WA teen Caitlyn Bragger remembered as ‘ray of sunshine' after overloaded 4WD crashes
Tributes have begun to flow for a teen girl killed in a horror car accident near a camping ground on Saturday.
Caitlyn Bragger, 15, was one of six teens in an overloaded 4WD that crashed near Brockman Lake on Scarp Rd at Hoffman, about an hour and 40 minutes south of Perth, at about 8pm.
She was a passenger in the white Toyota LandCruiser which Western Australia Police said was driven by a 16-year-old boy.
The car rolled several times in the crash, police said.
Nearby campers told 7NEWS that they saw the car snaking around the area near them and watched as the headlight moved through trees in the distance before they heard a loud bang and screaming.
'It shook us for a while,' one of the campers who rushed to help said.
Bragger died of her injuries at the scene.
The driver and a 17-year-old boy were seriously injured and taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital.
An 18-year-old boy and two 16-year-old girls also suffered minor injuries.
Bragger's family 'are now left broken and in pieces, lost and confused,' a GoFundMe fundraising for her funeral said.
The fundraiser's organiser, Mekayla Cowcher, said she also hopes it will help ease the financial burden 'on her heartbroken family, who are unable to return to work as they try to cope with the overwhelming grief of losing their precious Caitlyn.'
'No one ever expects something like this to happen, you can't prepare yourself.'
Bragger's aunt, Danica Pierce, said her 'heart is seriously struggling to take all this pain'.
'You are going to be so missed, now an angel in heaven but way too young, my heart breaks.'
Cowcher remembered Bragger as an 'outgoing' girl.
'She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunty and friend. She brought a ray of sunshine everywhere she went.
'Known for her kindness, unique sense of humour, and devotion to her family and friends.'

Good Samaritan stabbed while helping victim of armed robbery outside suburban home in Victoria
A man is in hospital after he tried to help the victim of an armed robbery on Tuesday night. A woman was robbed when she approached two men who had parked their vehicle next to another car on Sepal Dr at Mickleham, about 45-minutes north of Melbourne, at 9.20pm. The men were armed with a golf club and a knife. 'They stole her mobile phone,' Victoria Police said. That is when another man stepped in to help the woman, but he was stabbed by one of the offenders. The suspects fled, and no arrests have been made. The Good Samaritan was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Neighbours told 7NEWS they could hear screaming from inside their homes. One man said that crimes had been increasing in the suburban area, noting that one car had recently been stolen from the street, and another dumped. Investigations into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
