What's in your cart? 'Real Housewives' star Bethenny Frankel's top summer beauty buys Shop must-have products that Frankel swears by from Thayers, GlamWave and more
Bethenny Frankel knows good products.
The former "Real Housewives of New York City" star might've gotten her start in the world of reality TV, but the mogul has gone on to build a pretty robust fandom for herself far beyond the Bravo universe. With her sharp wit, unfiltered honesty and captivating charisma, the newly minted beauty influencer has amassed a loyal following of 2.8 million TikTok fans. Frankel has become one of the most trusted sources for product recommendations and (often very animated) takes on viral trends, including that Walmart Birkin dupe.
Given her excellent taste in products (including chicken salad, of course), it's no surprise Frankel struck up a partnership with Thayers—the internet-loved brand behind some of the most popular organic beauty products. For their latest collaboration, Thayers has enlisted Frankel to find the brand's first-ever Chief Mom Officer (CMO), with the goal of celebrating the "original skincare marketers" (aka moms) and their massive impact—both within their family's lives and skincare routines.
As part of USA TODAY Shopping's "What's in your cart?" franchise, we connected with Frankel to discuss her new Thayers campaign, favorite skincare products and the other summer buys she can't live without—including a gem necklace for less than $100 and a santal-scented body mist.

Bethenny Frankel's favorite skincare products
Surprising to no one, Frankel's summer skincare routine includes a mix of essential Thayers products—like the Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Facial Toner and Thayers Blemish Clearing Acne Pads.
"I've been using Thayers for years—it was the first brand that I ever associated with witch hazel. It's drugstore and affordable but it looks very elite and rich. I've been lucky to partner with them in the past and when the opportunity came for us to celebrate mothers, it was an absolute 'yes,'" Frankel says.

What to know about Bethenny Frankel's new collaboration with Thayers:
Frankel has partnered with Thayers on a unique campaign that's designed to celebrate moms and help the brand enlist their first Chief Mom Officer (CMO). The collaboration was announced ahead of Mother's Day 2025, and Thayers will continue accepting applications for the special role through Friday, May 16. The winner of this one-day role will have the opportunity to not only try select products, but also enjoy a "power lunch" with Frankel herself.
As for what the one-on-one with Frankel will entail, the star reveals: "Everything. No topic is off limits. Skincare, business, money, motherhood, mental health, relationships, reinvention—I want to know what lights you up and what's keeping you up. It'll be a strategy session, a business brainstorm and a little bit of therapy—with a side of an amazing meal, obviously," Frankel says.
Why is Thayers Natural Remedies so popular?
Unlike other skincare brands, Thayers is hailed for its wide assortment of organic skincare products, which include the use of witch hazel—a (now) popular ingredient that's designed to help remedy pesky skin concerns like acne and oily textures.

