David Beckham to guest edit edition of Country Life Magazine
The former England captain and businessman will join the editorial team for the October 22 edition of the magazine with the aim of celebrating what the countryside means to him and his family.
He follows in the footsteps of Royal Family members who previously joined the editor-in chief Mark Hedges at the helm, including the King, the Princess Royal and the Queen.

Beckham said: 'I am honoured to have been invited to guest edit an edition of a magazine that I have always admired and read.
'I am really looking forward to working with the editorial team to produce an issue that will celebrate what the countryside and the great British landscape means to me and my family.'
This comes as Beckham is to be awarded a knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours, according to reports by The Sun.
The football star regularly documents his life in the countryside by posting pictures and videos on his Instagram including him harvesting vegetables, gardening and his flock of chickens.
Mark Hedges, Country Life editor-in-chief, said: 'I know he has a deep love of the countryside, which has grown since he retired as a professional footballer, although he is, of course, still extremely busy as a businessman and an ambassador for a host of causes, such as Unicef and The King's Foundation, as well as being co-owner of Inter Miami CF in the US and Salford City Football Club in the UK.

'As someone who is passionate about the countryside, I'm excited to see what his special commemorative issue will bring.'
The one-off edition aims to highlight how the countryside has played an important part in Beckham's life.
It will feature his favourite view, his best-loved recipe and spotlight his rural champions, including the craftsmen and woman who helped shape his home in the Cotswolds.
Beckham, who played for his country 115 times, is the only Englishman to score at three different World Cups and his career included the treble-winning campaign of 1998-99, when Manchester United won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
He earned the third highest number of England caps of all time for the men's team, and was captain on 59 occasions.
The former winger married Spice Girl Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, in 1999.

McFly star deletes insensitive post after India plane crash with urgent apology
Tom Fletcher - one quarter of McFly - has issued an apology after he made an insensitive post about planes on his social media account following the devastating Air India crash McFly star Tom Fletcher has issued an apology following a post he made about planes in the wake of the Air India crash. Hundreds of people lost their lives in a tragic plane crash moments after it took off in Ahmedabad. The plane had been bound to London Gatwick and was carrying 242 passengers when it crashed into the city just moments after leaving Ahmedabad Airport. Miraculously, one man survived the crash. On the same day, Tom shared a post about planes to his Instagram story before later deleting it after reading the news. He wrote: "Sorry, I've only just seen the terrible news about the Air India crash." In a post to apologise on Instagram, he added: "So awful. Had I known earlier, I obviously wouldn't have posted about my flight today. I understand why that much have looked insensitive and have deleted it. Thanks for letting me know. My whole heart goes out to everyone involved in the crash and all their friends & families." Mark Wright came under fire for his own post about planes and legroom just hours after the crash. He had posted some content from his recent holiday, captioning it: "1 day babe, for now we'll take row 26 with no extra leg room." However, the post was swiftly deleted and Mark issued an apology. He said: "I apologise for a post I just put up on my page after today's heartbreaking events. "I have posts from a holiday that are on the scheduled setting, which go out on future days I have set them for which was done last week. It's a horrendous coincidence that today's post was on such a devastating day." He added: "Once I logged in to my Instagram and realised the post had gone out, I immediately deleted. My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected from today. I'm sorry for this mistake and any offence caused." Sadly, it has now been confirmed that eight people who weren't on the plane have died following the crash. Ahmedabad authorities told the BBC that four of them were medical students who had been living in one of the buildings where the plane crashed into whilst the other four were relatives of other students living in the hostel at the time. Both the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the CEO of Air India have visited the crash site to pay tribute to the victims. Campbell Wilson, the CEO of Air India, said in a statement of his "deep sorrow" at the loss of life.
