
The British pop star admitted that, until now, she'd 'never really understood the weight' of getting engaged.
'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever — it's a really special feeling,' she told British Vogue.
Lipa and Turner were first spotted together in January 2024 after the London premiere of the miniseries Masters of the Air, in which the actor stars. They were reportedly seen slow dancing at the event's afterparty. Romance rumors continued to mount in the following months, as they were seen stepping out together: They were spotted sharing a kiss at Sushi Park in Los Angeles and packed on the PDA during a walk in Beverly Hills. Lipa made their romance Instagram official in July 2024, when she included Turner in a post from Glastonbury Festival. Since then, the Fantastic Beasts actor has consistently made appearances on Lipa's Instagram.
They've yet to set a wedding date, but Lipa is considering what she'd want to wear for the special occasion.
'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period,' she told British Vogue. 'I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamed about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?''
While they're typically private about their relationship, Turner mentioned the singer in an interview at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2025. The 35-year-old actor was in attendance for the premiere of his forthcoming film Eternity when a reporter asked him who he'd want to spend eternity with. 'My girlfriend,' he replied with a smile.
Lipa and Turner made their Met Gala debut as a couple in May. The Radical Optimism singer most recently featured Turner in an Instagram photo dump on June 9.

Heidi Klum Dances While Gardening in an Itty-Bitty Nude String Bikini
Heidi Klum shared a selfie video on Instagram of herself dancing as she watered the plants in her garden in a nude-colored string bikini. Klum's video is part of her campaign for Calzedonia. She has shared a number of shots of herself in Calzedonia bikinis in recent weeks along with an image of herself in nothing but Calzedonia Klum has been doing some rather unorthodox gardening this week. In a new Instagram post, the model and TV presenter filmed herself watering her plants while dancing in a nude string bikini. In the video, she gazed into the camera as she flung her blonde hair around to Tate McRae's "Sports Car" as her dog walked around in the background. She wore a smokey eye look, chunky gold earrings, and white sandals alongside her nude-colored bikini. "Did you know that I have hazel eyes? 🌰👁️," she wrote in the caption, referencing a lyric from the song, before tagging Calzedonia. Klum has posted a number of shots of herself in Calzedonia's swimwear and hoisery in recent months. In April, for instance, she shared a snap of herself going pantsless at the sound studio to show off her Calzedonia stockings. Last year, Klum opened up about her confidence in wearing skimpier outfits. 'I'm not shy about my femininity. I love dressing up where I have my cleavage showing, wearing miniskirts, high heels, gorgeous stockings—but that doesn't mean I want to go home with you,' the model said to The Times. One day before posting her latest bikini video, Klum shared a rare video of her son Johan, whom she shares with Seal, graduating from high school. "Cheering you on today and every day ❤️ CONGRATULATIONS JOHAN 🎓🥳🙏❤️ my heart is full of joy and pride ❤️❤️❤️❤️," Klum captioned the post. A few weeks earlier, she made a rare joint appearance with Henry, her other son with Seal, at the AMA awards. Read the original article on InStyle

CNN correspondent in tears as she reveals MTV VJ Ananda Lewis' final text before her death
A friend of Ananda Lewis has opened up about the final text message she received from the former MTV video jockey. On Wednesday, Lewis's sister posted on Facebook that her sister died, writing, 'She's free, and in His heavenly arms. Lord, rest her soul.' The announcement came after Lewis revealed in October 2024 that her breast cancer had spread and progressed to stage 4. CNN correspondent Stephanie Elam joined Sara Sidner on the channel on Thursday to discuss their last interactions with Lewis. 'One thing I want everyone to know is that she was at peace with this decision,' Elam, 51, said about Lewis and her decision to refuse receiving a double-mastectomy. 'She had come to grips with it.' 'We thought we had weeks and it turned out that it turned into days and it turned out it was just a matter of hours. It happened very quickly how things changed.' Elam then proceeded to read Lewis's final text message to her. 'She texted me and said things had taken a different turn than she would have liked,' the CNN correspondent said. 'This is part of the text she sent me: 'You know my feelings on this. We all go. These bodies are on loan and must be returned. We come in love and choose to leave it with love as well.'' She added: 'And then she goes on to say, 'I love you my wonderful lifelong bestie of besties.'' Lewis had first revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2020. In her Instagram post, Lewis encouraged women to receive annual mammograms because she had avoided them due to a fear of radiation exposure. Speaking with Elam and Sidner during a CNN round-table discussion in October 2024, she revealed her cancer had spread and progressed to stage 4. At the time, the former VJ also revealed why she decided to keep her tumor instead of undergoing a double mastectomy, which her doctors recommended. 'My plan at first was to get out excessive toxins in my body. I felt like my body is intelligent, I know that to be true. Our bodies are brilliantly made,' she told Elam and Sidner. 'I decided to keep my tumor and try to work it out of my body a different way. Looking back on that, I go, 'You know what? Maybe I should have.'' According to the CNN segment, Lewis's methods of treating her breast cancer included medication, radiation, and improving her sleep and diet. On Thursday's segment, Elam reflected on her friend's holistic approach to treating her cancer, saying, 'I love my girl, but she was hard-headed.' 'She wanted to do it her own way despite the fact that so many of us close to her wanted her to try the way that [Sara Sidner] did it. But this is what she wanted to do and she was totally at peace with it.'

