Hidden New Balance sale section lists trainers for half their original price
Shoppers looking to upgrade their footwear can do so without breaking the bank, thanks to an unobvious part of New Balance's website. The popular brand is offering up to 50% off much-loved trainer styles in its outlet section.
With pairs being sold at half-price in the sale, customers have the chance to get their hands on some New Balance kicks for much less, but only while stocks last. These outlet offers can be found by hovering over the site's main sections online.
There are hundreds of trainers, sliders and sandals available with price cuts in the New Balance outlet footwear range. We've spotted these popular WRPD Runner Shoes down to £70, reduced from £140. They have an overall rating of 4.6 out of five.
The Unisex WRPD Runner Shoes have been reduced to £70 in various colours including black, grey, dark moss and seasalt/navy, with the others down to £84 - meaning shoppers can save between 40 and 50%. These runners come in a wide range of sizes from 3.5 to 16.5, and are said to have a 'fluid design' with 'sculpted contours'.
One happy reviewer said: "I really liked these sneakers, I only wear this brand and this model is the most comfortable. They look stylish. All my friends liked them, I will recommend and buy more."
However, someone else was less pleased. They wrote: "Comfy to walk in but in no way could they be considered running shoes."
Skechers is also well loved for its incredibly comfortable footwear. The brand's Summits Top Player Trainers, currently slashed to £26.80 (was £59) on Amazon, have received more than 8,000 five-star ratings, with reviewers raving over their 'good quality'.
While ASOS is currently offering discounts on some trainers in its huge sportswear sale. Included are these Adidas Originals Handball Spezial trainers in cream and green, now down to £60 from £90. They boast a near-perfect overall rating of 4.9.
Another New Balance outlet deal to consider is the vintage-inspired 327 Shoes, with a reduction from £100 to £60. These kicks have been praised by customers for their adaptability, comfort level and 'stylish' design.
A delighted nurse left a glowing review of the shoes, saying: "I'm a nurse who works 12 hour shifts and these sneakers are absolutely perfect. They are comfortable and slip resistant. They are perfect for long standing, walking and running."
Yet, one buyer pointed out a potential drawback. They wrote: "Great shoes that are stylish and comfortable! My only concern is the suede."

Cheaper-than-Amazon deal slashes 30% off Skechers slip off trainers that prevent back and foot pain
Skechers has slashed the price of its slip on trainers to £63 in the sale, making them £20 cheaper than Amazon and great for preventing pain after being on your feet for 12 hours There's nothing more important than finding a pair of shoes that are comfortable and easy to wear, and that becomes even more pressing if you struggle with pain or mobility issues. The wrong shoes can leave everything from your feet and knees to your back aching, especially if you're on your feet most of the day, whilst the right pair should help support and balance your body and offer plenty of cushioning and impact protection. If you're on the lookout for just such a pair, you may want to head over to Skechers, where its summer sale has slashed the price of some of its best-selling designs. One pair that's enjoying a big saving right now is the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 Smooth Step, which now have a huge 30% discount applied to them. Usually priced at £90, they're currently on offer for £62.99, saving you almost £30 on the comfortable and easy-to-wear trainers. This price rivals other big name retailers like Amazon, which currently has the trainers available for £80.81, making them £20 more expensive than buying directly from the Skechers website. The slip-on trainers have been designed to be easily accessible, making them perfect for those who struggle with bending down to tie laces or cannot use lots of pressure to wriggle their foot into shoes. The hands-free design means you can quite literally step into them with minimal effort or strain. To stop them from slipping around whilst wearing them, they've been designed with a heel pillow which holds your foot securely in place, with a stretch fit knitted upper which moves with your foot to keep it comfortable. The Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 trainers also feature an air-cooled memory foam insole and a flexible outer sole to absorb impact and keep you comfortable all day. Skechers might have cornered the market on slip-on trainers, but there are still other brands you can consider. Hush Puppies has launched a very competitive sale which sees its slip-on Recycled Good Shoe Bungee Trainers slashed from £65 to £25.99. Meanwhile at Sports Direct, Reebok's DMX Slip On 61 are now £49 down from £69.99, with a range of larger sizes still in stock. If you struggle to get the right fit, these adidas Blue Cloudfoam Go Sock Shoes are £60, but come in half sizes