Ange Postecoglou confirms latest Tottenham injury blow ahead of Brentford trip
The defender was brought on for the returning Micky van de Ven in a pre-planned substitution on Thursday night as Spurs beat Elfsborg 3-0 to seal a top eight spot in the Europa League.
Still, such is the extent of the injury crisis at the club this season, Dragusin came off for Spurs not long after having made his introduction after appearing to jar his knee.
While Postecoglou is still unsure about the severity of Dragusin's injury, the Romania international will not be involved on Sunday.
'We let it settle down, obviously get some more information over the weekend,' he said.
'Obviously not available for this weekend at the moment, so we'll just have to see the extent of it. Hard to tell, it's a knee, there's always a concern for a knee injury, so we just don't know the extent of it.'
Djed Spence should return, however, while Sergio Reguilon has a chance to make the squad.
Van de Ven is fit again and Postecoglou could soon welcome other key players back into his team.
The Spurs boss confirmed all of Guglielmo Vicario, Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert could return within ten days, with Dominic Solanke and James Maddison slightly further behind.
Cristian Romero is back in Tottenham training but is not expected be rushed back into action.
'Vicario, Johnson, Destiny, Wilson are all slated in a week to ten days,' he added.
'Dom maybe another week behind. Madders is probably around the same time. Romero just a slower healer with him. It's one we're looking at on a week to week basis. We're just taking our time.'

Tottenham receive a major boost ahead of their UEFA Super Cup final clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
The absence of an important player from Paris Saint-Germain will help Tottenham. Getty Images The sports community is eagerly awaiting the final match between 2024-25 Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain and Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur. Prior to this crucial encounter, Tottenham received reports that 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was unlikely to feature in the final between the two teams. The Italian played a major role in helping the team reach the Champions League final last season, making outstanding saves against Arsenal, Aston Villa, and other matches. What is the reason for this absence of the Italian? The player faces numerous rumors about his future with Paris Saint-Germain, given that he only has one year left on his contract with the club. There are conflicting reports about his desire to leave and not renew his contract, while his name is receiving considerable attention from English clubs, most notably Manchester United. Manchester United have emerged as serious contenders for Gianluigi Donnarumma's signature, with Andre Onana struggling to cement his place since joining the club. The Red Devils' interest comes after Tottenham's Europa League triumph over them in May. Meanwhile, PSG appear to have proactively addressed their goalkeeping situation by securing Lille's rising star Lucas Chevalier in a €40 million deal. The 23-year-old shot-stopper has committed his future to the Parisian club until 2029 and could make his debut against Spurs. This move potentially paves the way for Donnarumma's departure from the French champions.

'Life is good' Harry Kane lifted his very first trophy in professional football with Bayern Munich. After 19 years at his boyhood club, Kane departed Tottenham in the summer of 2023. Received amidst much fanfare, he and his family began a new chapter at Bayern and in Munich. 'Life is good,' he smiled. 'It's been a great experience so far, I'm enjoying my time here, the family are enjoying it so yes, I'm looking forward to the season ahead. Tottenham continues to hold a place in Harry's heart Harry Kane went on explain his emotional connection to Spurs and the people involved in his phenomenal rise as a footballer. Obviously this is a journey that started at Tottenham from when I was 11 and took me to where I am now – I'm appreciative of everyone who has been involved in that journey and I'm thankful to the Tottenham fans as well, they've been a big part of it. With 62 goals in 63 games for Bayern Munich, it is safe to say that Kane has settled in spectacular fashion. With the first trophy out of the way, Harry Kane and Bayern Munich remain hungry for more.
