Axed Love Island star issues warning to co-stars after they send him packing

Daily Mirror19 hours ago

Love Island 2025's latest axed contestant Blu Chegini had some wise words in a plea to his co-stars on the ITV2 series moments after he was dramatically booted off the show
One axed Love Island contestant had a warning for his co-stars seconds after his exit was shown onscreen.
Blu was booted out of the villa by some of his own co-stars during Friday night, after a tense final showdown with bombshell Shea. It had been down to them two after a recoupling, with it confirmed one of them would be going home.

The trouble was they had to choose which one of them left, which led to them both refusing to exit the villa. The other Islanders were then tasked with making the choice for them, and ultimately it was Blu sent home by his villa pals.

Just moments after he learned he would be going home, Blu shared a warning of sorts with his pals as he said his goodbyes. Blu told some of the boys that they needed to "enjoy" their time in the villa while they still could.
He added their own departures could happen at any time, before sharing his sadness to be leaving. He said: "Enjoy your time in here, you never know when your last day is gonna be." He added: "I was waiting for that spark to find with someone."
Blu then made a final dig at Shea as he left the villa doors. He said to camera: "I don't think I was the right person to go. I think I had a bit more character in the villa I'd say."
Meanwhile, everyone was left reeling when it was announced that Blu and Shea would have to decide between themselves which of them stayed, and who was sent packing. Blu was shown giving reasons why he should stay, even suggesting he had a spark with Toni which left her utterly baffled.
Then Shea did the same back, making a dig at his co-star as he revealed why it should be him that stayed. Shea commented on Blu having been there for days longer than him, believing there was no connection to be explored. Soon enough the other Islanders were tasked with making the decision for them as neither of them would go.

Earlier this week, viewers predicted which former Love Island star could be set to enter the famous second villa, Casa Amor later this series. After Sophie Lee was axed from the show on Tuesday night in a brutal dumping, after her partner Harry was stolen by Shakira, fans were quick to predict she might be back very soon.
Taking to X, fans guessed the twist would happen with one fan writing: "I reckon Sophie will re-enter the villa as a bombshell by the end of next week at the latest or she will re-enter in Casa Amor." Another said: "Dw Sophie you'll be back in 4 weeks for Casa Amor."

A third viewer begged: "Nah bring Sophie back for Casa Amor she deserves a chance." A fourth fan agreed: "Bring her back for casa amor!!" as a fifth viewer posted: "Gutted for her and bring back Sophie as a bombshell or Casa Amor."
The comments kept on coming with one reading: "They better bring Sophie back as a Casa bombshell. Justice for Sophie." Another said: "BRING SOPHIE BACK FOR CASA AMOR!"

Sam Thompson reveals true feelings on Louis Tomlinson in awkward Soccer Aid interview

Sam Thompson reveals true feelings on Louis Tomlinson in awkward Soccer Aid interview The Made in Chelsea star and One Direction singer have come face to face at Soccer Aid training amid Zara McDermott drama Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson (Image: 2025 Mike Marsland ) Preparations for this year's Soccer Aid charity match have begun, with the England and World XI squads gathering for their training sessions before Sunday evening's clash at Old Trafford. The huge event has provided plenty of memorable moments over the years, with celebrities and former professional footballers coming together to raise tens of millions of pounds for UNICEF since its launch in 2006, all while sharing plenty of laughs and showing off their varied range of skills on the pitch. However, this year, there is set to be some awkwardness among the England ranks with squad members Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson coming face-to-face after a dramatic development in their respective romantic lives. In December last year, Made In Chelsea star and former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! champion Thompson split from his girlfriend of five years, Zara McDermott. Weeks later, McDermott - who rose to fame on the fourth series of Love Island in 2018 - went public with her new romance with One Direction star Tomlinson, with the pair since jetting off on romantic getaways to Costa Rica and Los Angeles. Thompson has insisted there are "no hard feelings" between him and Tomlinson, but all eyes were on the pair when they reported to Soccer Aid training earlier this week and came face-to-face. While Thompson has since been forced to miss out on playing in the big game after picking up a calf injury, he will still share the dressing room with Tomlinson after being handed a coaching role for the event. After the lineups for this year's charity match were announced, the 32-year-old was grilled by close friend and The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks in an awkward interview on their Staying Relevant podcast. Innocently asking about his friend's Soccer Aid preparations, Wicks said: "How are you feeling? You're playing again. Must be really exciting. Grinning, he then added: 'How do you feel about the line-up? Do you think you've got a strong team?' Thompson then awkwardly laughed and replied: "Got a really strong team.' However, Wicks pressed further and asked: 'Any kind of people in there who you're looking forward to playing with?' Continuing to dodge the question, Thompson tried to keep a straight face and said: "Loads. Tom Grennan. I'm really looking forward to playing alongside Wayne Rooney. Tyson Fury's the manager. I can't wait.' A smirking Wicks then added: 'I mean, that's gonna be f***** amazing. 'Make sure you get him on side though, because you may need him in your corner in case you fall out with anyone. Not that you will, but just in case there's any rivalries or anything. 'You know, you have to train together and it's a lot, you know, when you're kind of in close quarters with someone like that. All sorts gets brought up. Anyway…' As well as Tomlinson, the England team features ex-pros including Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Joe Hart as well as celebrities including Dame Denise Lewis, Bear Grylls and Sir Mo Farah. Article continues below Thompson will join an impressive coaching team made up of Wayne Rooney, Tyson Fury, David James and actress Vicky McClure. Meanwhile, former football stars Nemanja Vidic, Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci will all be in action for the World XI as they play alongside the likes of Martin Compston, Dermot Kennedy and Bryan Habana.

