Rob Lowe reflects on how a generation of young actors became known as the Brat Pack in Andrew McCarthy's documentary "Brats."
Rob Lowe is giving a Hollywood bus tour guide a less than stellar job review.
The "West Wing" alum took to Instagram and posted a video April 15 of a tour guide announcing, "This is John Stamos" as he passed by. In the clip, Lowe walks up to the bus and asks the riders if they know who he is: "OK guys, am I John Stamos? Who am I?" as they loudly responded, "Rob Lowe!"
The "Brothers & Sisters" star told the tour guide, "Dude, you gotta get better at your job!" The guide replied that "it's about having fun, you know? I don't expect to run into people," telling Lowe, "Thank you for your cool energy, man."
Lowe and Stamos, both 61, rose to fame as actors in a series of buzzy roles in the 1980s and '90s. While Lowe starred in "The Outsiders," "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Wayne's World," Stamos found major success on "General Hospital" and, of course, "Full House."

Lowe asked his actor son John Owen "Johnny" Lowe, who frequently mocks his famous dad, in the post's caption: "@johnnylowe am I being Punk'd?" "The people have spoken," the younger Lowe, 29, said.
Turns out the tour guide may have been in on the joke: Johnny Lowe has long pasted Stamos' head over his dad's face in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts. On a 2023 episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," "Full House" alum Stamos proved that he's (kind of) a part of the family.

"Johnny, the bit about me being your dad — it's funny and people get a good kick out of it — but it's getting a bit old," Stamos jokingly said during a pre-recorded message that appeared. "I'm tired of explaining that, no, I'm not really his dad, I'm a better looking version.
"So, Drew, if it's okay with you, Johnny and I did a 23andMe test and I'd like to read the results live on your show and stop this madness," he said, before having an abrupt change of heart.

"You know, I don't need to prove anything," he told the father-son duo and Barrymore. "Good luck with the show, guys." Then, he passed the envelope, directing the recipient to "Burn this. Take it. Burn it!"

After he was accused of sexual assault and drug abuse by multiple people, the Newsboys singer spoke out on the allegations, which the accusers said took place between 2004 and 2014. "Recent reports of my reckless and destructive behavior, including drug and alcohol abuse and sexual activity are sadly, largely true," Tait wrote in a statement shared to his Instagram June 10. "For some two decades I used and abused cocaine, consumed far too much alcohol, and, at times, touched men in an unwanted sensual way." The four-time Grammy winner went on to say that he's taking full responsibility for the incidents described in the reports, which were first published by Christian media outlet The Roys Report on June 4. "I am ashamed of my life choices and actions, and make no excuses for them," Tait continued. "I will simply call it what God calls it—sin. I don't blame anyone or anything but myself. For one, he stepped away from Newsboys in January, leaving behind remaining members Jody Davis, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein and Adam Agee. "I did so to get help," Tait said of quitting the Christian rock group. "I was not healthy, physically or spiritually, and was tired of leading a double life. I spent six weeks at a treatment center in Utah, receiving help that may have saved my life from ultimate destruction." And while the former DC Talk frontman said he's been "clean and sober since," he admitted that he still has "lots of hard work" ahead of him, and he said he'll forever live with the shame of "living two distinctly different lives." As Tait put it, "I have hurt so many people in so many ways, and I will live with that shameful reality the rest of my life. Alex Cooper's alma mater responds after she accuses college soccer coach of sexual harassment
Days after Alex Cooper accused her former college soccer coach of sexual harassment, Boston University has responded. The host of the popular 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, who made the allegations in a two-part Hulu documentary that premiered Tuesday after screening Sunday at the Tribeca Film Festival, played Division I soccer at the university for three years, during which time Cooper claims coach Nancy Feldman made inappropriate comments about her body and sex life, engaged in controlling behavior and touched her thigh. 'Nancy Feldman was someone I trusted. Someone I believed in. Someone who was supposed to help me grow. Someone who was supposed to protect me,' Cooper wrote Thursday on Instagram. 'But instead she made my life a living hell and abused her power over me.' In the same post, Cooper said she reported the abuse to athletic director Drew Marrochello, who she said ignored her complaints. The university addressed the allegations in a statement obtained Thursday by People and other news outlets. 'Boston University has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We have a robust system of resources, support and staff dedicated to student wellbeing and a thorough reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office,' the statement reads. 'We encourage members of our community to report any concerns, and we remain committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment for all.' While Cooper's documentary began as a way to show behind-the-scenes footage of her 2023 Unwell Tour, a visit to Boston University — specifically the soccer field — brought her emotions back to the surface, she said in Tuesday's brief episode of 'Call Her Daddy' titled 'My College Soccer Trauma.' 'The minute I stepped on that field, I felt so small,' Cooper said. 'I felt like I was 18 years old again, completely powerless, with no voice.' Cooper said 'everything changed' when she discovered that other women had alleged similar experiences with Feldman. She decided that she needed to speak out after talking to one of the women. 'If a woman in my position, who has power and a platform, is still fearful, is still scared of speaking out about my own lived experience of sexual harassment, how the hell will any other woman feel safe and confident to come forward?' Cooper asked in the episode. Since 'Call Her Alex' premiered, TikTok user @sizzlinghotsarah shared her own experience with Feldman, alleging that the soccer coach harassed her for her sexuality. Cooper responded to the post, 'I'm sick I'm so sorry she did this to you. Reaching out to u privately.' Feldman retired in 2022, but Cooper claims the harassment continues under her successor. 'Call Her Alex' also traces her journey to becoming one of the top podcasters in the world. Featured in the documentary are Cooper's former co-host Sofia Franklyn, husband Matt Kaplan, lifelong friend Lauren McMullen, who is an executive producer on the podcast, and Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports — the previous home of 'Call Her Daddy.'
