Eid in Dubai: Avoid Airport Road during peak travel hours, RTA advises
As you make the most of your Eid Al Fitr holidays and visit various recreational destinations in Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) it says it is better to avoid Airport Road during peak travel hours if you are not headed to Dubai International Airport (DXB). This will help avoid unnecessary delays and make your commute smooth.
The RTA said people can use alternative routes such as Sheikh Rashid or Nad Al Hamar Roads for their trips across the emirate.
DXB is bracing for a holiday surge with more than 3.6 million guests in total expected to pass through its terminals during the Eid travel peak from March 26 to April 7. The busiest day of the period is expected to be Saturday, April 5, when 309,000 guests are expected.
In order to ensure a smooth journey during the peak period, Dubai Airports is urging guests to use the recently introduced DXB Express Maps, a smart wayfinding tool that provides real-time navigation across all terminals.

Public and private beaches in Abu Dhabi saw significant turnout, especially in the late afternoon, offering a healthy and enjoyable environment for Eid celebrations. Public beach facilities included changing rooms, showers, free water dispensers, and motorcycle teams to assist visitors. Beaches also featured volleyball nets, football areas, and activities like jet skiing and parasailing. Parks in Abu Dhabi, particularly those with barbecue areas and children's play zones, were highly popular on the second day of Eid.
