Huma Qureshi Plays 'Hitwoman' In Baby Do Die Do, Saqib Saleem Drops Teaser On Her Birthday
Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem have launched their production house, Saleem Siblings, with Baby Do Die Do as their maiden project.
Huma Qureshi is celebrating her birthday today, and on this occasion, her brother Saqib Saleem dropped the teaser of 'Baby Do Die Do'. The film marks the maiden project under their newly launched production house, Saleem Siblings. Saqib has now shared the teaser of the neo-noir comedy 'Baby Do Die Do,' which stars Huma Qureshi, Chunky Panday and Sikandar Kher. Along with the teaser, Saqib penned a heartfelt note for his sister, in which he praised her acting, and wrote that he is in awe of her.
The teaser of Baby Do Die Do introduces Huma Qureshi as Baby Karmarkar — touted as the first desi female assassin. The teaser opens with a glimpse of Huma's character standing inside a parking lot. A tense exchange follows between two men discussing Baby, who has disappeared. Huma is then shown wielding a rifle, aiming fiercely, establishing her deadly persona. In one scene, Huma is seen aboard a train when someone calls her a 'female hitman,' only to be corrected with 'female hitwoman,' revealing her role in the film.

In his caption, Saqib Saleem wrote, 'Huma, It's your birthday today…and somehow the universe decided this is the day the whole world finally sees the Baby Do Die Do Teaser (Yes yes, we dropped a sneaky link before… but not everybody was lucky enough to get it ) This time, it's out there. Big screen. Big scale. Big risk. And you're right at the center of it owning every frame. I've seen you live this role. Through the madness, the silence, the chaos you didn't just act in this film…you became it. As a producer, I know what it took to pull this off. But as your brother…I'm just standing here in awe. Happy Birthday, Huma. You've never needed noise to make an impact. And today the whole world's watching. Proud of you. Always. Love Saqib".
Baby Do Die Do is a dark comedy blends satire and emotional chaos, and Huma plays a character that walks the tightrope between relatable and outrageous. The film promises to showcase her flair for unconventional storytelling and complex roles.
