Asked if he's 'seriously not nervous' about it, he said: 'No, coz I've prepared like a CHAMPION.'
To another, he added: 'We wouldn't be doing it if we sounded s**t.'
And he couldn't help but have a playful dig at his big brother.
After one fan posted a dream setlist ending with Don't Look Back In Anger, on which Noel sings lead vocals, another commented: 'Not a chance Liam isn't closing the gig.'

Liam replied: 'Exactly . . . He is the boss but he's not f***ing stupid.'
Clearly he still sees himself as the main attraction, even after all this time.

It comes after the Duke's behaviour was panned in Andrew Lownie's book Entitled — and nine months after he was banned from Christmas at Sandringham amid links to an alleged Chinese spy. An insider said: 'The Balmoral invitation is a huge show of support.' Prince William and Kate and their three children are also due to attend, along with Prince Edward and wife Sophie and their two kids. The summer break at the Scottish estate is the only time except at Christmas that the entire Royal Family get together. Charles and Queen Camilla, there for the next three weeks, will also be visited by PM Sir Keir Starmer next month. Noel Gallagher parties with celeb pals at Dublin pub after Oasis Croker mania but Liam no-show as bash details emerge
OASIS wrapped up their two-night run in Croke Park with a star-studded after-party for 200 guests in famous Dublin traditional pub O'Donoghues - but there was no sign of Liam. Noel Gallagher knocked back pints of Guinness in the renowned Baggott Street boozer as a number of his celeb pals joined him and other members of the band to celebrate the end of their long-awaited UK and Ireland run of gigs. 9 Noel Gallagher knocked back pints of Guinness in O'Donoghues after the second gig Credit: Social Media Collect 9 Oasis wrapped up their two-night run in Croke Park with a star-studded after-party Credit: PR Handout 9 Liam was not spotted at the party Credit: PR Handout U2 icon Bono was driven to the party later, where he was joined by another famous Dublin singer Imelda May, fashion designer and model Jasmine Guinness, and Wire and The Crown actor Dominic West, who was seen attending the Croker gig earlier in the evening with his two sons. Verve legend Richard Ashcroft, who had supported the band on the tour, was seen going in to the south Dublin watering hole, as was Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and other band members Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Joey Waronker. Noel's daughter Anais and Liam's son Gene Gallagher, who had joined their famous dads in Dublin for the past few days, were also in attendance as the pints flowed for the A-list guests. Liam avoided the party, with one source telling us he was off the booze, although during the concert earlier in the evening he told the 80,000 Mad For It fans: "This is the soberest I've ever been in Ireland. I'm going to change that tonight." O'Donoghues closed to the public at 9pm, with staff who usually start their late shift at 5pm told not to come in until 7pm. A fleet of blacked-out cars drove guests to the party before 11pm after the curtain came down on the history-making shows at 10.20pm as a spectacular fireworks display lit up the skies above Dublin's north inner city. Hundreds of excited fans then gathered outside O'Donoghues as they tried to get a glimpse of the stars going into the pub, while private security guards kept the public back with excitement levels reaching fever pitch when Noel emerged from a car. A source told the Irish Sun: 'Staff in O'Donoghues would usually start their late shifts at 5pm but they were told not to come in until 7pm, so at that point they guessed there was something happening alright. 'The pub closed to the public at 9pm and a private party for 200 guests was held. Noel was there enjoying a few pints of Guinness. Liam was not there because he's supposed to be off the drink. 'Crowds gathered outside the pub but they couldn't get near anyone but everyone had their phones out when Noel arrived. It went on to the early hours. Just a great night of drink and music. Oasis lights up Dublin sky 'The Gallaghers know O'Donoghues well and have both been in it a few times so it was an obvious choice to have their after-party, but Liam must really be a changed man not to turn up for a traditional Irish knees-up.' Noel was later driven back to Carton House where he has been staying and had been spotted drinking in nearby Brady's pub in Maynooth, Co Kildare on Friday. Liam has reportedly been staying in Powerscourt Hotel in Co Wicklow. TRIP TO MAYO? It had been suggested that the lads might take the time to visit relations in Charlestown, Co Mayo, where their mother Peggy, 82, is from. She attended Saturday night's concert in Croke Park and on both nights Liam dedicated Stand By Me to her. Ireland West Airport set the rumour mill in motion today when they shared a clip of a black, private jet seemingly arriving, posting on X: 'Nice private jet just arrived in from Dublin this morning." The post led fans to believe the brothers had headed for Mayo. Local Publican John Finan, who owns JJ Finan's pub, said last week: 'We don't open on Mondays or Tuesdays, but if I thought they were around I'd open up for them. 