Joanna Page is best known for her lead role as Barry Island's own Stacey in Gavin and Stacey, as well as appearing as 'Just Judy', the body double who performs sex scenes alongside fellow actor John (Martin Freeman) in Love Actually.
However, when the Swansea born actress appeared on ITV's Loose Women on Wednesday, June 11, she confessed to the panel how she had always wanted a rather unconventional job.

Joanna appeared alongside panellists Christine Lampard, Janet Street-Porter, Jane Moore and Grace Keeling (GK Barry) who asked her about a potential career move.

Grace went on to ask the actress: "I'm really intrigued about what I've heard, and it's the new career move. Something to do with a sex therapist?" For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
Joanna then confessed to the panel: "I've always wanted to become a sex therapist.
"I've always wanted to train as a relationship counsellor, because I'm interested in chatting to people and their relationships and, you know, listening to their problems and what's happened and how I can talk to them about it.

She joked: "I imagine, though, that you guys are probably going to ruin this next career move of mine. I want this to happen, it would be iconic. Yeah, I'd love to do that."
Joanna continued to explain how she often gave advice to those around her, and told the Loose Women a story of how she helped one delivery driver much to the dismay of her husband James.
She explained: "I've been in the house and I've had, you know, like delivery drivers coming round and they've dropped off a delivery and then James is going, 'oh my gosh, it's 20 minutes later, where is she?' and I've been in the back of the van talking to the driver."

Panellist Janet Street Porter joked: "Doing it for nothing?"
Joanna said: "He' just been like, 'well I don't know what to do with my relationship, with my girlfriend. What do you think?' and James caught me in the back. He was like 'are you alright?' and I said 'yeah I'll be out in a minute. I'm just talking to him about his relationship with his girlfriend and what he should do'."
Janet replied: "Before you train as a counsellor, I can see you'd be very good if they can get a word in edgeways," leaving Joanna laughing.

The Swansea-born actress was on the show to discuss her upcoming book, Lush! The book discusses, "From Swansea to Stacey and Everything in Between" and will be released at the end of September.
Joanna told the Loose Women how she had been writing the book in a local car park, to avoid the distractions of her kids. She said: " I hand them over at 5pm to James and then I'll get in the car and I'll drive down to this local car park of this pub, which is changing hands, so there's nobody there.

"I park in the car park until 1am and I write and then I get scared so I drive to another car park which is slightly closer to home. I sit there until 3am and then I drive home, park outside the front of the house. I don't go in because Boe will sense me and I sit there until 5am. I then go back into the house and sleep for two hours, get up at 7am and get them ready for school."
She joked that coffee was the only thing that was keeping her awake on the show, before recounting that writing the book was like therapy as she looked back at her life and admitting that she wanted to do more acting.

We lost an eye-watering £250k on ITV's The Fortune Hotel - here's why we have NO regrets thanks to moments cut from show

They were the first duo to secretly receive the £250,000 on the new series of The Fortune Hotel, but brothers Jake and Mike saw a cruel twist of fate unfurl. In series two of the ITV show, fronted by Stephen Mangan, a brutal twist meant that Mike, 33, and Jake, 29, were dealt the early checkout card and sent packing. On night one, the duo received the fortune case but got cold feet and gave it away after suspecting their moves might have led another couple to find out they had the money. The energy surveyor and construction worker swapped the eye-watering amount of cash with retired couple Fred and Min's case, which they knew was empty as they were fortune holders. The next night, James and Yasmin sealed Jake and Mike's fate when they swapped their case with theirs and the brothers were sent home with the early checkout card. But the brothers don't regret their game play and being sent home so soon, especially thanks to being treated to four days at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean before having to head home. Speaking to Yahoo UK, Mike admitted: 'We don't regret it... in hindsight, we'd have probably played it a little different.' Jake added: 'It felt right at the time, I didn't want to upset anybody [by giving the checkout card], so we thought we'd just be fair, put it to the back of the line. 'But in the end it turned out to be our downfall, didn't it?' Jake shared that they felt they had no choice but to give away the case because the early checkout card could have come their way. In a clip of the first episode, the players were given some very shocking news from presenter Stephen, 57. After stepping out of a fancy car, Stephen walked towards the pairs in a light blue suit as they all gave him a big cheer. He told them: 'Welcome to Grenada airport. How are you all doing? I expect you are all wondering what is going on? 'Well, we're here to play a game and it will result in one pair heading home with a life changing amount of money. Your first challenge is to find a room key and take it to the hotel. The next night, James and Yasmin sealed Jake and Mike's fate when they swapped their case with theirs and the brothers were sent home with the early checkout card 'But there are 11 pairs here - and there are only 10 rooms available at the Fortune Hotel.' The contestants gasped in absolute shock. The Fortune Hotel premiered last year on ITV and follows The synopsis reads: 'You can't trust anyone at The Fortune Hotel. Join Stephen Mangan at a luxury resort filled with glamour and deception as pairs of contestants compete for £250K.' The programme's podcast, Late Check Out, is hosted by funny woman Ellie Taylor.

