'Jurassic World Rebirth' releases on digital this week: Where to watch
In the five years after the events of "Jurassic World Dominion," the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs and those remaining only exist in "isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived," the film's synopsis says.
"The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind," it adds.
Zora Bennett (Scarlet Johansson) is tasked to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material.
Stream Jurassic World Rebirth
USA TODAY's Brian Truitt gave the film ★★½ out of four, writing "director Gareth Edwards at least tries something different by throwing a heist movie into the usual perilous adventure."
"But homages to Steven Spielberg's 1993 original, a starry cast (including Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali) and dinos aplenty can only do so much when saddled with generic characters and a rickety plot," Truitt says, adding "this franchise probably should have been extinct a while ago. We're stuck with it, though, so might as well go with the pterosaur flow."

When will 'Jurassic World Rebirth' be released digitally?
"Jurassic World Rebirth" will be available to buy and rent on digital platforms, such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, on Tuesday, Aug. 5, according to the film's website.
"Jurassic World Rebirth" was released in theaters July 2.

'Jurassic World Rebirth' 4K Blu-ray/DVD release
"Jurassic World Rebirth" will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Sept. 9, per Universal Pictures.
The studio, in a news release, said the digital and Blu-ray version of the movie will offer exclusive bonus features, such as "never-before-seen deleted scenes with extra dinosaur mayhem, an alternate opening, a long-form making-of documentary detailing the film's jaw-dropping visuals, sound design," as well as a gag reel among other things.

Will 'Jurassic World Rebirth' come out on Peacock?
Universal Pictures' films typically release on Peacock a few months after their theatrical release, which means "Jurassic World Rebirth" could drop on the streaming platform sometime in late October or early November. However, neither the studio nor the streaming platform has made an official announcement regarding the film's streaming release.
The six previous "Jurassic" movies are all streaming on Peacock.
"Jurassic Park," "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic Park III" were also available to stream on Netflix at the time of publish.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth' 4K Blu-Ray Details Revealed—Including Hours Of Bonus Features
While Jurassic World Rebirth might still be rumbling through the global cinema jungle like a rampage of T-Rexes, adding to a worldwide cinematic take that already exceeds three quarters of a billion dollars, Universal has already announced details of its blockbuster's home video release. Including a 4K Blu-ray release that promises many hours of bonus features and what looks set to be (on paper, anyway) formidable picture and sound quality. The Jurassic World Rebirth 4K Blu-ray is scheduled to arrive on September 9 - just over a month after the film debuts to own or rent on streaming platforms today (August 5). The film's 4K disc master will get a Dolby Atmos soundtrack (Universal seems to have moved on from its old practice of using DTS mixes on its Jurassic Park/World disc releases), while the video will be presented in 4K resolution, of course, with a Dolby Vision HDR transfer. This Dolby Vision master will, as ever, default to core HDR10, minus Dolby Vision's extra scene by scene image data, for people who don't own DV-capable 4K Blu-ray players or TVs. Universal's press information states that the two-hour 13-minute film is going to be mastered onto a 100Gb 4K Blu-ray disc rather than the 66Gb alternative. Hopefully Universal's claims here will prove more accurate than Disney's claims that its recent release of Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World would get a 100GB disc proved to be… The 100GB disc should give the picture quality more room to breathe, meaning less potential for compression artefacts and softness to creep in – as well as helping the discs accommodate the extremely healthy collection of extra features Universal has assembled to accompany the movie. There's literally hours of bonus stuff for film fans to get their teeth into. Starting with not one but two feature-length commentary tracks: One featuring director Gareth Edwards, production designer James Clyne and first assistant director Jack Ravenscroft, and one featuring director Edwards again, but this time joined by editor Jabez Olssen and visual effects supervisor David Vickery. Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson's ‘Marriage Story' fight scene is being used to scare wolves
An explosive argument between Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson 's characters in ' Marriage Story ' is doing what fences can't: keeping wolves away from local farms. The tense scene in the 2019 film is among several audio clips that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has been broadcasting to scare off grey wolves that have been eating livestock from farms along the West Coast, according to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal. USDA District Supervisor Paul Wolf, who introduced the method, told the WSJ that the goal is to get the wolves to fear humans. 'I need the wolves to respond and know that, hey, humans are bad,' he said. The new method uses drone cowhands and thermal cameras to shine spotlights on wolves lurking in the shadows, sounding off a loudspeaker with alarming sounds, such as the 'Marriage Story' clip. 'Marriage Story,' directed by Noah Baumbach, centers on a strained couple going through a bitter divorce and custody battle. The Academy Award-winning drama has since become known for its grueling depiction of marital struggles. Baumbach, whose partner is Sacramento native and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Greta Gerwig, previously told Entertainment Weekly that the scene was the 'most difficult' he has ever shot in his decades-long career. The new families are living in parts of Northern California, including Shasta County east of Redding, central Lassen County and eastern Tehama County. The area's growing wolf population has already proven to be challenging for local ranchers. Quincy rancher Dan Greenwood previously told the Chronicle that he counted more than 25 dead cows and calves due to wolves, noting that he is 'beyond frustrated' with the situation. Others have reported that they are 'losing cattle daily.'
