The toy set is currently listed on Home Bargains website as part of its StarBuys rang
Home Bargains is offering Disney fans and bargain hunters a 'magical' deal with its latest StarBuys – a Disney Encanto 5 Doll Family Set worth £40, now available for £6.99. The discount retailer frequently refreshes its StarBuy selection, featuring slashed prices on homeware, toiletries, toys, beauty products, and more, often at a fraction of the recommended retail price (RRP).
In a huge 82% price cut, fans of Disney and parents alike can snap up this toy set for a fraction of the usual cost. Originally priced at £40, the set has been reduced to just £6.99, allowing customers to pocket a saving of £33, reports Plymouth Live.

Home Bargains says: "Walt Disney Animation Studios' 60th feature, Encanto, tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift.

"Explore the magical world of Disney's Encanto and play out your favourite scenes with the Pepa, Felix, Antonio, Dolores, and Camilo Gift Set! Each doll comes wearing its signature outfit, just like in the movie! Pepa and Dolores wear their beautiful dresses, complete with their signature jewellery, hair accessories, and espadrille sandals!"
"Felix, Camilo, and Antonio are dressed in their story's authentic outfits, and come with removable shoes!" The description continues: "Take this fantastic family of five with you, and go on your own amazing adventures!"
Disney's hit film Encanto, which debuted in November 2021 and landed on Disney+ the following December, spins the enchanting tale of the Madrigal family living in a charmed house (Casita) nestled in the Colombian mountains. Mirabel, the sole Madrigal without a magical talent, embarks on a quest to rescue her family's dwindling magic and their beloved home.
The toy set is suitable for children aged three and up, but not for those under three due to potential choking hazards. There is no need for batteries, and Home Bargains advises: "Adult supervision is recommended during play to ensure safety, especially with small accessories."
For keeping the toys spick and span, the retailer suggests: "Wipe dolls and accessories with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners."

When it comes to putting the toy away, Home Bargains instructs: "Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent damage."
Bargain hunters rejoice as Home Bargains slashes prices on other Encanto merchandise too. Snap up an Augustin figurine for just 99p, a steal down from the usual £3.99 RRP. Felix fans can also grab his figure for the same bargain price.
Elsewhere at Home Bargains, shoppers have been impressed by a large basket on sale for £19.99, a medium version for £14.99 and a small one for £9.99. TikTok user @weir_home says she "literally gasped" when she spotted the new "stunning" wicker basket planters.

Top 10 80s movies ranked you can stream right now - including two that are totally free

