Part of A2 in Kent closed eastbound after serious crash
Part of the A2 in Kent has been closed following a serious crash, National Highways has said.Traffic was held in both directions between the A2018 near Bexley and the M25 near Dartford shortly after 17:15 BST on Friday.The road was reopened westbound with vehicles released past the scene shortly after 18:40, but motorists were told to expect delays.The eastbound road will remain closed for an investigation into the cause of the crash.
National Highways said an air ambulance and other emergency services were at the scene.Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.

Biker who died in Grimsby crash named by family as JP Perry
A motorcyclist who died following a crash in Grimsby on Saturday has been named by his Perry, 18, was riding a Kawasaki at about 14:20 BST along Heneage Road towards Welholme Road when it was in collision with a BMW near the junction with David Street, Humberside Police Perry was taken to hospital but died from his injuries on tribute, his family said: "JP was a lovely lad who would do anything for anybody." The family added: "Even until the end he has donated his organs in order to help others and he will be sadly missed by his mum and sisters."
