Jake Paul calls Piers Morgan offensive name during heated exchange on talk show

Jake Paul became furious when Piers Morgan suggested he might not win his upcoming boxing match against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and stormed off Piers Morgan Uncensored
Jake Paul stunned viewers by calling Piers Morgan a "fat a**" during a heated appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, before abruptly ending the interview.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer joined Morgan's show to promote his upcoming fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. this Saturday. The conversation started off on friendly terms when Paul made a joke about the large sombrero he turned up for the interview wearing, saying: "I'm the greatest Mexican fighter of all time, Piers, I don't know what you're talking about".

However, when Piers challenged Jake about the legitimacy of his boxing career, things quickly went downhill. The journalist questioned whether Jake has ever really faced serious competition despite his 11-1 professional record.

"The only proper boxer you've fought was Tommy Fury and he beat you," Morgan pointed out. "Peak [Mike] Tyson you wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds… Canelo Alvarez says he would potentially kill you!"
A clearly irritated Paul shot back: " YouTube this, YouTube that, Disney that. This s*** is not a joke. I'm knocking out the best of the best. You vs. going to the gym… you're still a fat a**."
The clash didn't stop there. As Morgan continued to press his guest, suggesting Chavez Jr. could be the fighter to expose him as a phony boxer, Paul grew increasingly hostile.
"I think the problem here, Piers, is that you think that your opinion matters," Paul told the host. Morgan countered by asking why Paul had even bothered appearing on the show if he didn't value his opinion.
Paul fired back with one final furious comment, saying: "I'm just taking your audience to sell Pay-Per-Views. I don't give a f*** about your show. You dumba**. This is a f***ing business enterprise. Buy the Pay-Per-View on Saturday, June 28 – me vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Thank you, tune in everybody."

With that, Paul ended the Zoom call. Despite the boxer's tirade, Morgan still seemed in good humour as he continued addressing his audience, laughing: "Cheers Jake, really enjoyed that. And good luck to Julio. Knock him out for all of us, will you?"
Paul's angry exit from Uncensored has come just days before what might be a pivotal fight in his career. Morgan has been open about his opinion that Chavez Jr. could be the first person to seriously test Paul in the ring, telling the social media star: "I admire what you try to do boxing, but I do think when you actually come up against a proper, serious boxer, and I suspect that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. may be that person, it could all come crashing down."
However, Paul is still confident in his boxing abilities. During a press conference on Thursday, he told the media he predicts an early finish to the match, saying: "I'm gonna knock him out. That's what I came here to do. First-round. It's going to be an early night. He's going to get hit with a right hook right away and I'm going home early. I don't get paid for overtime. It's going to be a spectacular performance."
Chavez Jr. was unfazed by his bravado, and later responded: "No, I was expecting that from him. It's the only way for him to get attention. I am ready."