A surprising number of iconic and underrated 80s movies are currently available to stream - here's the best of the best Several incredible movies from the 1980s are available to stream, but what's the cream of the crop? ‌ Many film buffs will agree that the 80s was one of, if not the best decade for cinema in history, with many of the most iconic films of all time releasing in the space of just 10 years. ‌ From rip-roaring blockbusters to spine-tingling horror movies, the decade launched franchises, produced acclaimed filmmakers and broke box office records left, right and centre. ‌ Let's run down 10 of the best undeniable classics and a handful of underrated gems, from sci-fi epics to stunning animation and guaranteed tearjerkers. And, even better, they're all available to stream right now in the UK, including a handful you can watch completely free. The Blues Brothers This musical masterpiece starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd is undoubtedly one of the funniest movies produced during this decade. Based on their iconic Saturday Night Live characters, Jake and Elwood Blues race against time to assemble their R&B band for one last show to save the orphanage where they were raised. Featuring appearances from beloved blues musicians such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and James Brown, this love letter to music and the city of Chicago is guaranteed to leave you tapping your toes. ‌ The Blues Brothers is available to stream on NOW. ET If there's one name who dominated film culture in the 80s, it's almost certainly Steven Spielberg. ‌ From acclaimed historical dramas such as The Colour Purple and Empire of the Sun, to rollicking adventures with Indiana Jones, the blockbuster filmmaker released what many consider to be his best films during the decade. One of his most daring and personal projects at that time, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, was a risky venture thanks to its small-scale drama and bold premise. Thankfully, the gamble paid off, knocking Star Wars off its podium and remaining the highest-grossing film of all time, until Spielberg beat his own record a decade later with Jurassic Park. ET is available to stream on Netflix. ‌ Die Hard For our money the best action film ever made, Die Hard is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser whether you're watching at Christmas or during a heatwave. ‌ Launching the big screen career of Hollywood powerhouse Bruce Willis, John McTiernan's sublime thriller remains so influential to this day that 'Die Hard on a [insert location/vehicle here]' is still a bankable pitch for an action film. With so many imitators out there, make sure you find time for the triumphant genuine article soon. Die Hard is available to stream on Disney+. ‌ A Dry White Season This underrated historical drama shines a light on the devastating realities of apartheid in South Africa during the 1970s. Featuring Donald Sutherland as a teacher at a school for white students, he's forced to question his morals when the son of his Black gardener is viciously murdered by the white police. ‌ One of the first major Hollywood films directed by a Black woman, Euzhan Palcy, and also featuring an oft-forgotten Oscar-nominated performance from Marlon Brando, A Dry White Season is an essential and gripping part of cinema history that often gets overlooked. A Dry White Season is available to stream on Prime Video. ‌ The Thing Body horror became a defining sub-genre of the 1980s thanks to the advancement of special effects and film fans' growing appetite for boundary-pushing scares. Widely considered the best example, with masterful practical effects and tension in every frame, John Carpenter's The Thing is a creature feature like no one had ever seen before - or since. Starring Kurt Russell, this eerie, paranoid thriller about an Antarctica research team who get infiltrated by a shape-shifting extra-terrestrial was a box office flop at the time but has since become a beloved horror classic. ‌ The Thing is available to stream for free on ITVX. The Fly With so many excellent gory masterpieces to choose from, why just settle for one example? ‌ Arguably even more horrifying than The Thing is David Cronenberg's masterpiece The Fly, a morbid reimagining of a classic sci-fi horror from 1958. Jeff Goldblum portrays an ambitious scientist who begins to transform after perfecting the art of teleportation, only for his machine to malfunction with grotesque results. The Fly is available to stream on Disney+. ‌ Do the Right Thing From body horror to social satire, the 80s were also renowned for a wide variety of thought-provoking dramas. Influential director Spike Lee was just 32 when he made Do the Right Thing, cementing himself as one of the most prominent Black artists in history by tackling race relations in America like never before. ‌ Combining laugh-out-loud humour with high-stakes drama and career-best performances from much of its cast, which includes Lee himself alongside Danny Aiello, John Turturro and Rosie Perez, there's a reason why many cinephiles still consider it among the filmmaker's best work. Do the Right Thing is available to stream on NOW. ‌ Watch Stranger Things on Netflix for free with Sky This article contains affiliate links, we will receive a commission on any sales we generate from it. Learn more from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description My Neighbour Totoro We'd be remiss not to include any animated films on a list of the best of any decade and, while Disney had its fair share of hits, from The Fox and the Hound to The Little Mermaid, in our opinion this masterpiece from Studio Ghibli wipes the floor with all of them. My Neighbour Totoro is a timeless tale of childhood seen through the whimsical lens of Japanese animation genius Hayao Miyazaki, who injects every heartfelt moment with fantasy and wonder. ‌ If you've already seen this animated gem, or fall in love with the furry forest spirit on your first watch, all of Studio Ghibli's incredible films are available on the same service. My Neighbour Totoro is available to stream on Netflix. ‌ Blade Runner Yes, it's yet another science fiction classic, but you can't ignore perfection. While it may have spawned a generation of moody film bros, it's easy to see why this atmospheric, neon-drenched cyberpunk thriller caught the imagination of so many. From cinematic mastermind Ridley Scott, who already reinvented the genre with his seminal space horror Alien in 1979, comes a gripping existential head-trip starring Harrison Ford as a futuristic detective tasked with hunting down synthetic humans known as replicants. ‌ Blending classic noir with one of the bleakest visions of the future ever put to film, Blade Runner is worth watching for the visual splendour alone, but will also keep you thinking long after the credits roll. Blade Runner is available to stream on Prime Video. ‌ Raiders of the Lost Ark What's left to say about Raiders of the Lost Ark that hasn't been said a million times before? Somehow, Spielberg delivered two masterpieces back-to-back, with the introduction of yet another iconic Harrison Ford hero arriving in 1981, a year before the acclaimed filmmaker made millions of moviegoers sob uncontrollably with ET. The most iconic movie star of all time in his prime, an enthralling, globetrotting adventure, booby traps and ancient puzzles galore, and Nazis getting punched in the face. What's not to love? Raiders of the Lost Ark is available to stream on Netflix and for free on Channel 4.

