Jelly Roll, 40, reveals his new goal weight... after losing 200lbs
Jelly Roll opened up about his weight loss journey and his new goal after losing nearly 200lbs.
The 40-year-old country star explained that he wanted to continue shedding pounds so he could partake in high-risk activities, like skydiving and riding a rollercoaster.
During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday evening, he told the late night talk show host that he needed to reach a certain number to be able to 'do all the fun stuff in life' — such as 'riding a bull' or 'wrestling an alligator.'
He previously revealed he weighted over 540 pounds when he embarked on his health and fitness journey three years ago.
The Wild Ones singer, born Jason DeFord, began by explaining to 'the non-fluffy people in the world.
'I would give y'all some educational course here,' he said. 'To do all the fun stuff in life, you've got to be under 250.'

The Nashville native — who gave a glimpse into his grueling fitness regimen earlier this month — continued: 'I want to skydive. I want to ride a rollercoaster. I want to ride a bull.
'I know it sounds crazy,' he added. 'I want to wrestle an alligator. I've got a list of things that I want to do.'
In response to the rapper revealing his motivation for shedding pounds, Kimmel expressed surprise.
'So let me get this straight — you do all this hard work and you have all this discipline losing all this weight, and then you want to do something that will potentially kill you?'
Jelly Roll quipped: 'Ain't that great? Listen, I was waiting on the heart disease to do it so I might as well get it off and run straight into it the other way.'
Then, the talk show host joked back: 'Have you ever considered wrestling the alligator while you skydive?'
Jelly Roll replied, 'That'll be my plus-one.'
The award-winning musician then shared insight on how he managed to lose over 200 pounds with a simple but consistent regimen.

'Dude, listen. I've been thinking about ways to make it sound cool, but I can't,' he said.
'I'm eating a lot of protein and vegetables and walking. That's what I'm doing.'
This comes shortly after he revealed he went from 540lbs down to 357lbs amid his health and fitness journey.
Last year, he was training to run a 5K and shared his goal of losing 100 pounds. 'I've been really kicking a**, man,' he told People in April 2024.
'I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week.' He continued: 'I'm doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in the cold plunge every day. I'm eating healthy right now.'
The singer added: 'I feel really good. I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something [pounds]. If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like by the time I go on tour.'
Earlier this month, he revealed he reached his goal of losing 100 pounds during an event in Pittsburgh.
The star — who is married to Bunnie XO, who is also on her own weight loss journey — said in a candid interview: 'I'm gonna lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!'

In addition to reaching 250 pounds, Jelly Roll also shared another one of his goals he hopes to achieve by next year.
During a December 2024 appearance on his wife's Dumb Blonde Podcast, he said he wants to cover Men's Health magazine.
'I wanna be on the cover of Men's Health by March of 2026,' he shared. 'That's my new goal. I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.'
He added that he was 'so glad' to be having the discussion in front of an audience.
'I did this publicly for a reason. I wanna be honest about my struggles with it with people.'
The hitmaker explained about body image and fame: 'I think that people that become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they're kind of ashamed. They're so ashamed that they go hide and lose the weight.
'And then they come back out [and] they don't really know how to interact with the world looking different or feeling different, and they kinda gotta find their whole new way.'
He continued: 'I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it.'

