Among the stars who joined the celebration was Bollywood's original 'Bad Man',
. The actor, known for his iconic villain roles in films like 'Ram Lakhan', 'Mohra' and 'Yes Boss', took to the stage to present an award and also shared what kind of content he would make if he became a digital creator himself.
'This is a very, very unusual award'
Gulshan Grover started his speech by praising the event and how it highlighted creators doing exceptional work.
He said, 'Congratulations to Times Entertainment for moving with times. In fact, moving ahead of times. This is a very, very unusual award being given to such tremendously talented people that we are aware of their work, partially, but we were not aware of how diverse work, how wonderful work is being done by such young talented people.'
Grover added,'There was so much interesting work being done by these creators. I am extremely happy that I came this evening to be part of this award.'
What content would he create?
When asked what kind of content he would create if he had a
channel, Gulshan Grover shared an interesting story.
'I was in Australia doing some live shows in different cities, and actor
, a friend of mine, and that I met him after a long time. Ashish does this food channel. He was also there, and wherever we went, he was constantly, constantly covering food, food, food. I said interesting, he is an actor and he found food, covering food, talking about food interesting.'

He said the thought stayed with him, 'When I came back to the hotel and I was thinking if I was to do this, what would it be? What is it that fascinates me?'
He added, 'Of course, being a bad man, being a villain on screen, doing this for multiple years is fascinating, interesting. I would like to sort of work around that. I would also like to meet, interview, and talk to people who have played these wonderful bad man roles.'
He continued with a bold opinion about acting, 'Because in my opinion, to be a hero, you need to be good looking and an average actor.
To be a bad man, you have to be a very, very good actor. It's because you are playing the same part over and over again. What you are going to do is known. That you are going to be bad, terrible. But how you present it, how you perform it, how you do it, how some fashion guy dresses you up, makes you look interesting, how the whole persona and everything works on screen, there are so many different facets.
'
He added, 'So therefore, playing a villain is extremely difficult.
So I would definitely like to cover all that.'
The Power Creator Awards 2025 is a celebration of the creative energy sweeping across the country's digital space. Co-powered by Nothing, and with Hilton as the official Hospitality Partner, the event brought together leading voices across categories.

Farhan Akhtar on Nasseruddin Shah's criticism of his acting:'Why should I reach out to a person who doesn't respect me?'

Farhan Akhtar is responding to the comments made by Naseeruddin Shah about his acting and films. Farhan and Naseeruddin shared screen space in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaraa, where Farhan played the veteran actor's son. In an interview with Galatta Plus, Farhan has now reacted to how he felt about the critical comments made by Naseeruddin and why he did not feel the need to reach out afterwards. Farhan Akhtar spoke about Naseeruddin Shah's comments on his acting. What Farhan said When the host asked about whether he reached out to Naseeruddin regarding his critical comments on his acting, Farhan said no and elaborated why. 'I have been doing films for 25 years. There are certain actors, directors, writers who I have known and they have debuted maybe 10 years after me. If there is something in their work that I feel, from my observation, that this could be better or that I have this piece of advice to give them… genuinely I would pick up the phone and call them. Or say I would like to meet you and sit down and have a conversation with a person who I care about in a sensitive way because you are going into somebody's creative process, and giving them constructive feedback from your point of view,' he said. He could have called me to discuss it, says Farhan Farhan then went on to add, 'But it has to be done with a certain degree of love, and a certain degree of respect for the other person. I felt that it didn't come from that place. I just felt it was just like a statement just theown out publicly. I felt that then this person doesn't respect you… so why should I reach out to a person who doesn't respect me? It was very clear to me that if he really did genuinely feel that… he knows my dad, Shabana, my mom and me… we worked together in ZNMD, so it would have been the easiest thing for him to say that I want to speak to you why don't you come over!' For the unversed, in a 2013 interview with The Times of India, Naseeruddin had said, 'Farhan Akhtar's films I clearly don't care for. I liked his first film Dil Chahta Hai. He's a tremendous person and has so many facets to him. Tomorrow I won't be surprised if I hear that he cooked a 10 course meal to perfection. He sings, acts, produces films and writes, I think it's great he's doing whatever he can. I'm not a great fan of his acting or his films. But I admire him." Farhan is the son of screenwriter Javed Akhtar. He started his career in Bollywood as an assistant director with films such as Lamhe in 1991 and Himalay Putra in 1997. Since then, he has directed Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don, and acted in Rock On!, Luck By Chance, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Dil Dhadakne Do. He will be seen next in 120 Bahadur.

Asian Paints brings the spirit of Independence alive in every colour with ‘The Colours of India' campaign

Every Independence Day stirs a familiar yet powerful emotion– a swell of pride, a rush of nostalgia, and a celebration of what makes our country truly unique. But this year, that feeling took on a vivid and tangible form for many. In a special collaboration, Asian Paints joined hands with The Times of India to transform the very front page of one of the nation's most iconic newspapers, changing its legendary masthead from THE TIMES OF INDIA to THE COLOURS OF INDIA. The creativity didn't stop there. As readers saw the front page, they were greeted by a curated palette of authentic saffron, white and green – the Tricolour, which was not just symbolic, but actually came from Asian Paints' extensive colour library, each with its own shade code. This thoughtful design transformed the simple act of flipping a page into a moment of patriotism, while also showcasing the vastness of Asian Paints' offerings of over 5,000 unique shades. Titled The Colours of India , the campaign can be called a masterclass in print innovation with its striking and disruptive approach that wove national pride directly into the newspaper's identity. The masthead change integrated the celebration of Independence Day into the publication's core. The act of turning the page became an immersive experience into Asian Paints offerings while also being a heartfelt tribute to the Tricolour and a reminder that patriotism can be 'seen, touched, and cherished every day' in our own homes. Each shade in The Colours of India comes directly from Asian Paints' extensive colour library and is backed by the Asian Paints' legacy of protecting homes and memories. For over 80 years, Asian Paints has been India's leading name in paint and décor, synonymous with quality, innovation, and trust. Found in one out of every two Indian homes, the brand has been a part of life stories across generations, witnessing milestones, celebrations, and everyday moments. From bold statement hues to subtle timeless tones, Asian Paints' portfolio gives every Indian the freedom to bring their personal vision to life without compromise. Commenting on the campaign, Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO, Asian Paints said, 'Marking India's 79th year of Independence, Asian Paints celebrates the spirit of the nation with a campaign that goes beyond walls. At Asian Paints, colours are more than aesthetic choices — they are expressions of one's shared spirit and individuality. For over eight decades, we've been custodians of this vibrant canvas, enabling every Indian to make their spaces a true reflection of themselves. This campaign is a reminder that love for our country and personal expression aren't limited to one day — they can be lived and cherished every day in the spaces we call our own." The Colours of India reached millions nationwide, turning a daily ritual into a striking expression of unity, identity, and design.
