Nike debuted a special sneaker for Caitlin Clark. She is one of the brightest stars in the WNBA and Nike created a custom style, the Kobe V Protro, which consists of a special edition sneaker named after the late NBA great Kobe Bryant, The sneaker was released on Monday, July 1, 2025 at 10 a.m.
Eastern Time and sold out online within minutes. The original retail price was $190, but many pairs are now popping up on resale websites like eBay for over $350.
The sneaker features coloring inspired by Caitlin Clark's team, the Indiana Fever—midnight navy, bright crimson, and hints of gold. Nike stated that the shoes have a shiny, highly glossy finish that pops under lights. It is unclear how many pairs have been made or when they will be restocked.
