A jar of E.l.f. Holy Hydration! face cream with SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen and hyaluronic acid because reviewers say they would recommend this more than expensive, fancy-pants moisturizers. Being hydrated as heck and saving some money? Literally, name a more iconic duo.
Note: Based on the AAD Guidelines all sunscreens should have an SPF of at least 30 and protect against UVA and UVB rays.Promising review: "I recently purchased this out of curiosity after reading several reviews as I'm still trying to find my perfect fit moisturizer for my skincare routine. I love this one for daytime use! The texture is so creamy it glides on easily, and my skin feels soft and moisturized for most of the day. It has a light fragrance, but I find it very pleasant and doesn't irritate my senses or skin. I also love that this has SPF in it. I have used many different high-dollar brand-name moisturizers, and I would absolutely repurchase and recommend this one above them all at this point." — veitah1Price: $13
A pair of over-ear wired headphones that I personally cannot believe are this affordable because their psychedelic swirl design makes them look like you bought them at one of those expensive home goods stores where, like, a pen costs $15.
Promising review: "My kids love them! They work great compared to more expensive ones that don't last long! I've used them as well when my earbuds are dead." —JenPrice: $12.74 (originally $14.99)
A minimalist belt bag for folks looking for a chic way to cart around their phone, wallet, and lip balm. If you carry a traditional bag that seems to accumulate junk until it feels so heavy, you're worried your shoulder will get pulled out of its socket (~guilty~); this is a good way to strip down to basics — and give your poor shoulder a break.
Promising reviews: 'This bag is very cute and holds so much! Definitely a good quality and easy to clean. Highly recommend for any age.' —L"The tan color looks sophisticated without being expensive. Another great product by Target!" —CPrice: $10 (available in six colors)
A dry-erase calendar that is going to make you wonder how you lived without it. Its thin gold frame makes it look like part of your gallery wall, and it's magnetized, so you can attach important invitations and receipts — or just photos of extremely cute dogs to keep your energy up throughout your workday.
Promising review: "This is a nicely sized dry-erase board to write in my family's monthly schedule. Helps keep us organized at a glance; we use a different color for each person. I enjoy using it!" —JennyNHPrice: $12.99
An adorable solar-powered LED outdoor light because warm weather is finally upon us — grabbing a few of these to light up the night will help you maximize your outdoor time. Plus, they can also charge via USB, just in case you get a run of cloudy days.
Promising review: "I kinda bought this impulsively, not because I needed it but because I just LOVED how it looked. It has a charger you can use by plugging into the wall and a solar panel on top. There are two settings—on/off and on-when-dark-detected/off. The button is a touch button; nothing actually presses down. While it's very lightweight and probably all plastic inside, the outer layer is metal. It gives off an impressive amount of light for something so small and battery-powered! It comes in many great colors, but I decided on the green. It's really beautiful!" —BreannadPrice: $10.50 (originally $15.99; available in six colors)
A Kristen Ess deep conditioning hair treatment for folks struggling with dry or damaged hair who would like a salon-level deep conditioning treatment, but here's the twist! — I would like it to not cost one bazillion dollars. Reviewers say this masque is salon-grade, and a whole jar costs about the same as one fancy salad.

Has lasted me a long time.' —Carlee"I really love this hair mask! I use it once per week after shampooing, and it leaves my hair so soft and smooth like I just left the salon! The smell is so nice too. Not too strong, which I love." —Dear Katy Price: $17.99

A vacuum wine preserver, because there are few kitchen tragedies on par with pouring a nice glass of wine, only to find that it has turned...skunky. Oxygen is the thing that turns wine from "full-bodied, with notes of caramel" to "YIKES." This handy tool pumps oxygen out of your bottle, and the stoppers seal it, helping your wine stay delicious for longer.
Promising review: 'Wonderful wine pump! Works beautifully. Where have you been all my life? Highly recommend it. Worth it. Just a few dollars more than an ordinary wine pump.' —Mickey Price: $18.99

A hydrating facial cleanser that wasn't just developed with dermatologists — many (including mine!) recommend it over the extremely expensive stuff you'd buy at a beauty store. And if you opt for this big ol' 16-ounce bottle, it will help you clean off impurities without stripping away your skin's natural moisture for a long, loooong time.
Promising review: "I have tried every face wash, spot treatment, acne medication, birth control, and professional facial service under the sun, and I have had acne since I was 17. I use the a.m. and p.m. moisturizer, too; this was really a godsend." —Ks97Price: $6.49+ (available in four sizes)
A microgel down alternative pillow because I know what you're thinking: it only costs $15?? Is this pillow made from old socks and sawdust?? HARDLY. This medium-firm pillow is made with micro-gel, so it can hold its shape and support your head as well as some much pricier models.