Lindsay Lohan's top 5 movies as she returns for Freakier Friday

Freakier Friday: Jamie Lee Curtis stars in official trailer Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are back as mother and daughter in Disney's anticipated sequel, Freakier Friday. Contrary to popular belief, the pair are not 'reuniting' for this project. Instead, as Curtis boldly declared at the film's London premiere, they have always been "united." They are and have remained friends since the original Freaky Friday was released over 20 years ago. Fittingly landing in cinemas this Friday (August 8), Freakier Friday is similarly based on characters from Mary Rodgers's 1972 novel. But this time it isn't just Anna (Lohan) and her mother Tess (Curtis) who fall victim to a supernatural body swap. Other members of their family are drawn into the magical affair, which forces them to see life through each other's eyes. As fans gear up for Lohan's return to the silver screen, here are her top five films. Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen is an underrated gem (Image: George Kraychyk/Walt Disney/Kobal/REX/Shutterstock ) Landing in fifth place is this 2004 family flick directed by Sara Sugarman. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen tells an all-too-familiar tale of a teen who will do anything to be the centre of attention. The synopsis reads: "A teenage girl is convinced that her home city revolves around her until her family packs up and moves to the suburbs, where she finds herself competing for attention." Lohan stars as the titular teenager, Mary Elizabeth, whose quest for popularity is foiled by mean girl Carla Santini (played by Megan Fox). While the light-hearted comedy may not win over adult viewers, which is likely why it scored a sour 14% on Rotten Tomatoes, it hits all the marks for young audiences. Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen is streaming now on Disney+. Irish Wish is a blend of the fantasy and romance genre (Image: Netflix ) Lohan returned to her spooky Freaky Friday roots in this charming 2024 romance. Set in Ireland, Irish Wish was directed by famed producer Janeen Damian. It follows book editor Maddie (Lohan), whose wish to marry her crush comes true. However, she soon discovers that her husband-to-be is far from what she envisioned. Netflix's synopsis reads: "Maddie's dream guy is days away from marrying her best friend when a wish for true love made on an ancient stone in Ireland magically alters her fate." The romcom features an entertaining love triangle with Outlander's Ed Speleers as one of Lohan's love interests. If this drama slipped under your radar, now's the time to tune in. Irish Wish is streaming now on Netflix. Freaky Friday is still a riot 22 years on (Image: PA) Arguably one of the most iconic Disney flicks of all time, Freaky Friday could easily climb to the top of this list. Unfortunately, Lohan has too many excellent films. The synopsis reads: "Tess and her daughter, Anna, do not get along. However, things take a turn when, in a freak incident, they switch bodies and are forced to live each other's lives." Directed by Mark Waters, who also helmed Mean Girls, the family comedy boasts a stellar cast. Its leading duo are joined by NCIS' Mark Harmon, One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray and Thelma & Louise star Stephen Tobolowsky. Boasting an impressive 88% Rotten Tomatoes score, this Y2K flick has definitely stood the test of time. Freaky Friday is streaming now on Disney+. The Parent Trap is a must-watch (Image: Disney+) In second place comes The Parent Trap, which features one of Lohan's finest performances. Just 12 years old at the time, Lohan stars as separated twins Hallie and Annie, who stumble upon each other during summer camp. The synopsis reads: "Identical twins, separated shortly after birth when their parents divorce, unexpectedly meet at a summer camp. Will their scheme to switch places result in reuniting their family?" Despite sharing the screen with talented actors, including Dennis Quaid and the late Natasha Richardson, Lohan shines. Although it doesn't clinch the number one spot, this Nancy Meyers-directed comedy is a must-watch. The Parent Trap is streaming now on Disney+. Mean Girls is still Lohan's best film (Image: Michael Gibson/Paramount/Kobal/REX/Shutterstock) Claiming the victory is Mean Girls, which has maintained its grip on pop culture for decades. Also directed by Mark Waters, it brilliantly captures the quirks of teenagerhood. The synopsis reads: "Cady joins a public school in Illinois. Her two classmates warn her to stay away from a coterie of girls led by queen bee Regina, but Cady joins them. However, she gets smitten with Regina's ex-love." From its iconic one-liners to its impressive ensemble, including Rachel McAdams and Tina Fey, it doesn't get better than this 2004 comedy. Mean Girls is streaming now on Netflix. Freakier Friday lands in cinemas on Friday, August 8

