Novak Djokovic: I'd like to steal David Beckham's wardrobe

Classic, clean and traditional. I love a polo shirt or something with a collar. I also like my clothes to be well fitted — I don't like things that are too baggy.
It was probably something awful! I had no fashion sense whatsoever when I was a kid. I'd always be wearing flip-flops with baggy jeans paired with a print shirt that combined about ten different colours. And I thought that I was quite stylish!
I always wear my cross necklace. But I also have sentimental things that I keep in my tennis bag like photos of my family, and the Orthodox Christian saints of my religion. I sometimes take quartz crystals with me on tour too, as I'm big into the belief that they can offer protection and positive energy.
Probably David Beckham's. I mean, he's quite a fashion role model for a lot of men, isn't he?
I got married. It was a grey Dolce & Gabbana tux. Oof … I should get bonus points from my wife for that being my answer.
To be yourself, and to wear something that allows you to express parts of your personality. In sport you often have to follow a dress code — and that works for me because I don't like extremes. It means you can respect the rules but still play around with the details to showcase your personality and uniqueness.

It would have to be something I'm comfortable in and can move freely in. I love playing sports — tennis, obviously, but also skiing or just being active outdoors and in nature. But I'd want it to be elegant and sporty. Something I could wear to play, and then head straight to dinner.
I personally like to camouflage my clothes by wearing colours that resemble the court surface. It makes me feel more agile. But I also enjoy it when somebody's bold on court and brings that fashion element into the game. Some of the women in tennis — Venus and Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Maria Sharapova — they've worn some incredible outfits and they always look phenomenal.
Class. I like clothes that are rooted in history and have a connection to the place where they originated. For example, I love the history of fashion in tennis. You see these retro photos from the late 19th century: everyone playing with wooden rackets, the ladies in long, beautiful white dresses, the men in white blazers. Nowadays I like to wear colour when I can, but I really respect the all-white tradition Wimbledon has preserved. Especially now, when everything feels so disposable, I value things that feel eternal and traditional. The Aman Essentials Tennis Club collection is available to shop now at shop.aman.com

Brian Blessed blasts ‘ignorant pigs' who put trigger warnings on Shakespeare plays

Hamlet audiences have been warned of 'coercive behaviour' and 'grief, suicide and mental illness' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ACTOR Brian Blessed has howled down trigger warnings on Shakespeare plays — and he didn't bother with poetic Bard-style language by dismissing them as 'b***s'. The thunderous-voiced thespian labelled theatre bosses 'ignorant pigs'. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up The Sun told of Hamlet audiences being warned of 'coercive behaviour' and 'grief, suicide and mental illness' at London's National Theatre. There have also been warnings about Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet. Flash Gordon star Brian, 88, has appeared in Henry V, Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing. He told a sci-fi convention: 'It's bs. It's f***ing Shakespeare. 'He is the greatest writer on the planet. 'People see his plays the length and breadth of this country and they are full of amazing things. 'There are so many ignorant pigs around.' To hammer his point home, Blessed then quoted a famous line from The Tempest adding: 'Prospero said 'We are such stuff as dreams are made on and our little life is rounded with a sleep'.' It means our short lives are fleeting like dreams and therefore not real - just like the action people see in plays on a stage. Joanna Gaines reveals 'weird rule' she implemented in her Texas farmhouse since marrying Chip