Promising review: "Some of the best pillows I've owned so far. I love how the packaging has a meter on it as well. These pillows bounce back unlike any other pillow I've slept on. For $15 each, this is definitely a bargain." —oreofox22Price: $15+ (available in standard and king sizes)

A fold-up camp chair, because every year, summer arrives, and you realize that you need more outdoor chairs for camping, beach trips, concerts, and having guests chill in your backyard while you serve them burgers (but they must address you as "The Barbecue Wizard" while you do it). This model is about as affordable as they come, but reviewers say it's still ultra-comfy.
Promising review: "We've bought three of these chairs now because they're the perfect size—especially for adults, including men. They're not flimsy or too small like some others we've tried. You promise yourself that this is the week you'll finally stick to that flawless, multi-step skincare routine you saw on Instagram: cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen and maybe a jade roller for good measure. But then, reality hits. You're running late. Your coffee spills. You forgot your keys. And suddenly, the elaborate ritual becomes a rushed splash of water and a prayer that your skin forgives you. But what if your skincare routine didn't have to be so complicated? What if you could get hydration, sun protection and anti-aging benefits, all in one easy step? Advertisement That's the genius behind IMAGE Skincare's DAILY PREVENTION collection — a lineup of advanced, multi-functional moisturizers with built-in broad-spectrum SPF. These aren't your basic sunscreens that sit on top of your skin and make you look like a chalky ghost. These are high-performance, skin-loving formulas designed for real life. IMAGE Skincare Whether you're commuting, chasing kids, working outdoors or doing all of the above, DAILY PREVENTION works with your routine, not against it. At the heart of the collection is IMAGE's exclusive, patent-pending XOSM Technology, a delivery system that boosts the effectiveness of active ingredients. This means each product not only protects your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, but also delivers deep hydration, reinforces the skin's barrier and helps prevent signs of premature aging like dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. In short? These products do the absolute most, so you don't have to. Let's walk through the collection, one skin-saving favorite at a time. First up: the SPF 30 Nourishing Lip Balm. If you've ever dealt with dry, cracked, sunburned lips (and let's be honest, who hasn't?), this little tube will be your new BFF. IMAGE Skincare It glides on like a dream, smooth and silky, never sticky, and instantly soothes and hydrates. With SPF 30 built in, it protects your lips from sun damage while helping to prevent the fine lines and loss of volume that can show up over time. It's pocket-sized, swipe-on-and-go easy, and perfect for tossing in your bag for reapplication throughout the day. Next, meet the SPF 30 Clear Solar Gel, a completely invisible sunscreen that's basically magic in a bottle. This luxurious, weightless gel feels more like a primer than an SPF. IMAGE Skincare It disappears into your skin without a trace, no white cast, no greasy residue and zero flashback in photos. It's oil-free and fragrance-free, so it's great for all skin types — including oily, acne-prone or sensitive skin. You can wear it under makeup or on its own. It's also water-resistant, making it perfect for workouts, beach days or anytime life gets a little sweaty. If you're looking to simplify your morning routine even further, say hello to the SPF 30 Sun Serum Tinted. This multitasking superstar combines sun protection, hydration and a sheer tint in one lightweight serum. IMAGE Skincare It smooths out your complexion and gives your skin a radiant, natural glow while helping to fight discoloration and early signs of aging. Think of it as your skin's daily glow-up, no foundation required. Plus, the finish is breathable and dewy without ever feeling heavy or greasy. It's perfect for those 'no makeup' makeup days when you want your skin to look like skin. Just better. For days when you need extra protection (think summer vacations, long hikes or full days in the sun), the SPF 75 Advanced SmartBlend Mineral Moisturizer is your heavy-duty hero. With SPF 75 and mineral-based filters, it offers high-powered defense against sun damage while still managing to blend beautifully into all skin tones. IMAGE Skincare Thanks to IMAGE's advanced XOSM Technology, this formula doesn't just protect your skin—it also reinforces the skin barrier, hydrates deeply and reduces redness. It's especially great for sensitive skin or post-treatment care, when your skin needs a little extra love and a lot of protection. If you want a hardworking everyday moisturizer that still packs serious SPF, the SPF 50 Ultra Defense Moisturizer is for you. It delivers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection while hydrating and nourishing your skin throughout the day. IMAGE Skincare It's lightweight but powerful, perfect for daily wear under makeup or on bare skin. Over time, it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines while keeping your skin soft, comfortable and protected. It's the kind of product you can rely on year-round, whether you're walking the dog or walking into an important meeting. For those chasing that healthy, no-makeup glow, the SPF 30 Pure Mineral Tinted Moisturizer delivers just the right amount of coverage. This breathable formula evens out your skin tone and leaves a luminous finish that looks fresh, not cake-y. IMAGE Skincare It's made with mineral sunscreen filters, which are gentler on sensitive skin and ideal for post-treatment care or anyone prone to redness or irritation. The