Lindsay Lohan reveals what she would have done differently during her rollercoaster years in Hollywood

Lindsay Lohan has revealed what she would have done differently during her rollercoaster years in Hollywood after her major career comeback. The actress, 39, rose to fame as a child star and went on to nab major roles throughout her teenage years, including in 2003's Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. However, she then faced widely publicized struggles, including multiple arrests for DUI, theft, and cocaine possession, as well as several stints in rehab that sidelined her Hollywood career. Now, as she returns to screen with the Freaky Friday sequel, Lindsay has revealed that she would say 'no' a lot more if she could go back and do it all again. She told The Sun: 'I was always such a ''yes'' person to my agents and everyone that no one ever really took the time to ask me, ''Do you wanna chill for a second?'' 'And if I knew then what I know now, I'd definitely have used the word ''no'' a lot more.' Lindsay (pictured in 2003) faced widely publicized struggles, including multiple arrests for DUI, theft, and cocaine possession, as well as several stints in rehab that sidelined her career Lindsay went from being America's sweetheart as a Disney star to experiencing many turbulent years in the public eye. She spent years battling addiction - leading to her own run-ins with the law, as well as numerous rehab visits. It began to affect her career and she was thrown off movie sets, kicked out of roles, and forced to cancel appearances, casting doubt on whether her career would ever recover. After a string of critically-panned roles, she decided to pursue other endeavours instead, and he opened a nightclub in Athens, Greece, in 2016, followed by a successful beach resort on the Greek island Mykonos. Around that time, she also decided to give up her life in Hollywood and relocate to Dubai, which she called a 'fresh start' to Emirates Women in a 2018 interview. 'Moving here was a fresh start,' she said. 'You hear more about real current events rather than celebrity gossip, which I really appreciate.' The former child star added that her lifestyle in Dubai was quite the opposite of that in LA, and that she was thoroughly enjoying stepping away from the spotlight to live a 'normal life'. Alongside her move to the Middle East, Lindsay also tied the knot with financier Bader Shammas, and they welcomed their first child together last year. In 2022, Lindsay finally kickstarted her return to acting with her role in Falling For Christmas. It was then revealed she'd signed a new deal with Netflix to star in two more films for the streaming service. 'We're so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we're thrilled to continue our partnership with her,' Netflix's Director of Independent Film Christina Rogers said. 'We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world.' The first in Lindsay's two-picture deal, Irish Wish, hit Netflix earlier last year, and saw her star opposite English actor Ed Speleers and Alexander Vlahos. The film saw Lindsay star as Maddie, a book editor whose world crumbles when her secret crush gets engaged to her closest friend. After reluctantly accepting the role of bridesmaid for the wedding in Ireland, Maddie soon realizes her heart's true desire lies elsewhere. While the film earned negative reviews from critics, and was described as 'a scattering of rom-com cliches,' Variety noted that Lindsay 'hasn't lost her ability to light up a scene'. Lindsay's sequel to Freaky Friday, called Freakier Friday, is also hitting screens on August 8, with excitement building up for the long-awaited release. She has reunited on screen with Jamie-Lee Curtis, who played her on-screen mother, for the sequel, more than 20 years after the original was filmed.