'They are two lovely lads. They have been very good to me.' 'JUST A RUMOUR' But when the Irish Sun contacted the adjoining Finan's Hardware Store today we were told: 'It was just a rumour. They're not coming to Mayo. They've gone back to London.' The Gallaghers will have a few days off before they head for North America for a string of dates in Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City. They'll return to London for two nights at Wembley at the end of September before they head to Asia. 'The Gallaghers know O'Donoghues well and have both been in it a few times so it was an obvious choice to have their after-party, but Liam must really be a changed man not to turn up for a traditional Irish knees-up.' Irish Sun source Meanwhile, the record-breaking concerts in Croke Park over the weekend will be remembered for a very long time as Oasis rolled back the years to the delight of a delirious and emotional 160,000-strong crowd over the two days. An impressive selection of celebs were spotted singing their hearts out for two legendary performances which will live long in the memory. Tanaiste Simon Harris ditched his clean cut suits for a bucket hat and sports jacket as he shared photos of himself jamming out at the gig. The Fine Gael leader told fans on social media it was 'an incredible gig with a magical atmosphere'. CELEBS SPOTTED Bono's rockstar son, Elijah Hewson, was also in attendance alongside Noel Gallagher's daughter, Anais, after the pair became friends through the friendship between their dads. The Inhaler frontman was filmed shouting out the lyrics to the hit opening tune Hello beside his bandmates. Newlywed Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson and her DJ hubby Denis Sulta, who tied the knot last week, were ecstatic as they arrived to the show. The couple posted selfies of themselves beaming as they watched the Gallagher brothers belt out their biggest hits. FAMOUS FACES Love/Hate and Game of Thrones actor Aidan Gillen attended Sunday night with his partner Camille O'Sullivan, while Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie, who earlier performed a DJ set in Dalymount Park, was photographed with renowned Irish writer and musician BP Fallon. TV presenter Laura Whitmore was seen going in a VIP entrance with her husband, Scottish comedian Iain Stirling, while Manchester boxing legend Ricky Hatton was seen wearing a black bucket hat for the show. Dancing With The Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian and his Virgin Media host hubby Brian Dowling 'made memories for life' as they watched the gig with their pals. RTE 2FM presenter Lottie Ryan posted clips of herself and her hubby Fabio screaming out the words to Champagne Supernova in the crowd. 'IN HIS ELEMENT' Lottie gushed that Fabio was 'in his element' as she passionately sang the chorus with 80,000 fans. Fellow RTE star Baz Ashmawy returned for round two of Oasis mania - but this time he had a special plus-one. TV's favourite architect Dermot Bannon shared snippets from the concert on Instagram. The presenter, who had already caught the band earlier in their tour, brought his daughter along to Croke Park for the sold-out Sunday show. 9 Laura Whitmore was seen going in a VIP entrance with her husband Iain Stirling Credit: Mark Doyle 9 Actor Aidan Gillen attended Sunday with his partner Camille O'Sullivan Credit: Mark Doyle 9 Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie was photographed with writer and musician BP Fallon Credit: Mark Doyle Bannon swapped blueprints for bucket hats as he enjoyed the legendary band's set with the rest of the roaring stadium. Former Ireland AM host Anna Daly made sure to get into the Oasis spirit, arriving at Croke Park with a big gang of pals for the second night. The TV presenter and her friends fully embraced the nostalgia, kitting themselves out in retro bucket hats as they belted along to the Gallaghers' greatest hits. And TikTok sensation Eric Roberts had a legendary night out with his dad at the gig as they both wore Adidas outfits. 'YOU COULDN'T BEAT IT' Eric wrote: 'Oasis with Dad you couldn't beat it.' About 3,000 fans who couldn't get tickets gathered outside Croke Park to listen to the music on Sunday night with a video of them swaying to iconic Royle Family theme tune Half the World Away and bouncing to Definitely Maybe stomper Cigarettes And Alcohol. There have been rumours of an Oasis European tour being in the pipeline in 2026, which might includes dates at Knebworth, 30 years exactly after the band played to 250,000 fans over two nights at the iconic venue. Irish fans will be praying Liam and Noel return to these shores in 2026 if they do line up more shows on this side of the world. 9 Dominic West attended with his two sons, Senan and Frank Credit: Mark Doyle 9 Ricky Hatton was seen wearing a black bucket hat for the show Credit: Mark Doyle