lightweight tint provides a boost of confidence while the SPF 30 keeps your skin safe from sun damage. It's the ultimate 'your skin but better' product. Last but definitely not least, let's talk about the unsung hero of SPF: reapplication. We all know we're supposed to reapply sunscreen every two hours, especially when we're outside — but who really wants to slather lotion over their carefully blended makeup at lunchtime? That's why the Protect + Refresh Mist SPF 40 is a game-changer. This hydrating dry-oil face mist provides broad-spectrum sun protection with a sheer, barely-there glow. It's enriched with nourishing meadowfoam seed and buriti fruit oils, plus a blend of powerful antioxidants like vitamin C, ectoin, and astaxanthin-rich microalgae. It's the perfect mid-day pick-me-up for your skin. Just close your eyes, spritz and glow. Beyond the products themselves, the story behind IMAGE Skincare is what sets the brand apart. Founded in 2003 by aesthetician Janna Ronert, IMAGE was born out of a desire to create clean, clinical-grade skincare that actually works. With the expertise of her husband, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Marc Ronert, the brand combines scientific innovation with the best of nature's botanicals. All of IMAGE's formulas are cruelty-free, physician-formulated and loved by skincare professionals around the world. The bottom line The DAILY PREVENTION collection is a roster of products that effortlessly fits into your life. There's no complicated layering, no guesswork and no need to sacrifice quality for convenience. You get hydration, UV protection, and anti-aging support all in one simple step, so you can spend less time stressing over your skincare and more time doing whatever makes you feel good. Whether you're heading to the beach, hitting the gym or just grabbing coffee with friends, your skin deserves to be protected — and it shouldn't take a full-time job to make that happen. With DAILY PREVENTION™, your skincare works just as hard as you do. Every product is designed to deliver results you can see and feel, without slowing you down. So go ahead. Ditch the 12-step routine. Say goodbye to greasy SPF. And, let IMAGE Skincare help you glow smarter, not harder. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. More than 800,000 home fragrance diffusers sold at major outlets nationwide have been recalled due to concerns that the product poses a serious choking hazard to children. Pura Scents issued a nationwide recall of its Pura 4 Smart Home Fragrance with detachable covers after reports surfaced that magnets inside the covers can detach. The recall, effective July 24, affects approximately 851,400 units sold in the United States and an additional 1,100 units in Canada. The products were available through major retailers, including Target, Amazon, Scheels, and others, from August 2023 through May 2025 and retailed for $50, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Newsweek reached out to Pura Scents' general support department and its cofounder via email on Monday for comment. The recalled Pura 4 Smart Home Fragrance Diffusers. The recalled Pura 4 Smart Home Fragrance Diffusers. cpsc Why It Matters The recall highlighted critical child safety issues with products commonly found in U.S. homes. "When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting and/or blockage of the intestines, infection, blood poisoning and death," the CPSC said in an alert on the recall. This recall follows a series of other recent product recalls at major U.S. retailers, including Target, involving food items, nursery furniture, and additional home goods, underscoring ongoing risks for American consumers and the importance of prompt recall compliance. What To Know The recall pertains to Pura 4 Smart Home Fragrance Diffusers with detachable covers containing five internal magnets—three small and two larger ones. Serial numbers for affected units range from JX230000001 to JX230801425 and JX240000001 to JX240049959, as printed on the rear label above the metal prongs. The 4-inch-by-4-inch diffusers were imported by Pura Scents Inc. and manufactured in China. Pura Scents received three reports of magnets detaching from the cover. As of the recall date, no injuries were reported. Customers who purchased these devices through or in-store locations are instructed to remove and dispose of the detachable cover immediately, keep the device away from children and pets, and contact Pura for a free replacement cover. The company said it is proactively contacting all known purchasers directly. Consumers should phone Pura Scents toll-free at 855-394-5292 (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. MT), email replacement@ or visit Pura's product recall site for more details and to request a replacement front cover. Additional guidance explains how to safely dispose of the original detachable covers while awaiting replacements. This recall comes amid a spate of product recalls affecting Target and similar retailers in 2025. Recent examples include the recall of YoCrunch Yogurts for plastic contamination, RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches for allergen mislabeling, and Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon for potential Listeria contamination. What People Are Saying Consumer Product Safety Commission's recall announcement on July 24 said: "Consumers should immediately remove the detachable covers from the recalled diffusers, dispose of the covers out of reach of children and pets, and contact Pura Scents to receive a free replacement front cover." What Happens Next Pura Scents is distributing free replacement covers to impacted customers and has pledged to continue outreach until all defective products are addressed. Consumers are advised to monitor the CPSC recall portal and company communications for updates.
