Revealed: Yasmin from Love Island's friend has finally shared why her posture is so good

Cosmopolitan3 days ago
Since Yasmin Pettet made her Love Island debut a few weeks ago, viewers haven't stopped talking about her insane posture.
Some fans were even convinced she might be AI because of how straight her back is while sitting and walking.
Her friend has now revealed the secret behind her impeccable posture, and it's none other than pilates - (knew I should have stuck with my classes!).
The friend, called Megi, posted a Pilates studio clip of herself, Yasmin, and another friend on TikTok, alongside the caption: "I still look like the hunchback next to her tho."
She added: "YasGPT secret to that perfect posture."
Pilates is known for strengthening your core by targeting deep abdominal and back muscles, improving stability and support for your spine. This leads to better posture and helps your body maintain proper alignment - see Yasmin.
The 24-year-old commercial banking executive has been nicknamed YasGPT by fans of the show, after a wild theory emerged that she's actually AI due to her straight posture and monotone voice.
"Yasmin has such good posture, she makes me want to stand up every time! #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK," one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"Yasmin's posture is so good," another said.
"Yasmin just made me sit up straight, her posture is the best I've ever seen," a third wrote.
"YasGPT's posture is truly inspiring #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK," another fan wrote sharing a picture of season five's Ovie Soko looking mesmerised.
The rest of the Love Island 2025 cast have also noticed, with Giorgio recently complimenting her, saying: "I think you've got incredible posture… but you're lovely as well."
During Monday night's heart race challenge, Emily could be heard shouting: "Put that great posture on them," as Yasmin performed for the boys, raising both Dejon and Girogio's hearts the most.
New episodes of Love Island air on ITV2 on weekdays and Sundays at 9pm.

New Love Island Casa Amor bombshell Rheo says "heads aren't going to roll, they're going to snap"

Casa Amor is arguably the most exciting section of Love Island. The ultimate loyalty test, contestants are separated into men and women, with one gender leaving the main villa to head to the 'Love House.' The point is to find out if the current connections will last, or if sparks will fly elsewhere. One of the newest bombshells to enter the Casa Amor villa is Rheo, who has said that she is "locked and loaded" on one particular Islander. With her "target secured," it sounds like drama and chaos are just around the corner. So, ahead of her big entrance, let's find out more about Rheo... Rheo is 26 years old and lives in Nuneaton in Warwickshire. Rheo is a Ring Girl. "The way the villa is at the minute, I can imagine heads are going to roll," Rheo stated, adding: "They're not going to turn, they're going to snap." She also stated the obvious fact that none of the Islanders are married, so there's "space for people to take what they want." OK, definite drama unlocked. As for whether she has a game plan, Rheo admitted that she's "never really had to play games" to get someone she's liked before. She also revealed that if she finds a spark with someone, she can fall quite fast. But, the "energy has to be reciprocated." In terms of what kind of Islander she'll be, Rheo described herself as "very strong-minded." "I feel like the girls are letting the boys run all over them, but that will not be me." "I've got my eye on Harrison. He's cheeky and has a bit about him. I've noticed that he likes a bit of role play, which is interesting. He keeps getting people to get up and act stuff out which is so jokes. I like his imagination." Rheo added: "I'm locked and loaded on him, target secured." "I like someone who can give me the same vibes back," Rheo said, adding she always goes for a pretty boy. "Just a tall drink of handsomeness, please." The Islander also revealed that while she's pretty boujie, she does like "intimate and cute" dates. During her time in the villa, she'll be looking for a "space where it's just two [people] getting to know each other." Rheo has two Instagram accounts. Ahead of her Love Island stint, she's created a new personal page to separate from her work one. You can find her under @rheoparnell. Her professional page is @rheouno, where she has 17.7K followers. The Islander's grid is littered with Ring Girl snaps, 'life lately' posts, photoshoots, and bikini holiday snaps. Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

New Love Island Casa Amor bombshell Yaz arrives tomorrow: "I do fall fast in a relationship"

