Anne's milestone 75th birthday marked with new photograph
The King's sister, often hailed as the hardest-working member of the royal family, has eschewed any major public commemorations for her big day, preferring to host a special forum for her charities in June instead.

She is said to be spending the day sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and marking her birthday privately.
The official portrait, taken by celebrated photographer John Swannell last month, shows Anne wearing a clean-lined colour-blocked royal blue dress with a contrasting bright white high collar, matching cuffs and white buttoned central trim.
Anne, who is known for re-wearing her outfits even decades later, was pictured in the same dress at The King's Foundation Awards at St James's Palace in June.

The image captures a relaxed-looking Anne, with her hair self-styled in her signature bouffant, resting her hand on a stone windowsill at Gatcombe.
It was from the princess's Gloucestershire estate just over a year ago that Anne was taken to hospital after she was believed to have been struck by a horse.
She was treated in intensive care for concussion and minor head injuries, spending five nights at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

The princess, who was back on royal duties less than three weeks later, has said she has no memory of the incident but now views every day as a 'bonus'.
Last month the Royal Mint unveiled the first official UK coin to honour Anne, created in celebration of her birthday and lifetime of service.
Swannell was also tasked with taking the official photographs for Anne's 70th, and previously photographed Diana, Princess of Wales and her sons, the late Queen for her official diamond jubilee portrait in 2012, Sir Tony Blair, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Elton John.
Another image of Anne by photographer Chris Jackson was released last week showing the princess in a tiara and gown with Sir Tim on the night of the Windsor Castle state banquet for French President Emmanuel Macron.

Oasis fans pour into streets of Dublin ahead of historic Croke Park concert
Continuing their much-awaited reunion tour, Oasis hit Dublin on Saturday and Sunday night where 80,000 fans will pile into the city's Croke Park stadium to see the 90s icons in action Dublin City is 'buzzing' as Oasis return to Ireland for the first time in 16 years. Tens of thousands of the band's fans have descended on the Irish capital for the first of their two sold-out gigs at the country's largest stadium. Croke Park will host the Britpop icons this weekend, where they will perform for 80,000 music fans over the weekend. Just in time for the country's heatwave, revellers will bask in the sun, soundtracked by the 90s stars for the Irish leg of their reunion tour. Although they need no encouragement, concert-goers have been advised by health officials to wear their bucket hats to protect them from the sun. High UV levels are expected as Dublin enjoys warm and dry weather on Saturday and Sunday. It comes after Paul Weller reveals the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts. Marking the band's first gig in the country since 2009, the Dublin gigs will hold a special meaning for once-feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. The Mancunian brothers have spoken about their ties to Ireland through their Irish-born parents, Peggy and Thomas. Sarah and Neil Charlton travelled from Southampton to see the band, after a determined search for standing tickets saw them clinching access in Dublin. The weather is fabulous and it's a brilliant venue.' The support acts for the Dublin dates are Richard Ashcroft from The Verve and Cast, formed by John Power after he left The La's. The setlist has crowd-pleasing hits such as Cigarettes And Alcohol and Wonderwall. Fans have also been treated to favourites including Acquiesce, Some Might Say and Morning Glory – before a Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova crescendo. Oasis announced their reunion tour in August last year, 16 years after their dramatic split in 2009, when Noel quit after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. The highly anticipated 41-date run has already seen the band play Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh.