An expanding file folder you can fill with up to 200 pieces of paper and free up sooo much desk space. As an accordion folder follower, I have to say these things are top-notch for organizing everything from restaurant menus to ticket stubs. An opossum toy who somehow managed to not only get a driver's license but also find a street-legal peanut to drive into town. Congrats, 'possum! Impossibly amazing Oogie Boogie hot chocolate bombs that melt in heated milk to reveal mini marshmallows and cocoa mix. Way better than bugs, thank you very much. Teeny-tiny onigiri vases who look thrilled by the opportunity to hold your new clippings and flower buds. Each smiling rice ball is handcrafted, so they're all unique. A candy, fruit, or bunny cat cap that will have everyone in tears laughing — except for the cat, of course, who will NOT find it funny at all. Snowball can consider it payback for knocking your best candle on the ground. Promising review (for the fruit cap): "Well worth the laugh. The cap is very thin, much like Barbie doll clothing material. But the stitching is nice and the cap has ruched elastic under the chin, so it will fit a bigger cat head. Mine is 15 pounds, so he has a bigger head. It will flatten your kitty's ears, but his are stumps anyway, which is probably why he tolerates this more than he might otherwise. Thrilled I got the orange, he is certified orange meow." —RBGet a randomly selected design from Amazon: the candy for $4.99, the fruit for $7.99, or the bunny ears for $7.99. A cutie pie planner to help you be a busy bee, or more likely a take-it-slow sloth. There's room for appointments, errands, and people to in due time. Look how cute this bottle looks with a lil' hat on! It thinks it's people. :') A magnetic goose holder if you're alwaaaays forgetting your keys. You can use it to hold up anything magnetic (I'm envisioning maybe a mini metal basket filled with knickknacks) — some reviewers have been arming theirs with knives. A Hello Kitty version of Candy Land that imagines a world where Hello Kitty has overthrown King Kandy and rules over Candy Land with an iron fist. JK, it looks like everyone is having a nice time! And you will too once you break this game out. Aaand speaking of our new candy overlord, a Hello Kitty Baggu charm to keep your tiniest treasures. Clip it onto your crescent bag and always know where your lip balm and hand sanitizer are. A set of mushroom bookmarks because I know I'm not the only one who wants to live in a fairytale home. Since the silicone mushies are flexible, you can even pop them in the middle of your book to save your spot mid-page. A Pinocchio pencil sharpener that's a little on the nose, but I'm sure Geppetto would be proud to see his son doing such a good job shaving wood! Besides being adorable (your pencil becomes his nose!!!) it's actually pretty useful. It's compact and holds shavings inside, making it perfect for traveling to, say, the circus. An itty-bitty, sterling silver fish necklace so dainty and cute, you'll want to wear it pretty much every day until the end of time. In other words, you'll ;) A miniature wacky waving inflatable tube man in case you wanna grow up to be a used Hot Wheels salesman and need something to draw in new customers. An alarmingly adorable capybara night-light to keep you company on sleepy summer evenings. You can bop your new silicone friend on the head to toggle through seven different colors and three dimness settings. And if you opt for the flower version, it comes with two different buds to hold. 🥹 A "Gracula" garlic crusher that ironically helps you with one of the most tedious chores in the kitchen. Just throw in the peeled cloves, twist, and feel grateful you Let the Right One your kitchen. You'll be like, 'This morning, when I woke up, I felt good because the sun was shining. I felt good because I have these little dudes as my friends." A mini Bob Ross paint-by-numbers kit that comes with three different numbered canvas designs, seven paint pots, a mini brush, and an easel to display your tiny masterpieces. It's perfect for adults and teens looking for a quick project and kids working on their fine motor skills. A wind-up toy shaped like a cat riding a robot vacuum. We've all seen the videos — it's time to recreate it at home. A bear-y nice under-eye stick formulated with skincare darling niacinamide, along with soothing Icelandic mineral water and seaweed extract, to soothe puffiness and dark circles. If a beauty item isn't shaped like an animal, is it even worth getting? Little heart-shaped grippers to help with glasses that keep falling down your nose. They're 100% adjustable and oh-so-cute. Squishy stress cubes with lil' glow-in-the-dark critters suspended inside. Free them! Actually, don't — just give 'em a good squeeze whenever you're feeling stressed or restless. A DIY plush keychain kit with materials to make three magical little critters. It's easy enough for kids as young as six to enjoy, making it a great time killer on rainy days or an ice breaker if you're babysitting. A set of vintage-inspired spoons — if these aren't cottagecore, I don't know what is. They can set them out at their next tea party and let the compliments roll in. Praise for good taste? Sweeter than two lumps of sugar. A solid lotion bar shaped like Totoro or Rilakkuma that's so cute, you may never actually use it. But you should because the almond butter-based lotion will make your skin feel softer than the Catbus. (I just assume a furry bus would be super soft?) A set of limited edition Band-Aids with cute, summery floral designs because who said a papercut can't be a fashion statement? And the best for last: a Swarovski crystal mouse!!! I'm sorry, no one needs this, but look at him! The cute expression! The big slice of cheese! The name (Peaceful Countryside Mouse)! I've honestly been swooning over this silly lil' trinket for days. I love him.