But it had undergone a makeover for the tenth year anniversary to make sure it's bigger than ever with glam touch-ups. This year, there is a new, supersized hideaway, walk-in wardrobes, an exercise bike and a steamy hot tub beside the huge pool. A purple theme has also been added and extended through to the fire pit, while the rooms have been touched up with gold furnishings. Even though you might not be able to install a built-in hot tub or pool in your own garden, there are still ways you can 'crack on' and add a touch of Love Island luxury to your home. Interior experts have revealed that there are a few clever design choices that will serve up a vibe that's trendy and timeless. And they are surprisingly easy for anyone who loves the popular ITV show. Paint and interiors expert Lucy Steele from Valspar Paint shared her four tips for helping your space look like a real villa bombshell. Go bright or go home Lucy has said that an essential tip for nailing the Love Island look at home is by pairing bright whites with pops of bold colour. She explained: "The interior of the Villa uses lots of brilliant whites as an easy backdrop for the bursts of fun colours throughout the space. Love Island fans spot clue islander is pretending to fancy her partner after awkward recoupling "Regularly using bold pinks, blues and butter yellows in the colour scheme of the Villa makes for a fun and playful aesthetic. "If you already have neutral walls at home, you can achieve this by using the iconic colour trio to paint feature walls. "Or simply coat doorframes and mirror frames for an instant refresh." Firepit drama No Love Island-inspired garden would be complete without the legendary fire pit. So if you want to recreate the look of the Villa in your own space, then you definitely need to pick up one of these. Lucy said: "This is an absolute must for the home, and it's actually fairly cheap to recreate. "In more basic styles, you can get a fire pit for as little as £20 in standard retailers like B&Q. "For a full-on Love Island garden vibe, add string fairy lights, sun loungers, and a splattering of colour-blocked cushions in the same blue, pink and yellow colour scheme. "You may also want to coordinate the colour of your outdoor furniture with natural wood and whites. "An easy way to achieve this cohesive look without splashing the cash is by painting your existing garden furniture with exterior paint, helping you stay loyal to the look." 6 The experts say every Love Island fan should have a fire pit in their home Credit: ITV Pop art inspo This is a fairly new one, but pop art goes perfectly with the theme of the Love Island Villa. Lucy advises: "Pop art was introduced to the design of the Villa fairly recently, and it works perfectly with the colour scheme throughout. "Pop art prints are relatively low cost, or you could DIY your own to give your space a cheeky, flirtatious edge. "Pop Art is a great way to add the Love Island look to your casa at a low cost. "And it can also be easily changed in the future to new and exciting art pieces." The five colours that are becoming outdated in 2025 IT'S important to make sure that when you update your space, you create a look that won't quickly become outdated. With that in mind, interior designers have revealed the five colours that are beginning to fade now that we are halfway into 2025. Interior pro Paulina Wojas from Stunning Chairs has said that 2025 is all about creating warm, inviting places. Emerald Green - "While this colour is still loved for its luxe vibe, its declining popularity could be due to it being oversaturated". Camel - "This could be due to Camel's brown-yellow undertone that may be too warm for a clean aesthetic, and 2025 interior trends favouring more muted, earthy tones such as taupe and olive.' Burgundy - "A prominent trend this year is open, airy spaces with organic elements, which could explain burgundy's declining demand". Scarlet Red - "While its vibrant hue is desirable for maximalist interiors, scarlet red's intensity can become overpowering, resulting in colour fatigue. Teal - "While this aquatic shade is still desirable and perfect for coastal, Greek-inspired interiors, the low number of teal sales could be due to changing preferences and trends shifting towards warmer colour palettes.' I've got a text… it says you need neon! According to the experts, anyone looking to bring the vibe of the Villa into their home needs to bring in touches of neon. Lucy explains: "Neon lights are an absolute must-have to achieve the Love Island look at home. "Think playful phrases, a neon heart above your bed, or a cheeky cocktail sign for the garden. "Neon is glam, Insta-ready, and surprisingly affordable. "Plus, it'll give your space that unmistakable glow. "It's perfect for setting the mood for your next pre-coupling party!"
