Malondié founder Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba reveals inspiration behind upcoming SS25 fashion collection
Get ready for a collaboration that celebrates the deep-rooted connection between fashion, heritage and glow. Creative director and owner of revered fashion brand Malondié Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba is set to showcase the label's spring/summer 2025 collection in partnership with Vaseline's new Cera-Glow range, fusing the power of glowing skincare with the upcoming collection's vision of heritage and high fashion. The fashion show is set to take place on Saturday, 30 August, and bring to life the theme 'We are the fruits of where we come from', marking a collection of 60 looks that will embody Malondié's bold and contemporary storytelling through fashion. Ahead of the fashion show, Londeka tells TRUELOVE about what to expect from the SS25 collection. Tell us about the inspiration for Malondié's Spring/Summer 2025 collection and what you hope viewers will take away from this collection? 'Our collection draws its inspiration from the iconic isigege, the traditional Zulu maiden skirt. As a young Zulu girl, the isigege was an essential part of my attire for traditional celebrations, and it remains a powerful symbol of our cultural identity. With this collection, we aim to celebrate the evolution of our heritage while highlighting our brand's commitment to creativity and innovation. 'We are excited to present 60 unique looks on the runway, thoughtfully curated into four distinctive themes: 15 Summer Blocks Collection 15 Fruits Collection, inspired by the fruits of our homeland 15 Malondié Quiet Luxury pieces 15 Pink Safari Collection 'This showcase is a vibrant tribute to our roots and a bold step forward in contemporary fashion.' What are the colours and textures that spoke out to you when creating this collection for the next season? 'This collection features a complex interplay of textures, including the tactile richness of woven materials, the lustrous elegance of satin, organdie and the airy lightness of chiffon. I am a lover of woven materials all seasons, and when it comes to my summer collections, the flow and delicate of organdie and satin will always be on top of my list of material. 'I have thoughtfully paired these fabrics with a chic palette of luxurious woven cream white, vibrant colour blocks, a mix of fruit motifs. Each element is carefully selected to evoke both the spirit of celebration and the enduring beauty of Zulu heritage, bringing a contemporary twist to traditional inspiration.' READ MORE | Fashion label Imprint ZA partners with Women for Change in star-studded campaign In what ways do you keep your collections fresh and innovative while still staying true to Malondié's creative vision? 'To keep my collections fresh and innovative while remaining true to our creative vision, I start by grounding every collection in our core values, honouring heritage, authenticity and storytelling. From there, I constantly explore new materials, techniques and silhouettes that push the boundaries of what I feel I want my collection to look like or how I wish for my brand to be seen. 'I draw inspiration from both global trends and local narratives, blending traditional elements with contemporary twists. Research plays the biggest role in my decision making. Each collection needs to be locally and internationally attractive. Collaborations also play a big role in keeping our brand innovative.' Can you tell us about any upcoming projects or goals you'd like to achieve and get stuck into? 'One of my biggest aspirations is to introduce Malondié to international markets. I believe there is a vibrant global audience eager to experience Malondié; this is confirmed by the number of shipments and enquiries we receive from abroad. Expanding abroad will allow us to share the unique narratives, craftsmanship, and heritage that define us on a much larger stage. 'We are working on international collaborations that we feel will be good for our international expansion. I look forward to continuing my partnership with Vaseline. There is more to teach our ladies about how taking care of your skin is as important as that Malondié dress they wear.'