But this year he purchased a stunning 5,700 acre piece of land costing £30m - spending the fortune he made against Mike Tyson. Temperatures can soar past 30 degrees in the height of the summer in Georgia - and Paul felt every bit of it during camp. Head coach Theo Chambers told SunSport: "I like it because one thing, you can't turn the air conditioning on outside! So I loved it. "It was outside and it was hot." Assistant trainer J'Leon Love said: "That was dope. Out in the middle of nothing, nowhere just running. "That land that he has is so far, just to get from the main road up to the driveway is three miles. "And if you know the time of year in Georgia, the heat is insane. Jake Paul's trainer admits he refused to coach YouTube star at first... and reveals what convinced him to make U-turn In fact, he threatened to SACK his coaches after being pushed to his absolute limit during the gruelling training camp. Love said: "Listen, if you hire me or you hire our team as a whole, I don't care what you wanna do or what you have planned. "Once the mission is set, we dial in and do what we do and you do it, you know what I mean? That's it. "I don't care how much money you got. I don't care how popular you are, how many followers you have. "When we put a plan in place, that's what we stick to and that's what you're gonna do. "I don't care what you're feeling. You're gonna do it, so that's how we bring it, man. "I mean and that's why we're able to keep climbing this pole and keep grinding and reaching these levels. "But most definitely, Jake was p****d a lot of the time during camp, 'Man, we got this much time out.' It don't matter, get to it, but you get the job done." 10 Paul sparring boxer Steve Geffard 10 Paul with sparring partner Steve Geffard Chambers comes from the legendary Kronk gym in Detroit - made famous by the iconic trainer Emanuel Steward. The coach has rubbed shoulders with some of boxing's best - and expects high standards even for 11-1 Paul who only turned pro in 2020. Chambers said: "I saw the grind from Tommy Hearns, Darrell Chambers, Gerald McClellan, Milton McCrory, Lennox Lewis, Miguel Cotto. "So I personally only know one way and that's to work hard, train hard. Boxing is more mental than it is a physical thing. "So if I'm getting fired. I know I'm doing my job." Paul also has esteemed strength and conditioning coach Larry Wade - who has worked with several world champions - in his camp. And Wade revealed: "We want world championship performance, so we need world championship effort. 10 "And if you don't know that, it could be considered a physical and more so mental challenge, and that was the key. "And once he was able to grasp that, hey, we weren't backing down, he was just forced him to just absorb it and say, 'OK, let me get this work in.'" Paul returns for the first time since November when he beat Tyson - who controversially made a comeback aged 58. He has since dropped TWO STONE to drop back down to the 200lb cruiserweight limit of 14st 4lb to face Chavez Jr. Paul says victory could land him a shock ranking with the WBC and put him in line to challenge for Badou Jack's world title. Trainer Chambers said: "I like to be challenged. So I like my guys to be challenged. These MMA guys, they do not stand a chance with Jake Paul. "So I would like to see him fight guys like Chavez, guys like Badou Jack." Love, who spent years training alongside Jack, added: "I know who Badou is as a fighter, he's a dog. "If that is something that happens in the future, wow that'd be dope and great. It'd definitely be a mission. "You know who Badou Jack is, the world knows who Badou Jack is. That would be a great challenge right there." 10 Paul facing off with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr Credit: Getty 10 Larry Wade, J'Leon Love, Jake Paul and Theo Chambers

William Atticus Parker, 21, joined Mary-Louise at a screening for her new horror series The Institute in Culver City, California. Meanwhile, William opted for a pale blue suit, paired with a white shirt and matching trainers. He was born in 2004, just after Mary-Louise and Billy's highly publicized split ended their eight-year relationship – a breakup that made headlines when Billy left her while she was seven months pregnant for actress Claire Danes. The scandal dominated entertainment news at the time, with the then 35-year-old Billy receiving backlash for the sudden split. Danes, 24 at the time, also faced criticism, later admitting in a 2015 interview that the affair was 'messy' and 'complicated', adding, 'I was just in love with him… and needed to explore that.' Mary-Louise largely stayed silent in the immediate aftermath but opened up years later in her 2015 memoir Dear Mr. You, sharing raw insights into the emotional toll of the breakup while pregnant. She wrote: "My baby was not a tragedy. I went into the delivery room with my hair in braids, singing a lullaby, and I came out with a baby boy who made everything worthwhile." Speaking in 2023 after Billy married actress Naomi Watts, Mary-Louise told The Guardian, 'I wish them well. And absolutely I honestly of course wish them every happiness because that's my son's father. "So I'm happy for them. I'm happy they found each other.' Despite his starry lineage, William has mostly stayed out of the spotlight - though he's started popping up more frequently in recent years. Naomi Watts & Billy Crudup marry in second Mexican wedding ceremony with her and Liev Schreiber's kids in attendance He attended the 2021 Tony Awards with Mary-Louise and his younger sister, Ash, and earlier this year joined them both for the London premiere of The Institute during SXSW. He's also supported Billy on big nights, including the 2024 Critics' Choice Awards, where Billy picked up Best Supporting Actor for The Morning Show. During his speech, he thanked his 'amazing son' while posing for photos with William backstage. Away from red carpets, William has dipped into acting himself - appearing alongside Mary-Louise in Christmas in Conway, Mr. Mercedes and Colin in Black & White. He's also written and directed two feature films, Forty Winks and Atrabilious. Speaking to the Utah International Film Festival in 2022 about Forty Winks, which starred his godmother Susan Sarandon along with John Turturro and Carmen Ejogo, William said: 'It was entirely self-funded, and I had no producers to help out during the production. "Therefore, I had to take a lot on at 17, which was just a leap of faith for myself if anything.' Most recently, he appeared in Netflix's 2024 release Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp, and joined Billy and Naomi for their vow renewal in Mexico City. Photos shared by actor Justin Theroux showed William walking down the aisle beside his dad during the intimate ceremony. 7 He joined Mary-Louise at a screening for her new horror series The Institute in Culver City, California.
