Bold Beauty Looks Seen at the Men's Spring 2026 Shows in Milan

Yahoo28-06-2025
MILAN — The men's spring 2026 shows here displayed collections filled with relaxed tailoring and a new approach to color — from pastel hues telegraphing a gentle masculinity to pops of vibrant shades for a more energizing injection of optimism.
Hair and makeup followed suit. The overall natural beauty looks were revved up by occasional bold options here and there. Cue the fire-red hair dye and pointy hairstyles curated by Lorenzo Barcella and the Wella Professionals team that popped up at the show Vivienne Westwood staged outside a Milanese café.

They came second only to the looks seen on the Fiorucci runway, where shaved heads became a canvas for artist Janina Zaïs, who covered them in baby blue to paint cute poodles and ribbons, or flashy yellow to stencil the brand's logo in a look that recalled a tennis ball. Another model also had his hair, face and torso turned into an artwork depicting Fiorucci's signature cupids.
For a less invasive statement look, one can look at the Setchu show, where makeup artist Anthony Preel opted for sky blue and emerald green as hues of preference to add a pop of color to models' lips or spotlight their gaze with graphic shapes around the eyes.
Even at Emporio Armani there was a touch of eccentricity, matching a daring collection that evoked seminal campaigns from the '90s shot in Morocco. In sync with the exotic vibe, hair was carefully parted in tufts, each gelled, twisted and punctuated by little metal clips doubling as ornaments.
Hairstylist Louis Ghewy worked on a different concept with designer Luca Magliano, who forwent the runway format in favor of a short movie set on a ferry. Some of his characters had manes coiffed in extra volumes, others ruffled as the wind on the deck had its way with them.

‘Superman' and ‘Star Wars' Actor Terence Stamp Dies at Age 87

English actor Terence Stamp, seen across a variety of film and TV over the decades, has passed away at 87 years old. In a statement to Reuters, the actor's family revealed he passed on Sunday morning. Born July 22, 1938, he made his film debut with the 1962 adaptation of Herman Melville's Billy Budd as the title character. The role earned him an Academy Award nomination and recognition that allowed him to star in films like 1965's The Collector 1967's Poor Cow. Genre-wise, Terence Stamp famously played General Zod in the first two Superman movies, and Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Other notable roles include Stick in 2005's Elektra, Bud Chantilas in Red Planet, and Ramsley in Disney's 2003 Haunted Mansion. Stamp would later return to DC for Smallville (as Jor-El) and Static Shock (Professor Menace), and voiced the Prophet of Truth in Halo 3 and Mankar Camoran in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Grilled Beef Loves Beefy Tomatoes

Today we have for you: A grilled steak recipe that's really all about the tomatoes Our best gazpacho And, a pasta alla vodka with a cool twist Good morning. The tomatoes are in where I stay, fat and brimming with flavor, almost aching in their pulchritude. They're best eaten uncooked, warm from the sun. I'd like to use some tonight for a grilled steak with tomato tartare (above), a smoke-kissed, tomato-forward variation on steak tartare, with rare beef paired with the deep, sweet acidity of chopped heirloom tomatoes and the classic sharp flavors of shallots, capers and chives. Grill some toast to go with it and serve over a thatch of watercress. Featured Recipe View Recipe → Alternatively (you ate steak last night, you're out of charcoal or propane, maybe there's a child home for the summer, newly vegetarian), you could just cut up some tomatoes, pile them onto bread, call it a meal. I had a version of that at the restaurant Houseman in New York the other evening and have been dreaming of it ever since: tomatoes and smoked mayonnaise on focaccia. You certainly could smoke oil for mayonnaise (15 or 20 minutes in a shallow pan should do it). But if you're not up for that adventure, you don't need to. Just chop some tomatoes into a bowl and salt them well. Toast your focaccia. Then — and this is key — absolutely trowel your favorite mayonnaise onto the bread before piling it with tomatoes to serve with a knife and fork. 'Absolutely trowel,' Houseman's chef, Ned Baldwin, confirmed in a text message. 'That's the gesture I'm going for, man. 100 percent.' Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

William & Kate's Shady Nickname For Meghan's Brand Proves Exactly How They Feel About Her

The issues between Prince William and Prince Harry are well-documented at this point. King Charles and Prince Harry are reportedly taking steps towards reconciliation, but no one's suggesting the same is true of Prince William and his brother, too. In fact, the reported issues between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle only add another wrinkle to a feud that doesn't seem like it'll be resolved anytime soon. Proof is in the recent report of how William and Kate's friends refer to Markle's brand, As Ever. A royal source told the Daily Mail that the rebrand of the company made friends of the couple give the brand a new nickname: 'As If.' More from StyleCaster Kate Delivers Emotional Statement With William a Day After Their Serious Health Alert Serious Health Alert Issued Weeks After Kate Revealed She Still Can't 'Function Normally' Post-Cancer Related: Did William really cheat on Kate? Reportedly, the meaning behind 'as if' is 'as if it will take off.' One reportedly said, 'It's caused quite a bit of laughter within the group. WhatsApp messages have been going back and forth. It's all very budget and rushed. Embarrassing, really.' There's no confirmation on whether this is a name William and Kate also use, but it's far from the first not-so-nice nickname reported for Meghan Markle. The royal staff allegedly referred to her as 'Duchess Difficult,' due to her tendency to send an 'incessant stream of ideas' as early as 5 a.m. There were also reports that her style of management was something 'veteran royal aides just aren't used to.' In many ways, this sounds like a culture clash as the UK and the US have very different ideas of what work-life balance means, with people in the US more used to working long days and often starting the day much earlier. All of this comes after Kate Middleton's longtime right-hand woman, Natasha Archer, departed her position and quickly unfollowed Meghan Markle on social media, as well as her close friends, something that was taken as a sign that the relationship between Middleton and Markle is as frosty as the relationship between their spouses seems to be at the moment. Archer also unfollowed the As Ever brand page, which has been at the center of so many recent reports of controversy with the royal family. There have also been recent reports that William was always skeptical about Markle, ever since Prince Harry originally introduced her to the family. Royal biographer and commentator Phil Dampier told the Sun that Markle was more interested in fame and fortune. 'She saw as a stepping stone getting married to Harry to new fame and fortune. And I think that's what initially Prince William was concerned about.' Dampier also said this contributed to the issues between the brothers, 'That's why they fell out. And now we are where we are.' King Charles and Prince Harry are taking steps towards fixing their relationship. But there's no telling whether Prince William and Prince Harry, and by extension Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, can ever find common ground again. And reports like this one make it clear that, even if they should ever want to, there's still a long road ahead— not just for them, but for everyone else in their lives.