'19 Kids and Counting Star' Jana Duggar Reveals She's Pregnant With Her First Child—a Year After Moving Into $275K Nebraska Fixer-Upper
Former reality star Jana Duggar has revealed that she is expecting her first child with husband Stephen Wissmann—just one year after the "19 Kids and Counting" alum moved out of the family home and into a $275,000 fixer-upper in Nebraska with her new spouse. Jana, 35, shared the joyful news in an Instagram post, revealing that she and her husband, who wed in August 2024, will welcome their "little bundle of joy" in January 2026. "We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!" she wrote alongside several images of herself posing with her husband and showing off her growing bump. "We're counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!" The pregnancy announcement is the latest in a long line of milestones for the couple—whose lives have changed dramatically in the past year. First came the duo's wedding, which took place in the bride's home state of Arkansas and was attended by 500 guests and saw several of Jana's sisters serving as bridesmaids. Then, just a few weeks after tying the knot, the couple announced another big change in their life: a move away from Arkansas, where Jana was still living in the family's infamous compound, and into a fixer-upper home in Nebraska that her husband had bought for $275,000. Jana quickly began sharing the renovation process on her YouTube channel, admitting that, while she had moved out of her family's home, she hadn't hesitated to call her parents to help with their DIY project. "I'm so excited to show you all this space and share with you our renovation plans," the former TLC star said in one YouTube video. "I cannot wait to see this project come together in real life." Jana, who is one of the oldest of Jim Bob and wife Michelle's 19 children, first revealed her plans to relocate to Nebraska with her husband in an interview with People magazine, explaining that Stephen already owned a property that they were planning to renovate. 'He has a little house we bought that we've been fixing up and getting pulled together, and so that's been fun,' she said at the time. The property pales in comparison to the enormous home the Duggars featured in their series of reality shows, which began in September 2008 and ran for seven years before ultimately being canceled amid her brother Josh's sexual assault allegations. Jana's move away from her family home marked an important step for the eldest Duggar daughter, who, until her marriage, had remained closely intertwined with the lives of her parents, even as her other siblings cut their ties. Still, she and Stephen had quite the challenge in front of them in terms of turning their home into a dream dwelling for their growing family—with Jana's YouTube video revealing a very dated interior that was in desperate need of a refresh. In her first video showcasing the property, Jana entered the 2,152-square-foot home, revealing a spacious floor plan with bedrooms on every story, as well as a basement and a sizable living area. The reasonably priced, ranch-style home is in northwest Lincoln. It has a main living room with super shiny flooring and two windows, and it flows to the dining area and galley-style kitchen. There are three bedrooms on the first level, while the other two are on the lower floor, along with a rec room and second bath. The yard is fully fenced, and there's also a storage shed and a two-car garage. Their first project involved combining two of the first-floor bedrooms into a primary suite, which would include an en suite bathroom, Jana explained. Meanwhile, the duo carried out a full gut renovation of the kitchen, with the newly pregnant reality star turned YouTuber admitting that they'd had to set up a temporary cooking space in another room while they completed the work. In her most recent video about the renovation, which was posted in April, Jana revealed that work on the property was essentially complete, with just a few additional design details left to finish off. Among these were the addition of a ventilation system in the kitchen, which the former TLC star showed herself completing with relative ease—before she moved on to cutting wood that would serve as new shelves inside one of their cupboards. While Jana ran into a slight complication when she realized that she had failed to cut the wood to the right size for the space, she managed to trim it down to be the perfect fit after a few more tries. "As the saying goes, 'Measure twice, cut once,'" she joked as she set about trimming the wood yet again. She and Stephen were also seen putting together furniture for various spaces in the home, before unboxing some larger items, like a new swivel chair for the living room. The video revealed that the couple had gone for a largely neutral aesthetic in their home, which featured white marble accents in the kitchen, and plenty of beige tones in the living room. Though Jana previously conceded that the project was a huge undertaking, she admitted to her YouTube viewers that there was something very special about building a home with her husband that they knew was going to serve as a base for their family for years to come. "Putting in a whole new kitchen has definitely been a huge undertaking," she said. "Especially since we've been doing so much of the work ourselves, with the help of family and friends. "But it's just so rewarding to see this project coming together. I imagine it'll be so much more meaningful to use the space in the years to come, remembering all the hard work and elbow grease we put into making this space what it is." Solve the daily Crossword

WWE touts record-shattering performance of AAA Triplemania 33
On Saturday night (Aug. 16) in Mexico City, AAA ran their version of WrestleMania for the first time since WWE's purchase of the lucha libre promotion. Triplemania XXXIII streamed free on YouTube (and on three different channels: WWE's, WWE Espanol's, and AAA's), and featured several WWE talents on the card — with more making surprise appearances during the event. As they are wont to do even when they're not in 'wrestling war' mode, WWE sent out a press release the Monday after the show making much of Triplemania's impressive performance on several key business metrics. There's a word for that… it somehow escapes me right now. Extol? Acclaim? Gosh, I was way off. Daniel Bryan Danielson must be ashamed of me. Here's the presser, presented by Tout: Triplemania XXXIII shatters records for viewership, gate, merchandise and social engagement August 18, 2025 – TripleManía XXXIII, Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA's largest annual event, became the most-viewed and highest-grossing TripleManía in event history. Streamed globally on WWE and AAA's YouTube channels in Spanish and English, the broadcast has been watched by more than 4.3 million viewers in the first 24 hours and hit a peak live concurrent audience of 614,000. With a crowd of 19,691 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City this past Saturday, TripleManía marked the highest attendance for any Mexican lucha libre show this year and set AAA's all-time gate record. Additionally, the event broke records for the highest-ever merchandise sales in AAA history. On X, #Triplemania was the No.1 trending topic in the United States and Mexico on Saturday, and a record 208 million views were generated across official AAA and WWE social platforms. The record-breaking event was highlighted by El Hijo del Vikingo defeating Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano to retain the AAA Mega Championship, Pagano & Psycho Clown defeating Angel & Berto to win the AAA Tag Team Championship, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeating El Mesias to win the Latin American Championship, and more. WWE has acquired leading Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA in partnership with Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company, Fillip. Now go forth and Tout about it, if you so choose.
