She's a trusted name in health and nutrition.
And today, Sarah Di Lorenzo is sharing healthy winter desserts that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Sarah will show three classic recipes today: Banoffee pie; Mini apple crumbled baked in whole apples; Brownie in a cup.
They're all easy and delicious and low in sugar while also high in protein to keep you full.
Recipe below:
Baked Apple Crumbles
6 medium sized apples
½ cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons almond flour
¼ cup chopped pecans
½ cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon allspice
Pinch of slat
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Serve with Greek yoghurt and maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees c.
Remove the core of each apple with a knife cut a bowl shape inside each apple about two thirds of the way down.
In a medium bowl, stir together the rolled oats, flour, pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, salt, and melted butter. Spoon the filling into the apples.
Put the apples in a baking dish. Boil some water. Cover the bottom of the dish with the boiling water, around 1/2 cm high.
Bake for 25 minutes, then cover with foil (as not to burn). Then bake for a further 10 minutes
Drizzle each apple with maple syrup and serve with greek yoghurt.
Optional - My dessert twist on greek yoghurt is to add a dash of vanilla extract and a dash of maple syrup for extra deliciousness.
Cute brownie in a mug for one
Serves 1
¼ cup oat flour
3 tablespoons almond milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon almond butter
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon stevia
pinch of salt
pinch of baking powder
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Add all the ingredients to a mug and mix well. This needs to bake in the oven for about 12 minutes, but you can do this in the microwave for 60 seconds. Depending on your microwave, you may need to cook further, so try an extra 20 seconds if it's not cooked enough.
Sarah's Twist on Banoffee Pie
Ingredients
For the base
300g oat flour ( this is 3 cups of rolled oats blitzed)
25g coconut sugar
Pinch of salt
140g butter
For the banana layer
3 bananas sliced
For the date caramel
300g Medjool dates (this is around 15 dates)
2 tbsp peanut butter
Pinch tsp salt
100ml milk of choice
For the topping
2 cups of Greek yoghurt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of maple syrup
Optional topping
Dark chocolate shavings
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Remove the seeds from the dates and then place them in hot water for 30 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In a bowl combine the oat flour, coconut sugar and salt in a large bowl. Rub the butter into the flour and roll into a dough like texture.
Press the dough into a 23cm loose base tart tin and make sure you go up the sides as well. Prick the base a few times with a fork and bake for 20 minutes. Leave to cool - this is an important step.
Add the peanut butter, milk, salt and dates to a food processor and blend well.
Combine the Greek yoghurt with the maple syrup and vanilla in a bowl.
Once the base is completely cooled add the date mix, next the sliced banana and over the top the Greek yoghurt.
Dark chocolate shavings are the perfect garnish.

Kiwi foodie sensation Sarah Tuck shares her perfect easy winter meals that will be a winner in your household

Sarah Tuck is a New Zealand based food and recipe blogger. Today, Sarah will be making: easy-bake chicken and leek risotto, and baked carrots and parsnips with whipped ricotta and hot honey. Recipe below: Baked Chicken and Leek Risotto (gf) This oven-baked risotto combines tender chicken, sweet leeks and fragrant tarragon in a creamy, lemon-scented rice. With no need for constant stirring, it's a fuss-free take on the classic and an easy dinner for any night of the week. 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 20 grams butter 400 grams chicken thighs, sliced into 1cm strips sea salt and ground pepper 1 small leek, thinly sliced 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1½ teaspoons dried tarragon ½ cup risotto rice 1¾ cups chicken stock (I used a stock pot) 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest ½ cup grated parmesan cheese, plus extra to serve ½ cup toasted sliced almonds, to serve Method Preheat the oven to 160°C fan bake. Heat the oil and butter in a medium ovenproof frying pan. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook until lightly golden. (It doesn't need to be fully cooked.) Take out with a slotted spoon and set aside. Add the leek, garlic and tarragon along with 2–3 tablespoons of water to lift all the sticky bits off the base of the pan. Season well with salt and pepper, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in the rice then the stock and zest and season with salt and pepper. Put the chicken and any juices on top then scatter over the parmesan. Bake, uncovered, for 25–30 minutes until the rice is just cooked and the liquid has been absorbed. TO SERVE: Scatter over the almonds and top with a grating of parmesan and a grind of pepper. SERVES 2 COOK'S NOTE: If you don't have a suitable ovenproof frying pan, cook the recipe then tip into a shallow ovenproof casserole dish and scatter over the parmesan before baking. Roasty Baby Carrot, Parsnip and Red Onion on Whipped Ricotta (gf) (v) This pretty-as-a-picture dish makes for the perfect side for almost any roasted or grilled meat. 9 baby carrots, halved lengthways 4 medium parsnips, halved lengthways 1 large red onion, halved and cut into wedges 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1½ teaspoons cumin seeds sea salt and ground pepper Whipped Ricotta 500 grams ricotta cheese 1 tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon sea salt Chilli Honey 125ml runny honey 1 teaspoon chilli flakes To serve 2/3 cup toasted walnut pieces Preheat the oven to 190°C fan bake. Put the carrots, parsnips, red onion, oil and cumin seeds in a roasting dish. Toss to coat everything, season with salt and pepper and spread out into a single layer Roast for 10 minutes, toss again, and roast for a further 15–20 minutes until golden and cooked through. Whipped Ricotta: Put the ricotta, honey and salt in a food processor and whiz until the mixture is smooth, about 1 minute. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Chilli Honey: Put the honey and chilli flakes in a microwave-safe jug and heat for 15 seconds, just to warm through. Pour into a container and store covered for up to a week.

Julie Goodwin shares her easy and delicious dinner

Julie Goodwin is one of the biggest culinary stars on TV. Today, she is making sweet curry braised lamb chops. Recipe below: Sweet curry braised lamb chops SERVES: 4 PREP & COOK TIME: 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES ½ teaspoon fine salt ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper ¼ cup (30g) curry powder ¼ cup (35g) plain flour 4 (1kg) large lamb forequarter chops, excess fat trimmed ¼ cup (60ml) olive oil 1 large (300g) brown onion, diced 1 large (150g) carrot, peeled, halved lengthways and cut into 1cm thick slices 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 cup (250ml) beef stock ½ x 400ml can chopped or crushed tomatoes ½ cup (140g) Greek yoghurt, plus extra for serving ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar basmati rice, large pappadums, parsley leaves, for serving Method 1 Preheat the oven to 140°C fan-forced. 2 In a large shallow bowl or dinner plate, combine the salt, pepper and curry powder into the flour. Press each chop into the mixture and shake to remove excess flour. Reserve any extra flour mixture. 3 In a large, oven-proof frypan over medium-high heat, add half the olive oil and brown the lamb chops. Remove from the pan and set aside. 4 Add the onion, carrot and garlic to the pan and sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant. 5 Sprinkle the reserved flour over the onion mixture and stir until combined. Gradually add the stock, stirring, until combined. Add the tomatoes, yoghurt and brown sugar and stir to combine well. Return the chops to the pan and coat them in the sauce. Place a lid on the pan or tightly cover with foil. Bake for 1¾–2 hours or until the lamb is very tender. 6 If the chops were very fatty, you may need to spoon some of the oil off the top of the pan before serving. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with cooked basmati rice, pappadams and yoghurt.
