ITV axe drama starring Martin Clunes after just one series
Out There premiered earlier this year and saw Clunes play the role of a father trying to protect his son after getting involved in a network of drug dealers.
Filming for the series took in various parts of Wales, including some farm scenes that were shot in the Brecon Beacon s.
Last week, Clunes spoke about the series' future, sharing: "We were keen on doing a second series but ITV aren't, it seems.
"It didn't quite pull the numbers they wanted, unfortunately."

According to The Sun, the low viewing figures were a surprise as Out There was produced by production company Buffalo Pictures, which has had past success.

Buffalo Pictures has previously worked on hit shows, Manhunt and Doc Martin, which Clunes starred in.
Confirming that Out There would not return, an ITV spokesperson said: "We are really proud of Out There and would like to thank Martin and the production team for delivering a brilliant series.
'We do always hope to see our series return, and we are sorry we didn't get this drama to connect with a big enough audience to see that happen.'
Out There was a six-part series that explored the problem of drug dealers working in rural areas and crossing county lines.
On the show, Clunes played Nathan Williams, a man who runs a farm which has been in his family for generations.
Alongside Clunes, the series starred Louis Ashbourne Serkis, who is the son of actors Andy Serkis and Lorraine Ashbourne.

ITV Loose Women pulled from air amid budget cuts as host begs viewers to 'get involved'
Loose Women has been removed from screens for the rest of the week with one of the hosts making a desperate plea to viewers. Loose Women has been taken off air for the rest of the week in yet another scheduling shake up for the broadcaster. The ITV chat show features a host of stars including Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Olivia Attwood discussing the hot topics of the day, and it normally airs on weekdays at lunchtimes. However, on Tuesday's episode of Loose Women, host Christine Lampard welcomed a new presenter onto the set alongside her co-stars Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore, while JoJo Siwa later appeared to open up about her relationship with Chris Hughes. Meanwhile, Lee Peart, who is a stand up comedian that has acted as the warm up act for the show's live studio audience for a number of years, was brought out on live television to present the competitions segment for that day. The role is normally covered by the likes of This Morning's Josie Gibson or Big Brother winner Kate Lawler among others and often is reported on live from various abroad locations. When Lee made his debut on the programme to let viewers know how they could be in with a chance of winning £60k, he dropped the bombshell that the Loose Women ladies will not be on screens over the coming days. Christine later confirmed his announcement which is due to the racing, the Mirror reports. He said: "Lines close on Friday and I will say, this is actually the last Loose Women of the week, so get your entry in if you want to do that!" It comes amid a series of extensive budget cuts for ITV, which will see both Loose Women and the Lorraine show being cut down to 30 weeks a year. Earlier this year, it was revealed that ITV soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale will also be slashing their cast members in an attempt to cut costs. During the weeks that Lorraine Kelly is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run in her place from 6am to 10am. Meanwhile, This Morning will remain in its 10am to 12:30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year and Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot for a seasonal basis of 30 weeks too. Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, explained of the huge changes: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres. "I recognise that our plans will have an impact on staff off screen in our Daytime production teams." He continued: "We will work with ITV Studios and ITN as they manage these changes to produce the shows differently from next year, and support them through this transition. "Daytime has been a core element of ITV's schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade."

Katie Price has been urged by her sister Sophie and her fans to get back in favour with her daughter, amid claims Peter Andre is 'devastated' by the situation Peter Andre is reportedly heartbroken that his daughter Princess is being held responsible for the supposed rift between her and mum Katie Price regarding her new ITV show. Ex-glamour model Katie, 47, recently alleged she wasn't permitted to feature in four-part documentary series The Princess Diaries. There were claims of behind-the-scenes friction, with reports suggesting Katie wasn't invited to the teenager's recent 18th birthday celebration. Katie's sister Sophie recommended Princess insist her mum joins her on the programme, reports the Mirror. Sophie revealed on The Katie Price Show podcast: "Ultimately I do think it's down to Princess to put her foot down a bit." "But, she'll be scared Soph," Katie responded. Now, an insider has alleged Peter is "devastated" by the whole ordeal, telling The Sun: "It's been a difficult, whirlwind of a time. The past few weeks should have been fully focused on Princess and her new career. "Instead, it's been marred by her mum who can't let go of being in the headlines." The source continued to claim Katie's recent glowing social media posts about her daughter appear to be 'damage control' and that she's 'eager to demonstrate they maintain a positive relationship' as Princess launches her own reality TV career. Whilst Peter was significantly involved, Katie was absent from filming for the show, and could only be heard during telephone conversations. And her absence during the publicity blitz has only further fuelled speculation of a rift between mother and daughter following Katie's claims she wasn't invited to Princess' birthday celebration. However, when it was suggested to Princess that she should simply ring her mother to resolve matters after Katie's remarks, she dismissed the idea saying 'it's not worth it' as she told The Guardian: "Mum can be annoyed about something and then we send each other a message and we're fine." Danny Dyer and Rivals co-star reunite as they land new role ahead of season 2
EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is set to star in a brand new ITV game show alongside a very familiar Rivals co-star Danny Dyer has landed a new ITV game show with one of his Rivals co-stars. The former EastEnders star left fans gobsmacked with his performance in the Disney+ drama, which is set to return for its second series next year. The saucy series, based on Jilly Cooper's novel, charts the rivalry between David Tennant's Rupert Campbell-Black and Aidan Turner's Tony Baddingham at a telly station in the Cotswolds. In the role of endearing tech whizz Freddie Jones, who contemplates having an affair with Katherine Parkinson's Lizzie Vereker, Danny bagged the Best Supporting Actor gong at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards earlier this year. The star-studded cast also includes Alex Hassell from His Dark Materials, Victoria Smurfit from Once Upon A Time, Bella Maclean from Sex Education, and Luke Pasqualino from Skins, reports the Manchester Evening News. One face that fans were thrilled to see in the series was Emily Atack, who shot to fame on The Inbetweeners, playing aspiring presenter Sarah Stratton. Following her stint on the Channel 4 sitcom, the former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here runner-up had primarily focused on theatre and panel shows. However, it was recently confirmed that Danny and Emily are poised to host a new game show titled Nobody's Fool. The strategic reality quiz, set to broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026, is billed as 'a unique reality event brimming with drama and deception where the fate of the contestants isn't decided by how smart they are, but how smart their fellow contestants reckon they are'. Ten contestants from across the UK will be selected to stay in a unique and mischievous Smart House, where they compete in challenges to convince others that they are more intelligent than they may actually be. To add to the group prize pot, the contestants will take part in daily individual quizzes. However, only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done, and they will decide what information to share with their competitors. An ITV spokesperson said: "Across the series, the players must determine who is the weakest amongst them and eliminate them. As each of the contestants sets out to prove their worth and value to the rest of the group, can the players suss out who is a genuine asset and who is simply faking in a bid to stay in the game?" "The show aims to exploit preconceived notions about intelligence, playing on stereotypes and snap judgments to create a cast of characters who will keep viewers guessing." Speaking of the series, Danny noted: "This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it, and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end." Emily added "It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must see." Sue Murphy, ITV's Director of Factual Entertainment, and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor at ITV, labelled Nobody's Fool as an 'innovative reality/quiz crossover show'. "Danny and Emily are the perfect pairing to host this game of surprise and prejudice, that will no doubt have audiences on the edge of their seats," they hinted. The brand new series will air on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player next year (2026).
