It was a moment that caught the
WWE
Universe off guard, and one that might just mark the start of a major character shift in WWE. On the June 9 episode of WWE RAW, veteran superstar R-Truth made a shocking return and left fans emotional after cutting a heartfelt promo and literally cutting his hair in the middle of the ring, reintroducing himself as Ron Killings.
This dramatic development comes days after Killings publicly announced that WWE had decided not to renew his contract. However, after an outpouring of support from fans and fellow wrestlers, TKO seemingly reversed the decision. Killings made a surprise appearance at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, attacking
John Cena
and playing a pivotal role in Cena's tag team loss alongside
Logan Paul
.
A powerful promo that changed everything
But the most powerful moment came on RAW.
Dressed in all black with a mask, Killings appeared during the show and climbed onto the commentary desk. As the crowd watched in suspense, he removed his mask, grabbed a mic, and delivered an emotional monologue. 'We all love R-Truth. I love R-Truth too,' he began. 'But R-Truth can be too funny… too forgiving. Not me. I feel different. I feel alive.'
He then stunned the Phoenix crowd, and viewers around the world - by pulling out a pair of scissors and cutting off his own hair. The crowd erupted in chants of 'Holy s**t' as Killings declared, 'The truth has set me free. I am Ron Killings! The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Now put some respect on my name!'
Killings, who once wrestled under the same name during his tenure in TNA Wrestling, seems poised to leave behind the comedic antics of his R-Truth persona in favour of a more intense and serious character arc.

While WWE is yet to confirm his direction moving forward, fan reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.
WWE's tweet featuring the moment quickly went viral, with fans and wrestlers alike praising the emotional depth of the promo. Former WWE Champion Big E tweeted, 'What an incredible segment. Cannot wait to see what @RonKillings does on this run.'
With SummerSlam approaching and speculation already swirling, Killings' return could signal the beginning of a new main-event push. Whether this transformation sticks or leads to something even bigger, one thing is clear - the WWE Universe is ready to take Ron Killings seriously.

Here's what Kamala Harris did to shut out negativity post 2024 election loss against Trump

Kamala Harris, long known as a self-described foodie, is no stranger to the comforting power of a good meal. After losing the 2024 presidential election to Donald Trump, Harris found herself overwhelmed by a wave of negativity. Instead of diving back into the news cycle, she turned to cooking shows for escape. Harris on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Kamala Harris appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for her first televised interview since the election loss. Colbert commented, 'First of all, you look rested.' Harris joked that she was, and after asking about Colbert himself, she discussed how she managed the aftermath of her defeat. When asked, 'How long before you turned on the news again?' Harris replied: 'Months, Months, I, you know, I'm just not into self‑mutilation, and I just, I, yeah, lots of cooking shows.' She added that 'The Kitchen', a cooking show where hosts prepare simple dinners, play trivia, and share meal tips, is 'one of my favorites.' Cooking as comfort and control For Kamala Harris, the kitchen isn't just a place for food, it's where she regains her sense of self. In the chaos that followed her 2024 election defeat, cooking offered her something rare: control. Back when she was crisscrossing the country as a senator, Harris once said, 'Everything else can be crazy, I can be on six planes in one week, and what makes me feel normal is making Sunday‑night family dinner.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like New Container Houses Cyprus (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search ads Search Now Undo That same instinct led her back to the stove after the loss, when she could barely bring herself to watch the news. Instead of spiraling, she turned to flavors, textures, and recipes. Her love for cooking traces back to her mother, Shyamala Gopalan, who told her early on, 'Kamala, you clearly like to eat good food. You better learn how to cook.' It stuck. Over the years, Harris built up a collection of cookbooks, favorites include Marcella Hazan and Alice Waters, and has even talked about writing one of her own someday. During the campaign trail, that passion showed up online. Her short series 'Cooking With Kamala' gave viewers a peek into her unpolished, everyday kitchen self. She chopped onions with practiced ease, cracked eggs one‑handed, and even swapped spice jar stories with Mindy Kaling while making masala dosa. From YouTube to the home kitchen During her 2020 campaign, Harris hosted a short YouTube series called 'Cooking With Kamala.' She confidently demonstrated cooking skills, like cracking an egg one-handed and slicing onions, earning praise even from chef Tom Colicchio. In one viral video, she and actress Mindy Kaling prepared masala dosa and discovered that both grew up storing spices in Taster's Choice jars. Her home kitchen reflects her passion: enamel skillets, a gas stove, and a crock full of cooking tools, signs of someone who cooks often and joyfully.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Predictions: All Superstars who can Win in Day 1

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso (Image Source: Getty) This weekend in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, WWE SummerSlam 2025 will kick off its historic two-night event. For the first time, the company's blockbuster summer show is being split over two days, a WrestleMania-style event. Day 1 establishes the mood for what is anticipated to be one of the all-time great SummerSlams and heated grudge matches. CM Punk eyes the World Heavyweight Championship The most anticipated match of the night, CM Punk challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk is the favorite to take home gold, having earned this spot by winning a gauntlet match earlier this month. And if he does win, it would pave the way for a coming showdown with a return-to-form Seth Rollins. For months, Gunther has been a powerhouse, but perhaps tonight is the night the reign ends. Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill could steal the show A confrontation of raw power and undeniable charisma, Jade Cargill challenges Tiffany Stratton for her Women's Championship. As one of the breakout stars of the year, Stratton hardly has an easy road, yet Cargill is being simultaneously booked to powerfully close the distance to hallowed ground. Stratton has the odds-on favorite to retain, but if WWE wants a change in the division, then Cargill can leave with the title. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso team up against the future Jey Uso joins Roman Reigns in returning to action in a tag team match against the intense pairing of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Breakker and Reed are the future of WWE, but the prevailing wisdom is that the chemistry and main-event experience of Reigns and Uso will give them the win. It should be all four superstars working hard for this one, but expect the veterans to get the win here. All predicted winners for Night One of SummerSlam 2025 Here are the top predictions for Night One outcomes: CM Punk to defeat Gunther and become the new World Heavyweight Champion Tiffany Stratton to retain her Women's Championship, though it could go either way Roman Reigns & Jey Uso to overcome Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Randy Orton & Jelly Roll to beat Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre in a celebrity-tag match Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss to win the Women's Tag Team Titles from Judgment Day Also Read: WWE SummerSlam 2025 Day 1 vs. Day 2: Which event day has more interesting matches?