Loose Women pulled off air as host begs viewers to get involved in show amid budget cuts

Loose Women has been pulled off-air for the rest of the week in yet another shakeup for the broadcaster and one of its stars made a desperate to plea to viewers as they announced the news Loose Women has been pulled off-air for the rest of the week in yet another shakeup for the broadcaster. The ITV chat show normally airs weekday lunchtimes, and stars such as Ruth Langsford, Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter amongst a host of others discuss the topics of the day. ‌ But on Tuesday's episode, anchor Christine Lampard welcomed a new presenter onto the set alongside her co-stars Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore, while JoJo Siwa later appeared to discuss her relationship with Chris Hughes. Lee Peart is a stand-up comedian who has acted as the warmup act for the show's live studio audience for a number of years but he was brought out on live television to present the competitions segment for that day. ‌ The role is normally covered by the likes of This Morning's Josie Gibson, Big Brother winner Kate Lawler or X Factor star Jake Quickenden amongst a host of others, and sometimes comes in live from a various locations abroad. ‌ But as Lee made his debut on the programme to let viewers know how they could be in with a chance of winning £60,000, he dropped the bombshell that the lunchtime ladies will not be on air over the coming days, which Christine later clarified was thanks to the racing. He said: "Lines close on Friday and I will say, this is actually the last Loose Women of the week, so get your entry in if you want to do that!" It comes amid a plethora of budget cuts for ITV, which will see both Loose Women and Lorraine Kelly's eponymous programme cut to 30 weeks of the year. Earlier this year, it was also reported that ITV's soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale will also be slashing cast members to save on the budget. During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am. This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year, while Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot for a seasonal basis of 30 weeks too. Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, explained of the huge changes: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres. ‌ "I recognise that our plans will have an impact on staff off screen in our Daytime production teams." He added: "We will work with ITV Studios and ITN as they manage these changes to produce the shows differently from next year, and support them through this transition. "Daytime has been a core element of ITV's schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade."

Frankie Bridge uses this £34 setting spray to stop her makeup melting on Loose Women

Frankie Bridge revealed that she does her own makeup before Loose Women with a glimpse at her go-to beauty routine including the setting spray that stops her makeup melting on set You'd be forgiven for thinking that just about everyone who appears on TV has a glam squad at their disposal to do all their hair and makeup before their appearance. However Frankie Bridge has revealed that she does her own makeup when she posted 'A little GRWM routine before Loose Women ' video on Instagram. As a regular panellist on the show Frankie clearly has her routine down to a fine art, and knows how to make sure it lasts despite the hours on set under hot studio lights. And one item in her routine is to thank for that; the KOSAS Cloud Set Airy Setting Mist. Frankie applies the setting spray as the last step in her routine, and it's the secret to keeping all of her hard work firmly in place, with no smudging or separating no matter how hot it is in the studio. The setting spray is £34, but for the price you get a huge 100ml bottle that should last you a while, and considering how flawless Frankie's makeup always looks, it comes highly recommended. The KOSAS Cloud Set Airy Setting Mist is oil-free, which helps prevent your makeup from separating or becoming cakey after application. Instead it has an ultra-fine, airy mist spray that settles in a light layer across your skin, locking your products in place without changing their appearance. It also helps get rid of shine without looking matte or chalky so you can maintain your glow, with a hydrating formula that improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of pores. If you prefer something that adds even more glow to your skin, Refy's Face Setter (£22) is a hydrating skincare mist and makeup setting spray in one, which leaves your skin with a natural-looking dewy finish. Alternatively, if you prefer a more matte, shine-free finish, the ONE/SIZE On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray (£32) is ideal. Not only does it mattify skin, but it's fully waterproof making it a great choice for holidays or watersports activities. The KOSAS Cloud Set Airy Setting Mist however also allows your skin to breathe underneath it, rather than creating a mask-like film over the top, which stops it feeling dry, tight or sticky. Whilst it's mainly used directly after applying makeup, you can also use it throughout the day for a refreshing top up. Sephora shoppers have also been raving about it, with one saying: ' The way this mist sets makeup should be studied. It instantly transforms your makeup to a weightless, skin-like finish. It also mists with great diffusion for a perfect application. My skin can get oily so I can also appreciate that I didn't get greasy with this spray. Kosas always meets the expectation.' Another agreed: 'This setting spray is absolutely amazing! I was a bit hesitant with trying a newer setting spray but this one set my makeup really nicely. the mister on the bottle is also the perfect because just enough comes out without drenching your face.' Some were less taken with it, with one writing: 'As a facial mist this is fine, but as a setting spray it does absolutely nothing.' Whilst a second said: 'This spray feels amazing on my skin. However, it doesn't make my makeup last any longer. I haven't seen skin improvement. This is lovely but I don't think it actually has a purpose. If you want a makeup setting spray, look to Hourglass or Urban Decay.' But others can't get enough of the KOSAS Cloud Set Airy Setting Mist, with one happy customer writing: 'Best setting spray on market for mature skin. Worth the money!'
