Liam Gallagher shares worrying Oasis admission as fans push for Noel answers

Liam Gallagher has given an update on the future of Oasis just days before the legendary rockers are due to hit the road for the first time since 2009
Liam Gallagher has dropped a huge hint about the future of Oasis. The legendary Manchester band are due to hit the road for the first time in 16 years next month and fans have been speculating over whether this is the last we will see of the brothers.
Noel, 58, and Liam, 52, had been at loggerheads ever since the band split in 2009 and were often caught in a war of words on social media and in interviews. But years before their split, an internal war is believed to have broken out between the warring siblings. Liam, 52, is said to have questioned the paternity of Noel's eldest daughter, Anaïs, 25, in May 2000.

But while many had hoped the two would put their differences aside, it was their mum Peggy Gallagher who was spearheading a possible reconciliation between the two siblings. Noel and Liam will take to the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4, and fans have been wondering if there will be a future for the band.

When asked by a fan if they can have more dates, ideally a string of shows at Knebworth playing to 125,000 people, Liam replied: "Let's see how this tour goes and if we still love each other after it."
When asked by the Mirror how rehearsals are going, Liam told us: "Dangerous." Meanwhile, videos have circulated on social media, with audio clips of the band apparently rehearsing the anthems Cigarettes & Alcohol and Fade Away. He told fans that it was his idea to have both songs on the setlist for the most anticipated tour.
Earlier this week, the two brothers were seen heading to rehearsals for the first time. While the pair arrived separately, they had two very different methods of transport to the top-secret location.
Liam was seen arriving in a chauffeur-driven van, surrounded by packets of Lockets and cough syrup to help his throat, while his older brother, Noel, took public transport and was seen on the District Line at Paddington station. A source told the Mirror: "It was extremely exciting having Noel and Liam in the same room. The excitement for the tour is off the charts."

But Liam has since told fans that they won't be able to meet him outside the studio and get a selfie. "You won't see me. I'm not a poser. I'll be in and out," he said.
Liam joined the rehearsals late, with Noel and guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell starting much earlier. Also joining the band are keyboard player Christian Madden and drummer Joey Waronker.
But while Liam has had themes on his solo tours, there won't be any at the Oasis gigs and will instead be focused solely on the biblical music. The band announced their reunion last year, almost 15 years to the day following their split.

Noel and Liam posed for several photos together, confirming the band's long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: "The great wait is over." After Cardiff, the band play Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before heading off on a world tour with dates in the US, Australia, Brazil and Japan.
Richard Ashcroft and Cast have been confirmed as support acts for the UK and Ireland gigs.

Liam Gallagher breaks silence on Oasis rehearsals as he sweetly gushes over Noel

Liam Gallagher has described Oasis' reunion tour rehearsals as 'spiritual'. The frontman, 52, spent this week playing in the same room as older brother Noel since the sessions began - the first time they have played together in 16 years. But unlike their younger days, when the Champagne Supernova rockers were known to party with Cigarettes & Alcohol, Liam revealed they are staying sober. Asked how rehearsals are going and what the mood is like, Liam said: 'Yesterday was spiritual. Very professional we're just ripping it up to ras. Were professionals no time for drinking.' Noel, who has been seen travelling to rehearsals on the tube, previously joined guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell for warm-up rehearsals without Liam. Liam, who arrived at the rehearsals by van and was seen with packets of Lockets and cough syrup, was also asked about Noel, 58, and how it feels to be back alongside him after so many years. The siblings famously fell out when the band split after they had a backstage fight at a festival in Paris in August 2009. But it appears Liam is determined to not look back in anger as they prepare for the start of the new tour in Cardiff on July 4, before moving on to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before further dates around the world. In an impromptu Q&A session on X, Liam added: 'Noel has been devine. Can't stop staring at him he might have to get a restraining order out on me can't help it.' Hundreds lodged complaints to Ticketmaster after so-called surge pricing saw entry costs soar past £350-per-person. Resale tickets are going for more than £1,000 each for the opening night. After more than 15 years apart, brothers Liam and Noel will reunite under the iconic Oasis banner for a globe‑spanning tour - marking their first live performances since the 2009 split. Kickstarting in July and running through November 2025, the tour features 41 stadium dates across five continents, selling out almost instantly following a frenzy of ticket demand. The tour kicks off on July 4th and 5th in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, before heading to Manchester's Heaton Park for five massive nights on July 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, and 20th. London's Wembley Stadium will host them on July 25th, 26th, and 30th, then again on August 2nd and 3rd, with two additional autumn shows added for September 27th and 28th due to overwhelming demand. Edinburgh joins the celebration with three dates at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8th, 9th, and 12th, while fans in Dublin will welcome the band back to Croke Park in mid-August, with dates still being finalised.