Trump Accused of Stealing King Charles' Thunder After the Royal Made a Clear Stance Against the President
The British Royal family is always in the news. Either it's reports about the King's deteriorating health, his feud with Prince Harry or rumours of possible divorce for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Prince William and Kate Middleton. But King Charles, who has been mostly in the news lately because of his cancer and possible succession plans, is now making headlines for another reason. Or, he's making headlines for someone else's actions. This all goes back to U.S. President Donald Trump, with whom King Charles has always had a very good relationship. The President is having a military parade to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, June 14. It just so happens that's the same day when King Charles and other members of the British royal family will stand on the balcony at Buckingham Palace in London for Trooping the Colour. More from StyleCaster Prince William Faces Devastating News After King Charles' Cancer Found 'Incurable' Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Latest Absence Speaks Volumes About His Relationship With King Charles After Reports He's 'Stuck' in the Past Related: Here are the celebrities who support Donald Trump For nearly 300 years, Trooping the Colour has been a celebration of the monarch's birthday—even if King Charles' birthday is months away. Now, President Trump is staging his version of a royal military parade, on the same day, no less. Vanity Fair writer Erin Vanderhoof said 'the purposes of the two parades couldn't be more different,' but comparisons seem inveitable and some people even feel like Trump is trying to steal King Charles' thunder. Trump's military parade is said to be more of a Soviet-style' extravaganza, with battle tanks and Paladin self-propelled howitzers. The parade is not just supposedly celebrating Trump's birthday, but also the 250th anniversary of the Army and Flag Day. Numerous 'No Kings' protests are scheduled to take place around the country during the same time as the parade. According to Axios, President Trump got the idea for a parade after attending France's Bastille Day parade in 2017, but had to cancel his plans in 2018 due to costs. However, Trump has always been a fan of the British Royal family and has attempted to present his family as American royalty, which might explain the insistence on the birthday military parade. King Charles recently took a strong stance against President Donald Trump in a speech to Canada's parliament. This came amid threats from the US President to annex Canada and make it the 51st state. 'We must face reality: since the Second World War, our world has never been more dangerous and unstable. Canada is facing challenges that, in our lifetimes, are unprecedented,' Charles said in French. Though Charles did not specifically address Trump in the speech, he did talk about the fact that 'many Canadians are feeling anxious and worried about the drastically changing world around them' and affirmed Canada's sovereignty, saying the 'True North is indeed strong and free.' According to the Associated Press, the King does not write his speeches in Parliament, and instead, he reads what the Canadian government provides. Recently, King Charles reportedly wrote a letter to President Trump, looking for another state dinner. 'Quite apart from this presenting an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, it would also offer a valuable chance to plan a historic second state visit to the United Kingdom. As you will know, this is unprecedented by a US president. That is why I would find it helpful for us to be able to discuss, together, a range of options for location and programme content,' Trump said about the letter. Whether the relationship between the King of England and the President of the United States will remain on such cordial terms after Trump's birthday parade, on the same day as Trooping the Colour, and the inevitable comparisons, remains to be seen.