Chip and Joanna Gaines have built an incredible lifestyle empire for themselves since shooting to fame on HGTV's Fixer Upper. So it's no surprise that Joanna - who has been compared to a modern day Martha Stewart - is a pro when it comes to welcoming guests into her Waco farmhouse. During an appearance on Today to promote her new home cooking show, Magnolia Table: At the Farm, Gaines, 47, revealed the 'weird rule' that she's implemented at home since marrying husband Chip in 2003. 'There's a cake plate stand on the island that since I first got married - it was like the first year, I got it for a wedding gift and it was empty,' she explained. 'We had so many friends and family coming in, and I was like, "I need to start having something in there," so it was kind of a weird rule I made,' she continued. 'The rule is just kind of always have something on the cake plate stand for the family or for guests - it's really me now just eating the stuff, so that's fun. It's now for me.' Chip and Joanna have been married for over two decades - but that doesn't mean they haven't had their fair share of ups and downs. The HGTV stars - who share five children - recently opened up about their private life and how they have dealt with the challenges of marriage. Joanna, 47, revealed that they had 'non-negotiables from day one,' speaking on how to balance their fame, family and relationship. She referenced the store she and Chip, 50, owned - which was called The Little Shop on Bosque and opened in the early 2000s - at the start of their marriage. However, the mom-of-five said even though it was scary, she could see the bright side even if they 'were struggling for the first 12 years of marriage.' 'Like every Friday it was like, "Well, is this when we close our doors [of The Little Shop on Bosque]?"' she explained on the Stronger Podcast with Don Saladino. 'Every day we showed up, it was like, "Well, if this all goes away, we still have each other,"' the Fixer Upper star said passionately. She explained that sums up the 'core and foundation' of who they are. 'Every decision we make, we say, "How will this affect this?"' the renovation star shared. Joanna credited her and Chip's decision to prioritize each other as helping them navigate fame whilst raising a family. Chip agreed, adding he would be fine with stepping away from the spotlight, as long as the most important thing - his wife and kids - were still there. 'As I think about fame and success and money in comparison to my marriage and my family… [If] all of this would instantly go away, and my wife and my kids would be back on the farm, raising animals,' the doting dad mused during the interview. 'But Jo and I, we believe we can have our cake and eat it too in the sense that I can be successful and I can have a healthy marriage and family,' he added. Joanna also shared the new endeavor the two are embarking on - their wellness journey. 'At this stage in our life, what we're trying to figure out is: we've got family, we've got business, like that's our thing... but now this wellness and health and working out, that is a new thing for us that we're trying to figure out,' she shared. Joanna and Chip have been married since 2003 and share five children: Drake, 20, Ella, 18, Duke, 17, Emmie, 15, and Crew, seven.

'DJ Trump' tests out new White House outdoor speaker system by blasting some of his favorite songs

President Donald Trump tested out the new outdoor speakers outside the freshly remodeled Rose Garden at the White House, playing some of his favorite hits that echoed beyond the White House driveway. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt brought reporters out into the garden to witness the event. The president initially sparked interest after the familiar peals of Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA began, followed by Pavarotti's 'Nessun dorma,' Elvis Presley's 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' and Joe Cocker's 'You Are So Beautiful.' Trump emerged from the Oval Office and pumped his fist as the music played, and pointed at the renovated garden. The music continued throughout the afternoon, including some of his favorites like 'YMCA' by the Village People. 'The president wanted me to let all of you know that he is testing the speakers for what will be the best event in the history of the White House,' Leavitt said, previewing a future event to be determined in the upcoming days. She said the president was controlling the music from inside the Oval Office on his iPad while also conducting meetings. Leavitt added that Trump even hinted that the first White House party on the new patio would be for the press. 'He said: "Maybe we'll do that,"' Leavitt teased. Leavitt confirmed the yellow striped umbrellas were the same as those on Trump's Mar-a-Lago, Florida, estate. 'They are literally the umbrellas from Mar-a-Lago,' she said When asked if First Lady Melania Trump was pleased with the renovation, Leavitt replied, 'I believe so.' She noted that the first lady's Rose Garden renovations from Trump's first term were 'untouched.' Leavitt confirmed the president's plans to spend time in Bedminster for August had been canceled, when typically renovations are conducted at the White House. 'This is normally the time when the president goes on vacation, but not this president,' she said. 'There were discussions about him working from Bedminster for a couple of weeks, but he decided against it.' She said the president was focused on remaining in Washington, DC and getting a peace deal in Ukraine. 'He's a man on a mission. He wants to move. Get things done quickly,' she said. 'He wants to strike when the iron is hot.'