Only Fools and Horses fans asked to pay up to £500 plus VAT to meet David Jason

Those who pay the fee will be banned from taking their own selfies, asking for autographs or even giving gifts to Sir David Only Fools and Horses fans are being asked to pay up to £550 to spend 'a moment' with Sir David Jason. The Del Boy star, 85, will pose for a picture as part of the deal at a two-day convention at a hotel in Milton Keynes this October. But unlike his wide-boy character, fans will be unable to avoid VAT, as the venue is cashless, and there will be no money back and no guarantee for ticket holders if they suddenly can't make it. ‌ Those who do turn up will be banned from taking their own selfies, asking for autographs or even giving gifts to Sir David. A disgruntled fan last night said: 'Lets just say, I wouldn't describe it as lovely jubbly.' ‌ Details of the money-spinner emerged after Sir David griped last year how he was "slightly upset" at being best known for playing Derek Trotter. The offer comes 12 months after the Mirror reported how organisers of last year's convention were charging at least £325 for tickets to meet the star. A cheaper bronze package for this year's event is available for £100-a-person, which will not include the chance to meet Sir David. Buyers will be able to watch an on stage talk with the star and director Tony Dow and are promised an 'opportunity to meet other star guest actors' from the show. But if they want to get their autographs, further charges will apply. A silver package is being sold at £350, which will allow fans the chance to get one 8x6 picture, described as 'FREE', with Sir David. The £450 gold package offers the same perks, plus 'Ltd Edt Convention Montage personally signed by Sir David Jason (before the Convention and given to you upon arrival at Registration)', 'central seating location in the ballroom' and being 'amongst the first tables called up to meet David Jason'. ‌ Those who buy the £550 platinum ticket are further promised 'VIP Seating – front row table with unobstructed view!' and '1 x FREE ticket to the Saturday Night Karaoke (includes evening meal)'. Fans that do get to meet Sir David will do so in a mock-up of Del Boy's flat inside Mandela House. The website says: 'Eligible ticket holders will finally have their 'Moment with Sir David Jason', posing for a photograph in the Trotter Flat, as well as all attendees having the chance to meet the other guest actors and add their autograph to your collection! ‌ 'We kindly request no gifts are to be given to Sir David Jason as this will take up all of the allocated time for your photo. 'Due to time constraints, Sir David will not be signing any items across the Convention weekend. We kindly ask you do not bring anything to attempt Sir David to sign as it will not be permitted. We will have staff on call to ensure this in fairness to everyone.' 'There will be NO 'Selfies' at the event with Sir David Jason. Selfies are left to the discretion of the other guest actors, although most are very happy to pose for a photograph if asked politely. ‌ 'We do not charge for a 'selfie'! Crew Members will be sat with each actor and happy to assist with the taking of your photo. If your ticket(s) do not include a signed photo / mount, ticket holders are able to purchase a signed Convention Photo / Mount subject to availability across the weekend. "There are no in person autograph opportunities across the weekend with Sir David Jason. The convention's website adds: 'We are delighted to return with the Karaoke on the Saturday Night. It will commence around 7pm and finish by 12pm (midnight). 'Purchasing a Karaoke ticket includes entry to the karaoke and an evening meal (hot buffet selection chosen by the venue). You must ensure that you are attending the Convention on either day to be able to attend the Karaoke. 'NO SELFIES / AUTOGRAPHS will be signed by any actors who attend the Karaoke – please allow them to enjoy their evening. Other guest actors in attendance WILL be signing any items of your choice including Props and Van Doors.'

Ronnie O'Sullivan and former fiancee Laila Rouass agree deal to seal clean break

The snooker icon, 49, is now understood to be planning to quit the UK and move to the Middle East where he has a snooker academy Ronnie O'Sullivan and Laila Rouass have agreed a deal to sell their former home, as they prepare for a clean break. The former couple, who announced in December they had split after an on-off 12-year relationship, put the five-bed home up for sale for £2million earlier this year. A source told the Mirror: "The property has now been sold, subject to contract." ‌ Seven-time world snooker champ Ronnie, 49, and former EastEnders and Footballers Wives actress Laila, 53, jointly bought the house, in Woodford Green, east London, for £1.35million in June 2018. The dad-of-three is now understood to be planning to quit the UK and move to the Middle East where he has a snooker academy. ‌ Speaking after being knocked out of the World Snooker Championship, which ended last month, Ronnie admitted: "There's going to be a few changes in my life. I think I'm going to be moving out of the UK. "I'm going to start a new life somewhere else. I'll still try to play snooker, but I don't know what the future looks like for me, really. "Am I not playing again? I'm not saying anything. I've said it so many times. I'm not saying anything other than I'm moving away soon. There's a lot more important things in life to worry about than a game of snooker." Ronnie and Laila, who got engaged in 2013 but never married, first got together in 2012 after she was shown around a previous house of his while she was property hunting. He later asked her out via the estate agent, who was a pal of hers. Their relationship was rocked by claims Ronnie's mum Maria had called Laila "a prostitute" and the couple initially split in February 2022. They reconciled just months later, but then parted ways again last year. ‌ Laila confirmed she and Ronnie had decided to split for good following months of speculation after she was seen without her engagement ring during an appearance on This Morning in August last year. She later wrote on Instagram: "Break ups can strip you down to your essence. "I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control because no matter what, we will lose parts of ourselves in relationships. It's normal, don't beat yourself up. "One thing I'm conscious of not doing is trying to get back where I was. No, I'm discovering who I've become. I've gone through various emotions... hurt, pain, anger, but what I've realised about anger is that it's bottomless. "The thing about break ups... It doesn't have to be a sad time. It doesn't have to be hard. It can be the beginning of new adventures, new learnings. "It can be a wonderful teacher. Using self-compassion and manifesting a new life without someone you love can still lead you to a place of joy."