It's official, there's just one more day to go until Love Island's Casa Amor kicks off. While we've already learned that one of the bombshells is Harry's ex - who looked visibly shocked when Meg read out her name - there are five other girls ready to enter the villa. One of the new Islanders is Yaz, who has shared that she's not afraid of turning someone's head, because she's joining the show to find a "genuine connection." So, as we prepare for Casa Amor and the drama that is likely to come with it, let's find out a little more about Yaz. From her age, occupation, to who she currently has her eye on in the villa... Yaz is 26 years old and currently lives in Manchester. Yaz is a DJ. "The one thing that people are most surprised to learn about me is that I can sing. Some people also think I'm lying about being a DJ. Especially guys on a night out!" she joked. OK, this fully means that she needs to flex these skills in the villa. Pool party, anyone? Casa Amor's latest bombshell has stated that she doesn't have a game plan, but knows what she wants and who she wants. When reflecting on how it's been watching the show in the knowledge that she'll be entering the villa, Yaz said: "If I was to sum it up, I would say it's been wild, feral and crazy. From watching it at home and comparing it to previous series, it's a crazy one." The new Islander also revealed that she falls fast in a relationship, and can get "a bit delusional." She explained: "When I fall for someone, I forget everything else. My whole life goes on hold for the person I'm in love with. I'm a lovergirl." As for the kind of Islander she thinks she'll be, Yaz used the terms "fun and geeky." But, she said that these personality traits won't be expected. She added: "People always tell me they never thought I'd be like that but then I open my mouth." "I have my eye on three boys: Harrison, Tommy and Conor. They all seem like they treat women really well, and they have nice personalities and nice bodies." "Definitely someone that's masculine, muscly, taller than me and emotionally available," the Islander shared. You can find Yaz on Instagram under @yasmin_lauryn, where she has 16.2K followers. Her grid is littered with DJ content, from promoting her Ministry of Sound mixes to footage of her playing at events like Parklife festival, and the Sabrina Carpenter pre-party in Manchester. Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

'Mr. Robot' is now on Netflix — and this flawless techno-thriller has only gotten better with time

Whether you missed the hype the first time around or you're looking to jump once more down the rabbit hole of "Mr. Robot's" many mysteries, Rami Malek's hit hacker thriller series just landed on Netflix. And already viewers can't seem to get enough. All four seasons of USA Network's Emmy-winning "Mr. Robot" arrived on Netflix on July 3, and the techno-thriller is already sitting pretty in the #5 spot on Netflix's top 10 shows. It's hardly a surprise that fans would be eager to revisit the series; "Mr. Robot's" anti-capitalist portrayal of withstanding the yoke of tech-driven corporate control feels as relevant today as when it premiered 10 years ago. Before diving in (or should we say hacking in?) to the show, here's everything you need to know about "Mr. Robot" on Netflix — and why it deserves to be your next binge-watch. "Mr. Robot" follows Elliot Alderson (Malek), a brilliant but troubled cybersecurity engineer in New York City. While working for the megacorporation Allsafe Cybersecurity, he's recruited by an anarchist known as "Mr. Robot" (Christian Slater) to join a society of hacktivists. Their radical mission includes wiping out global consumer debt by encrypting the data of one of the world's largest corporations, which is also Allsafe's biggest client. Caught between his day job as a tech worker and his new secret mission to destroy the very system he serves, Elliot walks a dangerous tightrope. All the while, he also grapples with severe mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and dissociative identity disorder. His fractured sense of reality often fuels his hacking abilities, giving him a unique edge, but at the cost of serious problems in his personal life — many of which he doesn't fully understand or even recognize. Beneath that premise, however, lies a gripping psychological thriller that explores the isolation of a hyper-connected digital age as well as the perils of unchecked consumerism and capitalism. The show blends the high-stakes tension of an espionage thriller with the unsettling paranoia of a psychological drama. It doesn't just make computer hacking exciting to watch (and with an impressive level of technical accuracy, I might add), but demonstrates how it can be a catalyst for revolution. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. All four seasons of "Mr. Robot" landed on Netflix on July 3. The show was a sensation when it first premiered back in 2015. "Mr. Robot" wrapped up in 2019, before the rise of TikTok and transition to AI-powered everything sparked by ChatGPT and the like. Technology has only become further entrenched in our lives since then, likely why viewers are eager to watch Elliot and his fellow hackers turn the very tools of corporate control against their creators. Its message is just as resonant today as it was when season 4 wrapped. I'm far from the only one raving about USA Network's hit show. The first season received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, and Malek won Outstanding Lead Actor for his breakout performance. Every season of "Mr. Robot" earned a 90% critics' score or higher on Rotten Tomatoes, and the series finale is a particular high point with the second-highest rating of the bunch (96%, just shy of the first season's 98%). The Guardian's Richard Vine described "Mr. Robot" as "perfect binge-watch material: turn it on and on again." The Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus for season 1 reads: "'Mr. Robot' is a suspenseful cyber-thriller with timely stories and an intriguing, provocative premise." With the show's recent arrival on Netflix, longtime fans who watched "Mr. Robot" during its original run on USA Network can now revisit it a decade later, while newcomers finally have a chance to discover why it's earned such a devoted cult following. Stream "Mr. Robot" on Netflix now.