Who Killed Tom King in classic Emmerdale? The 2006/7 whodunnit explained
The Who Killed Tom King? Emmerdale storyline is an absolute classic in soapland. The whodunnit, which aired over 2006 and 2007, aired again recently thanks to old episodes of the show being broadcasted on ITV3. It was also mentioned just a few weeks ago, when Jimmy King (Nick Miles) reflected on the death of his father while at a birthday party at Home Farm. If you missed the story when it first aired, or you want to find out more before the killer is revealed in the classic instalments, think of this as a handy guide for everything you need to know about the plot. In December 2006, on the day of his wedding to Rosemary Sinclair, Tom King (Ken Farrington) was pushed out of a window at Home Farm. The businessman was a multi-millionaire and arrived in Emmerdale back in 2004. He quickly made many enemies in the Dales, thanks to his family's history of being cunning entrepreneurs. The character died after breaking his neck, with suspects in the murder inquiry including Jimmy, Matthew, Carl, Grayson and Chas. It was revealed months later that Tom's son Carl was the one to push him. He committed the crime after finding out that Tom had paid Chas to stay away from him. Known for his manipulative and ruthless behaviour, Carl King was killed during the show's live instalment in 2012. He was murdered by Cameron Murray, who hit Carl over the head with a brick. Carl is also the father of Tom King (James Chase), who was recently sent to prison for abusing Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper). Jimmy reflected on his father's demise earlier this year, when he attended Lydia Dingle's (Karen Blick) birthday party at Home Farm. More Trending The event descended into disaster though when someone pushed Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) out of a window. In the initial aftermath, Jimmy was stunned to learn a resident had committed the same crime as his brother. It was later revealed that Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) pushed Joe, shortly after she learnt about his threats to Clemmie (Mabel Addison). View More » The storyline also saw the return of DS Vikesh Dasari (Stephen Rahman-Hughes), the detective who also investigated Tom's fall back in the day. Resurfaced video shows Sean 'Diddy' Combs inviting 13-year-old to after party
A chilling video clip shows the moment a laughing Sean 'Diddy' Combs invites a 13 year old actress to an afterparty he's throwing in 2003. The footage captures Combs extending an invitation to Daveigh Chase, star of The Ring, to join him at an MTV event party, following her award presentation on stage. Combs, who has been held in jail since his high-profile arrest in September 2024, is currently on trial in New York. The music mogul has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. In the resurfaced clip, Combs asks Daveigh Chase: "Are you coming to the after party tonight?" Combs was at the VMAs alongside Ashton Kutcher to present the 'Best Villain' award, which Chase won. This old clip has re-emerged amidst separate and shocking allegations from an individual claiming she was raped by Combs and another unnamed celebrity at a VMA afterparty three years earlier, when she was just 13. Chase has not made any comment regarding the resurfaced video and there's no evidence suggesting anything inappropriate occurred at the 2003 afterparty. Combs was seen encouraging Chase on stage as she delivered her acceptance speech for her win in the 'Best Villain' category. She bagged the award for her performance in The Ring. She was later snapped alongside Combs and Kutcher at the VH1 Big In '03 event. Over the weekend Combs' legal team called for a mistrial after the third week of his trial concluded. His lawyers make a fresh bid to halt the trial, citing "prosecutorial misconduct". In a letter addressed to Judge Arun Subramanian on Saturday, June 7, the defence claims "the government has presented testimony that it knew or should have known was materially false related to its allegation that Mr. Combs dangled Bryana Bongolan from the balcony of Cassie Ventura's apartment in September 2016." According to PEOPLE, who obtained sight of the correspondence, it stated: "Accordingly, to avoid an unfair conviction in this case the Court should grant a mistrial." The defence team for the Bad Boy Records founder also challenged the credibility of testimony from his former partner Cassie, who alleged she saw Combs dangle Bryana from a balcony. They argue her account is "demonstrably false", pointing to text messages that suggest she only heard about the incident later. The letter further contends: "The incident, as alleged, is disturbing and powerful evidence, and the government has used it to depict Mr. Combs in an extremely negative light, as an angry and dangerous man who terrified Ms. Ventura and her friends." The defence team argued that the prosecution presented photos of Bryana's alleged injuries from the incident, which were claimed to have been taken on 26 September 2016 in Los Angeles, despite "the government has long known" Combs was in New York City between 24-29 September that year. They also accused the prosecution of "repeatedly attempting to disrupt" their line of questioning when they tried to "expose the perjury upon cross-examination. "All of this was highly improper and exacerbated the harm caused by [...] the perjured testimony," the letter continued. "The balcony incident is just one example of prosecutorial misconduct during this trial."