all the way from a 3.5 to a 9. The Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 also have a broad range of sizes spanning from a 2 to an 8, with half sizes available. They've also got an impressive 4.7 star rating, with shoppers praising their comfort and look. One happy reviewer wrote: 'Love the design! I'm on my feet for over 12 hours sometimes. I need quality shoes to wear and these ones are it!! I have no pain in my feet or back when I get off of work. I'm telling all my friends about them!' A second agreed: 'I am going to have knee surgery and the nurse-coach suggested sketchers shoes because of the rubber soles and ease of wear. She wears them all the time.' A third shopper who suffers with mobility issues called the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 'perfect', saying: 'I have pain issues - back, knees, feet, everywhere. Bending and putting on shoes in general is an issue. I've tried a few other "easy hands free shoes" that still required some struggle on my part to put on so even though these were more than I'd normally spend on shoes, I decided to buy try them out based on reviews and Holy Moley, I'm so glad I did. 'These are perfect for anyone like me with mobility issues especially with bending and putting on shoes. I had trouble bringing my dog for walks because I legit couldn't put on good shoes to bring him on them, and these I can just easily slip on and go. I kid you not that it would take me 5+ minutes to put on other sneakers and these take me less than 5 seconds. On top of this, I have wide feet and I have such a hard time finding wide enough shoes and even when I've ordered "wide" sneakers they haven't been actually wide. These fit me perfectly. I can wear these with or without socks comfortably. I'm probably going to buy another pair in another color. I'm now a fan of Sketchers for sure.' However some found the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 less comfortable, with one warning: 'Very high at ankle height, not suitable for swollen ankles.' Whilst another chimed in: 'I bought a size 9 Wide width and that is what I received, however, the wide width is not wide at all. Way too narrow of a toe box. I have narrow feet, but need the wider width to allow toe box spread. These are not a true wide width when ordered that way.' Others, however, couldn't get over their comfort, writing: 'When I first wore these I was afraid they were too tight in the instep but after wearing just a few times they were perfect. Have never tried slip ins before and they are absolutely amazing. The padding at the heel is a real bonus. For summer shoes they are perfect.' Whilst another simply said: 'I love these slip in Sketchers. I have them in 4 colors. They are the most comfortable shoes I have.'

Sony's high-performance over-ear headphones have received a major discount, with many reviewers describing them as 'amazing' and even calling them the 'best ever'. The Sony ULT WEAR Over Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are now available on Amazon for £99, down from their original retail price of £179, a saving of 45%. Finished in black, the headphones offer a premium listening experience packed with features including deep bass, advanced noise cancellation, and up to 30 hours of battery life. The headphones are powered by Sony's Integrated Processor V1 and 40mm driver units, designed to deliver what the company calls 'ULT POWER SOUND'. Users can adjust the bass through a dedicated button, which activates two sound modes: Deep Bass for extra low-end punch and Attack Bass for added energy. The result is a powerful, customisable sound profile particularly suited to bass lovers. Noise cancelling is handled by Sony's adaptive technology, with an ambient sound mode available for those who prefer to stay aware of their surroundings. For calls, the headphones use beam-forming microphones and precise voice pickup technology to ensure clear audio, even in noisy environments. Other features include multi-point Bluetooth pairing, support for Google Assistant and Alexa, and quick charging, with 1.5 hours of playback from just a three-minute top-up. The headphones are compatible with iOS and Android and come with a compact carry case. For those who want alternatives, Sennheiser's ACCENTUM Plus Wireless Headphones are currently £139, down from £199.99, while Soundcore's Space One model is £62.99 and offers adaptive noise cancelling and 40-hour battery life. Others praised the headset's premium feel, with one review stating: 'Extremely high value for money. The build quality is absolutely amazing and they come with so many features. Noise cancelling is absolutely fantastic.' However, a few users expressed concerns. One reviewer reported a crack forming on the side of the headphones after six months of regular use, suggesting they may not be the best choice for gym wear. Another wrote: 'Too much bass and not enough soundstage. Good noise cancelling and comfort, but not great for hearing background instruments.' The Sony ULT WEAR is currently available for £99 on Amazon, reduced from £179.

