Aubrey Anderson-Emmons is coming out for Pride Month.
The Modern Family star — known for playing Lily Tucker-Pritchett in the beloved sitcom — revealed she is bisexual in a video that paid homage to her character.
In the social media clip posted via Threads on Monday, June 16, Anderson-Emmons was seen lip-synching to an iconic scene from the ABC show, in which her character tells her TV dad, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sofía Vergara she's gay.
Throwing on a pair of sunglasses, the actress laughs at the camera as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (Vergara) tells a young Lily, 'You are Vietnamese,' to which Anderson-Emmons' character quips back, 'No, I'm not, I'm gay, I'm gay!'
Mitchell Pritchett (Ferguson) then interjects, 'Honey, no, you're not gay. You are just confused!'
Anderson-Emmons proudly wrote in text over the clip: 'people keep joking so much abt [sic] me being gay when I literally am (I'm bi).'
Her caption read, 'happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe #modernfamily #lily #pridemonth #bi #pride.'
Her fans immediately flocked to her comment section to sing her praises while also noting that her famous sitcom fathers — Ferguson's Mitchell and Eric Stonestreet's Cameron Tucker — would be proud of her.
'Omgggg cam and mitch would be so happy,' one person commented on the video.
'LMFAOOOO!!! Mitch and Cam are gonna be so proud!!!' added another. 'Like fathers like daughter,' shared a third. 'Perks of having gay dads,' a fourth commented.
Mitchell and Cam's marriage is one of the most celebrated same-sex unions on television in the 21st century, with the show taking home two GLAAD Media Awards during its 11-season run.
Anderson-Emmons joined Modern Family as Mitchell and Cam's adopted daughter in 2011 for the series' third season.
She replaced the original actresses, twins Ella and Jaden Hiller, who took turns as Lily during the first two seasons.
The sisters were recast after reportedly expressing they no longer wanted to act. Anderson-Emmons remained on the beloved sitcom until it ended in 2020.
Lily, Mitchell and Cam almost had their own spin-off, which would have followed the family after they left Los Angeles and headed to Missouri. Unfortunately for fans, the idea was axed.
'I don't think it's potential anymore,' Stonestreet shared about the killed spin-off in 2024.
'They had their chance. [Series co-creator] Chris Lloyd and a couple of the writers wrote a really great script that spun Jesse and I off in our life in Missouri, and they said, 'No.' They just said, 'We don't want to do it.''
Anderson-Emmons just celebrated her 18th birthday on June 6.
Following her stint on Modern Family, the actress starred in a short film called Tailwinds about a young female's love of aviation.
These days, the child star's passion is music.
Anderson-Emmons has been working on her own indie-pop tunes under the pseudonym Frances Anderson.
The actress-turned-singer released her first single Telephones and Traffic late last month.
Her newest song, Don't Forget Me, is set to be released on June 27.

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell walks the F1 The Movie red carpet with her racing boss husband

Geri Halliwell-Horner has returned her Formula 1 husband Christian to the grid – her Instagram one, rather than the motor racing grid. The Spice Girl beamed in photos alongside her Red Bull Racing boss beau as they walked the red carpet at the F1 The Movie premiere in New York's Time Square. Channelling Marilyn Monroe in her white halter-neck dress, Halliwell-Horner looked particularly happy to be snapped alongside the film's star, Brad Pitt. She also shared a photo of them chatting to Irish actress Kerry Condon, one of Pitt's co-stars in the blockbuster film which opens next week. Pitt earlier walked the red carpet with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, a couple of days after sharing a double-date dinner with another celebrity couple du jour, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid. The movie, executive-produced by Hollywood blockbuster king Jerry Bruckheimer – alongside Pitt and champion driver Lewis Hamilton – is expected to a global smash in the wake of the phenomenal success of the Netflix series Drive To Survive. The Horners made the rare appearance on each other's social media channels in the wake of a texting scandal which tested their marriage in March last year. Horner was cleared of any inappropriate behaviour involving a female colleague after an extensive external investigation. The last time the Spice Girl and author shared a photo of them together on her Instagram grid was six months ago, when she accompanied her husband to Buckingham Palace to receive his Commander of the British Empire honour. 'As a family, we are all incredibly proud of everything you have achieved in your 20 years at Red Bull Racing and I know the team feel the same,' she wrote at the time. 'You are a leader, an innovator and a pathfinder and this distinction is a reflection of your dedication and services to motorsport.' The singer turned author recently celebrated the success of her latest young adult novel Rosie Frost: Ice on Fire, which topped bestseller lists around the world. Her promotional tour for the book was hijacked by desperate speculation that the Spice Girls may be planning another reunion next year to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe.

Jason Isaacs confirms ‘very low' salary for The White Lotus

Despite being a big Hollywood star, the actor confirmed rumours that every member of the cast received the same wage for the third season of the TV show. Jason, who played Timothy Ratliff, told Vulture that the modest paycheck had no impact on his desire to join the cast. 'I didn't know that was public knowledge. That's absolutely true," he replied when asked to comment on rumours about the pay, which was considered small for such a popular show. 'Generally actors don't talk about pay in public because it's ridiculously disproportionate to what we do..."