38 Amazon Finds So Good You'll Want Them At Your Doorstep ASAP

A luxe loungewear set you'll want to wear for your next BFF probably just to go get the mail in because it's just *that* good. The black trim and asymmetrical hem are the drama you've been missing in your closet! A set of tortoiseshell wineglasses so gorgeous, they'll make you want to invite people over to your humble abode just to show them off — and that's saying A LOT. These stemless glasses are handblown and made of 100% recycled glass, too! My advice? Grab the decanter too to complete the set. Laneige Lip Glowy Balm — a lightweight, moisturizing, and hydrating lip balm that smells like heaven and does the work of an angel. This fantastic blend of ingredients *isn't* sticky like many other gloss/balm combos, and each shade leaves a different, subtle tint! A container of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust simply because it's the best cereal ever, and who wouldn't love the taste of it on everything!? Use it on your coffee to start your day in a sweet way, ice cream for literally the best sundae ever, french fries to turn a simple side into "a lil treat", and SO much more. A stunning pleated skirt that has truly unmatched versatility. Wearing this to work, to a wedding, to brunch, or just on an errand with a pair of sneaks will work 10 out of 10 times. Maybe just get a few different colors while you're at it? A pair of LED stained glass bulbs to fill a room with colorful and inviting lighting. The round bulb protrudes a soft medley of color, while the diamond-shaped bulb showcases direct lines of colorful light. Both are beautiful, so be prepared for tons of "Where did you get that!?" questions either way! A zigzag martini glass set because it looks like something you may have scored at a flea market, but surprise — Amazon for the win. This beautiful glassware set of four happens to be dishwasher-safe, too. Vintage could never! A versatile floral mesh top with a mock neck and long sleeves! Wear this beauty under your favorite dress or on top of a basic spaghetti strap tank, and you'll be bound to have heads turning and people asking, "Where did you get that top!?" Many reviewers even compare it to a much pricier brand that shall not be named 👀. A large, versatile scarf sure to be the most used item in your closet. You can wear it as a hair accessory, a top, a belt, or necktie. To quote Cady Heron: "The limit does not exist!" An eight-piece set of measuring cups with wood handles to add a rustic flair to your utensil drawer. The gold finish on these cups is waaay better than those plastic ones you've got sitting in your drawer, don't you think? A rattan plant stand so your plant collection isn't full of the same ole boring pots. Give your green babes some extra height to catch those sun rays, or use it to simply spruce up your living room area. This stand would look adorable just about anywhere and may encourage a new plant purchase, too! OR a hanging disco ball planter to keep the plant party going, even if there's no more floor space. When the bright sun hits this planter, it'll give light to every other plant in the room. A sophisticated pleated statement lamp with a drool-worthy wiggly base that'll have the compliments coming in at quick speed. IMO, this is the definition of a hidden gem! A grassland knitted jumper that'll have everyone ~m~ooing and aahing when they see it! This cutie has the perfect oversized look for anyone who wants to stay cozy. A set of velvet colorblock pillow covers for those in need of some extra color in your home. Your couch, bed, and accent chairs will never be the same without 'em! A breezy top-and-shorts set if you're just as obsessed with rickrack trim as Bella was obsessed with Edward (IYKYK). It even features pockets! A sleek and slender olive oil dispenser set because it won't take up as much space as those big, bulky bottles oil usually comes in. These hidden gems also come with 37 (!!) labels for things like avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, French vanilla syrup, and much more — because, yes, the dispensers work perfectly for those items, too! A stylish midi tank dress perfect for those with a minimalist closet (or anyone who needs a few more good staple dresses). The material is stretchy, comfortable, and surprisingly thick, according to reviewers! A stunning Bloomhouse dinnerware set that's microwave- and dishwasher-safe. The set — which features deep pasta bowls, dinner plates, and more — comes in moody earth tones that'll immediately level up both your kitchen and your dinner table. A unique glass vase to hold your flowers in something adorably quirky and unusual in the best way. This vase is wide from top to bottom, so your biggest, most beautiful bouquets won't have a problem fitting inside. An affordable, Lululemon-esque longline sports bra featuring built-in padding, meaning you don't need to wear a bra. I repeat, NO BRA NEEDED! If you're like me and throw your bra across the room like a shotput Olympic champion when you get home... just get this top now. Oh and you can hike, work out, and do yoga comfortably in it too, but you know, minor detail in comparison. A trivet tree — a genius 3-in-1 home essential set that works as hot dish trivets, beverage coasters, *and* cute decor. Leave this in the center of your dining table so you can easily place your hot-out-the-oven casserole on top... and pass one to the family member who's about to place their hot tea mug on your antique table. 