
16k litres of fake coconut oil seized
The inspections were conducted after complaints regarding the quality of coconut oil were received by the department due to rising prices. The minister stated that inspections will continue.
The largest seizure of fake coconut oil was from Kollam district. In Kollam, 9,337 litres of coconut oil, including 5,800 litres of the Kera Surya and Kera Haritham brands, were seized, which were packed with fake FSSAI numbers and addresses for sale. In Alappuzha, 6,530 litres of fake coconut oil were seized.

Pregnant Bangladeshi prisoner escapes from JJ hospital in Mumbai

Patna horror: 2 children found dead inside parked car in Indrapuri; probe on
PATNA: Two children were found dead inside a parked car in Patna's Indrapuri area on Friday evening, police said. "Police received information that the bodies of two children - a girl and a boy - were found inside a car in Indrapuri locality. Officials immediately reached the spot and recovered the bodies. They are trying to ascertain the identity of the children. Bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination", Patna (Central) SP Diksha said. SP Diksha stated that the exact cause of their deaths would be determined only after the autopsy report is released. An official added that the girl was around nine years old, while the boy was about five. A call was received on 112. 2 die as bikes collide, cops say one of them was making stunt reel
Ghaziabad: Two men died and another was injured after their motorcycles collided head-on on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in Tronica City on Thursday night around 8pm. According to police, one rider was filming a stunt reel at the time of the accident. A 13-second crash video has also gone viral. The deceased were identified as Rohit Sharma (31) of Delhi and Subodh Kumar (42) of Baghpat; the injured is Sanjay Sharma (38) of Baghpat. A head-on collision between two motorcycles was captured in a 13-second video received by TOI from the police. The footage shows Rohit performing dangerous stunts on his Yamaha R1-5, standing on the bike while holding the handlebars as another person films him. Simultaneously, Sanjay was riding his Star Sports bike from Delhi to Baghpat when the two vehicles collided.
