Amazon renews Fallout months before season 2's premiere
If you'll recall, the live adaptation was so well-received, Fallout 4 enjoyed a resurgence in sales nearly a decade after its release. Amazon also renewed the series for a second season just a few days after the first season debuted on its streaming service. Based on the video game franchise of the same name, Fallout is set 200 years into the future after an apocalyptic event. In the story, the humans who survived the apocalypse hid in luxury fallout shelters where their descendants remained for hundreds of years. The show follows Lucy as she leaves her shelter after an attack by outsiders to find her father who'd been kidnapped. Along the way, she meets more characters, including a squire from the Brotherhood of Steel and a ghoul bounty hunter.
Amazon has yet to reveal season 3's story, which doesn't come as a surprise, seeing as the second season has yet to drop. But season 2 will pick up from where the first one had left off and will take viewers from the Mojave wastelands to New Vegas.

Tom Hiddleston's ‘The Life Of Chuck' New On Streaming This Week, Report Says
Tom Hiddleston in "The Life of Chuck." Director Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck, starring Tom Hiddleston, is reportedly coming to digital streaming this week. After opening in limited release on June 6, The Life of Chuck — which is based on a short story by Stephen King — expanded to theaters nationwide on June 13. Released by indie studio NEON, the film's summary reads, 'From the hearts and minds of Stephen King and Mike Flanagan comes The Life of Chuck, the extraordinary story of an ordinary man. This unforgettable, genre-bending tale celebrates the life of Charles 'Chuck' Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us.' Rated R, The Life of Chuck is expected to be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, July 29, When to Stream. While When to Stream is typically accurate with its streaming reports, the streaming tracker noted that Neon has not announced or confirmed the release date of the film and as such, it is subject to change. The Life of Chuck is currently listed on Prime Video for pre-order for $19.99, which is also the film's digital purchase price. Since PVOD rentals are typically $5 less than purchase prices, viewers can expect to rent The Life of Chuck for $14.99 for 48 hours. In addition to Prime Video, The Life of Chuck will also be available on such digital platforms as Apple TV, Fandango at Home and YouTube. Tom Hiddleston Says He Was 'Overwhelmingly Moved' By 'The Life Of Chuck' Screenplay In an interview with Men's Health published in mid-June, Tom Hiddleston said that he read Mike Flanagan's screenplay for The Life of Chuck in one sitting and that he was "overwhelmingly moved' by it. 'I understood what Mike's extraordinary screenplay and Stephen King's short story was trying to say, which is that every seemingly ordinary human life is magic,' the Loki star told Men's Health. 'And that inside the soul of every human being is an internal world of connections, both real and imagined, connections to people we love, to experiences we've shared, to memories we've made.' In addition to Hiddleston, The Life of Chuck also stars Jacob Tremblay, Benjamin Pajak and Cody Flanagan as the younger versions of Chuck. The film's cast also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mia Sara, Karen Gillan, Carl Lumbly, David Dastmalchian, Matthew Lillard, Harvey Guillén and Mark Hamill. The Life of Chuck is expected to be released on PVOD on Tuesday.

Countdown's Elliot Knight Breaks Down That Bell/Valwell Bait-and-Snitch: ‘His Eye Is on the Prize'
The following contains spoilers from the July 23 episode of , now streaming on Prime Video. Tensions are running high on Countdown, as lead after lead on slippery Volchek comes up empty — or, worse, steers Task Force Hurricane into a dead end because someone apparently is snitching on their next moves. More from TVLine Dexter: Resurrection's Michael C. Hall and Krysten Ritter Detail Killer Dinner Party, Dexter and Mia's Instant Connection - Watch Gen V Season 2 Trailer Reveals Ethan Slater's Casting, Starlight's Mission for Marie and a Chance Perdomo Tribute Save the Dates: Solar Opposites Swan Song, E! News Shuts Down and More That was the case this week, in Episode 7 (of 13), when the team's stealthy raid of a company that works with fissile materials turned up only a smug lawyer sitting inside a recently emptied warehouse. SAC Blythe (played by Eric Dane) was quick to call out the SWAT team leader for having a rat in his ranks, but for naught. Is there a mole in the midst? Adding to the paranoia was an earlier scene between FBI Special Agent Keyonte Bell (The Boys' Elliot Knight) and District Attorney Grayson Valwell (Merrick McCartha), the same ambitious politico who has been (unsuccessfully!) bugging Blythe to keep him apprised of each and every development. Valwell spoke of how he worked with Bell's father and, more pointedly, how Bell's father (ahem) knew what to do to get ahead. Valwell clearly was courting Bell to be his man on the inside. And one might not fault Bell for being susceptible to such an overture, given how stung he was when Blythe chided him for mocking a colleague's bad tip. Of all Hurricane members, Bell 'definitely has the most to prove, and I think he's the most focused on how he can prove himself,' portrayer Elliot Knight tells TVLine. But if Bell continues to struggle to impress his SAC, there could be the temptation to at least consider alternative paths up the professional ladder. 'This is a big deal to be a part of a task force like this, but I do think it's important to Bell that his eye is on the prize, and that is to rise up the ranks,' says Knight. 'My question, as Elliot, is why does it sting?' to get dinged by Blythe. 'Is it as simple as him wanting to be the director of the FBI one day? What else is at play?' Luckily, viewers did not have to wait until next week to find out if Bell took the bait. Because at episode's end — as part of a montage that also included Mark confiding his tumor sitch with Amber and Volchek leading some Belarusian adversaries into a brilliantly explosive trap — Bell met again with Valwell to assert his loyalty to Blythe & Co. and acknowledge that, yes, his father was many things that he isn't. 'Bell knows that Valwell had a professional relationship with his father, and Valwell speaks to that and almost floats the sense of power over Bell — 'I worked with your dad and he made the right choice, because he knew what to do,'' Knight notes. 'It's a test for Bell to see what he will do.' But did Bell pass said test by refusing to be a snitch? Or is he perhaps cunningly playing a long game? 'There's a question mark over what happened in the past' with his father, says Knight, and 'either Bell has committed to this sense of justice and that's what he's going to fight for always, or there's something else he's looking to work towards. 'I think the smart play is to always assume that there's a bigger picture in this world, than what's happening on the surface,' the actor teases. Want scoop on , or for any other TV show?
