Oasis' Croke Park concert LIVE: Noel Gallagher mobbed as he makes pub visit
The once warning brothers will perform at the national stadium tonight, with a second concert tomorrow – playing their biggest hits to around 164,000 die-hard fans. But Dublin also holds a special place in the Gallagher's hearts.
The Mancunian brothers have spoken about their ties to Ireland through their Irish-born parents, Peggy and Thomas. Dublin is the fifth stop on the mammoth Oasis Live'25 tour, having already performed in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh. After tomorrow's show, they'll have a short break before heading over to Canada to complete the rest of the world leg of the tour.
But before taking to the stage, Noel had hoped to have a quiet drink in the city; however, he was mobbed by fans, but made time to chat to them and sign memorabilia. The concert comes just days after a fan who had travelled from Italy to see the band perform in Edinburgh sadly died just hours before the concert.

What time are Oasis on stage?
Noel, Liam, Bonehead, Andy Bell and Gem Archer are due on stage in less than an hour.
They are scheduled to walk out at 8:15, to F***in' in the Bushes before belting out Hello. Their set is set to last for two hours, and each night on previous dates, they have finished on time.

Noel mobbed by fans
Noel had hoped for a quiet drink at Brady's Clockhouse in Maynooth but was left surrounded by fans.
He didn't seem fazed, though, as the Britpop icon posed for photos with fans and signed autographs. An Oasis fan who bumped into Noel in the pub described him as "bang on" and "like a normal lad".
Ryan King managed to meet Noel before he returned to his hotel - and even secured an autograph on his bucket hat. Speaking to the Irish Mirror, he revealed: "The security told us to leave him but he said 'Come on' and he signed a T-shirt, a hat and a few vinyls for the lads.
"He was nice, he was bang on, he's like a normal lad."

Oasis star Noel Gallagher has sights set on a new project, with uncertainty surrounding whether it will involve brother Liam as they continue their epic reunion tour Noel Gallagher is reportedly crafting fresh material but remains undecided whether he will collaborate with brother Liam for new Oasis tracks. Sources close to Noel, 58, say he's been energised by the reaction to the band's sold-out reunion. However, he's said to be still contemplating whether to continue developing his music solo, or just Roll With It and bring Liam, 52, into the fold for a fresh Oasis record. An insider revealed to the Mirror: "Noel has been energised by performing to devoted audiences, who have supercharged his creativity. But he is undecided whether his work will become a new album for Oasis with Liam on vocals." Noel, who also leads High Flying Birds, is reportedly "waiting to see how things play out". However the insider disclosed: "Noel has been in an absolutely fine mood... greeting staff with smiles, super relaxed and sharing his joy about the shows. "He's also been strumming some new tunes in his dressing room. But, from what he has said, these tracks are not yet aligned for any project. "There is no Oasis studio return as yet agreed by the band, and they still have a long way to go. Things are great now, but who knows what will happen given the brothers' past troubles on the road." Oasis parted ways back in 2009 follow a massive row between the siblings, however they delighted fans last year announcing they would reunite as they launched the Oasis reunion tour in Cardiff back in July. The pair are set to earn £50million each if they can maintain harmony during their travels and have so far kept their distance from one another backstage. In Ireland this weekend, even their hotels were reportedly 30 miles apart. Filmmaker Charlie Lightening revealed Liam's pre-gig routine and how he anticipated both him and sibling Noel would maintain their distance. "With Liam, he'll come and do the soundcheck, then he'll go to his hotel room and just chill all day," he previously said. "And then most of the time, he turns up 20 minutes before he goes on stage, straight into his dressing room, finishes off his warm-up. No one talks to him. "He comes out five minutes before the show, does the show, then goes straight off into his car. You don't really see him." Charlie reckons the animosity between Liam and elder brother Noel is precisely what drives Oasis forward, as he said: "It will never fully go. It will still have that edge, for sure." Following Ireland the group heads across the pond to Canada, US, and Mexico, before returning to Wembley Stadium in London on September 27 and 28. They will then travel further afield to Asia, Australia and South America, with the final date of their Oasis Live '25 tour taking place in Sao Paulo in Brazil on November 22 and 23.

Liam and Noel Gallagher's mum Peggy has finally seen her two sons on stage with Oasis for the first time in 16 years, and is attending their Croke Park concerts in Dublin Proud mum Peggy Gallagher has finally been to see the Oasis reunion - with Liam Gallagher dedicating a song to her tonight in Dublin. As the band performed Stand By Me, Liam could be heard saying: "This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight." There were big cheers from the fans at Croke Park in response. The 92-year-old mum of Noel and Liam Gallagher is thrilled her sons have patched up their differences and reunited the band. She has spoken about planning to see them on the Oasis Live 25 tour too and still lives in Manchester, where she brought up her three sons in Burnage. But Peggy avoided the all-standing Manchester shows so she could see them in comfort in a box when they played in Dublin. In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: "I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look you can't force them to do things they don't want to do'. She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two. 'It's great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?' she said, although she admitted to being nervous about the shows and would be 'glad when it's all just over because it makes me get too stressed.' Peggy has been spending time with both Noel and Liam in the run-up to the live tour, and was on holiday with Liam and his partner Debbie in the South of France earlier in the year when Liam was on vocal rest. Speaking in the Sunday Times in 2019, Liam said: 'Any good that comes out of me is all from Peggy and all her sisters and brothers. 'They were a good, close bunch of people. I never miss my father because my mother was both a mother and a father figure. She was there with the cuddle. "She was also there with the whack.