Fitbit smartwatch hailed 'best buy' by delighted tech fan drops to under £100
Amazon has slashed 29% off the Google Fitbit Charge 6 Activity Tracker with a free 6 month premium membership Smartwatches have become a must-have gadget for many, allowing the wearer to track fitness goals, sleeping patterns, and some even take calls and send texts. There are several options for shoppers to peruse, but the likes of Google Fitbit and Apple arguably dominate the market as a reliable and stylish choice. Amazon has just made it more affordable to get hold of the Google Fitbit Charge 6 by offering a deal that makes it almost 30% cheaper. On sale for £98.99 down from £139.99 in all three colours (orange, black and white), the smartwatch comes with complimentary 6 months premium membership. The Fitbit Charge 6 is compatible with iOS 15 or higher and Android OS 9.0 or higher, and has a battery life of seven days, as well as being water-resistant up to 50m. It boasts more than 40 exercise modes, sleep tracking, 24/7 heart rate monitor and a daily readiness score. Those looking for other features besides fitness can explore elements such as Google Wallet, Google Maps and when connected to a phone, the Fitbit shows notifications and allows calls and texts. Customers praise the battery life of the Google Fitbit Charge 6, with one person saying it is 'far better than the Apple watch', due to this. Someone else said: "The reason I bought this was the battery life. Having a device which you need to charge every day or every other day is just not practical for me and the battery on this lasts almost a week." Google Fitbit Charge 6 Activity Tracker £139.99 £98.99 Amazon Shop deal Product Description If the Fitbit isn't quite within budget, Amazon also offers the Fitpolo Smart Watch for £38.99. Shoppers say it is a 'good value smart watch' that is 'packed with features'. Garmin is another top-rated brand in the world of smartwatches and has currently slashed the price of the Venu 2S Smartwatch by £60. Meanwhile, Samsung's range of smart watches are also popular. The chic piece of tech would typically set shoppers back £349.99 but is now on sale for £199. Not only does it look good on the wrist, it has up to 10 days battery life, more than 25 preloaded sports apps, animated workout coaches, music storage and touch-free payments. Regarding the Fitbit Charge 6, there have been some glowing reviews left for the device. Someone said: "Really happy with the Fitbit Charge 6 so far. It's lightweight, looks good, and the tracking is super accurate — especially heart rate during workouts. Battery easily lasts a week, which is a big plus. The sleep and activity insights have actually helped me make small changes that stick. Premium membership is a nice bonus too. Overall, a solid upgrade and totally worth it." Another person pointed out that the subscription isn't a must, meaning after 6 months shoppers don't necessarily need to upgrade to make use of the watch. They wrote: "Highly recommend - slim design, high quality and fits great. Packed with useful features with no need for a premium subscription." While there are a number of features that score points with shoppers, the Fitbit Charge 6 does lack in one area. A less happy customer wrote: "Have received my tracker and all working well. A little disappointed that Fitbit chose not to include the ability to count stairs as my previous charge 4 used to do, however the additions of oxygen levels, skin temperature and ECG do make up for this." But, it helped someone else achieve their fitness goal, with the consumer leaving a five star review that reads: "From little movement to 10km every morning. The best buy I have made. Reduced weight by 2.5 stones and feel fitter than I have for years. The watch didn't actually achieve this but 100% contributed toward it."