😩 A small pup-shaped hair clip that is secure and holds hair in a cute and comfortable fashion. Reviewers with short or fine hair say it's a must for dog lovers, and for those with thicker hair — try the half up/half down look! These cuties come in tons of breeds like, corgis, labradors, poodles, German shepards, and *so* many more. Wonderskin Wonder Blading One Step Lip Stain Masque, the super fun lip stain that ~glides~ on a holographic blue and peels off to unveil a gorgeous, long-lasting lip stain! According to reviewers, it can withstand any eating and drinking you do throughout the day, too. At this point, it's not a want but a need! A set of unscented twisted candles that come in just about every color of the rainbow (and then some). Your dinner table and/or mantel will officially be complete! A *leak-proof* Simple Modern tumbler — yes, the insulated tumbler you keep seeing all over TikTok for not spilling. Reviewers say the hype is real *and* well-deserved. It includes a straw and a lid, has a convenient handle, comes in tons of great colors, AND is almost half the price of the also viral Stanley Cup. Do you need this? I think yes. A pair of puffy kitten heels you can confidently step out in, knowing you'll be dressed to the nines with unique accessories to match. Honestly, these mules are an Amazon hidden gem, so you might just be starting a new trend. The famous Alleyoop 4-in-1 makeup brush with an angled complexion brush perfect for powder blush or foundation, along with an eyeshadow brush, a brow/eyeliner brush, *and* a blending sponge! It's the perfect size to keep in your purse for touch-ups throughout the day and for saving space in your makeup bag. A strapless mesh bustier because the corset trend will never go out of style, and this one — with a zipper! — is one of the cutest, most affordable, and easiest to get into. This top comes in 12 (!!) cute and bold colors; you may want a different one for every day of the week. A pair of retro-style oval sunglasses with stunning gold detail that makes 'em look pretty dang similar to those $400 Miu Miu shades you've been seeing your favorite celebs rocking lately. This timeless shape oozes "extravagance and wealth, dawling" and they have UV 400 protection on top of it all!? They're clearly a wardrobe essential at this point. A gorgeous pour-over coffee maker set complete with a ribbed coffee dripper, a metal drip stand, and a heat-resistant coffee server. This gem is perfect for any coffee lover who HATES anything big and bulky in their kitchen (...because aesthetic, hello)! You'll have a delicious cup of joe and a new piece of home decor — the best of both worlds! A sturdy macrame hammock swing chair that can be hung both indoors and out (because the patio is part of your home sanctuary, too). Can you imagine relaxing in this while reading your favorite book? Sounds like heaven! A flirty corset lace-up sundress giving major Bridgerton vibes if you ask me... minus the custom-made price. In this era, you don't need to be royalty to have a stunning, great-quality dress! It's lightweight and flowy, and — wait for it — it looks extremely similar to the House of CB version that costs over $200 👀. A pair of hypoallergenic hoop earrings sure to be in heavy rotation because they go with *everything*. These chunky but lightweight beauties have an open back and a gorgeous gold, silver, or rose gold finish, too. They've got over 27,000 5-⭐️ reviews, so are obsessed. A pack of Gameboy wall decals as easy as peel, stick, and stare in awe. It'll make a fridge or a bedroom doorway more fun as it doubles as dry-erase boards, too. If that won't motivate you to write down your grocery list, I don't know what will. A rose and heart ice mold that'll make any beverage a floral dream almost too pretty to sip. Using the built-in funnels on the lid, simply pour your liquid of choice into the mold to get six lovely ice cubes hours later. Use it for everything from cocktails to iced coffee and more! Cute handmade macrame hanging baskets, because they can be used for mail, fruit, or even as a small planter (which gives this major bonus points IMO). And with multiple tiers, why not do all three? A Bluetooth typewriter keyboard with a slot for your iPad or tablet! Reviewers also use it for their laptops and entire WFH stations too, and just use the slot as a phone holder. If there was anything that'd motivate you after hours in front of a screen, it'd be this! Waiting for your new stuff to be delivered like: Reviews have been edited for length and/or clarity.

4 tips to avoid bad Amazon fashion

Ever ordered something on Amazon that didn't live up to the photos? Yahoo Shopping Editor Julia Webb shares four tips you probably haven't heard — like avoiding dresses with too many color options and checking the fabric content before you buy. Video Transcript Ok, here's a dress I ordered on Amazon, and here's what actually showed up. Pretty different, right? Now look at this one. I like it so much better. Both dresses had great reviews and similar prices. So why did one kind of suck? Hi, I'm Julia Webb, and I'm a shopping editor at Yahoo, and I write about everything you can buy online. So here are 4 tips to make sure that what you buy actually lives up to the reviews. One, check the fabric. The first dress is 99% polyester. The second is 55% linen. Stick with natural fabrics. They look and feel way better than synthetics. Two, zoom in on the review photos. Red flag number one, Photos of the first dress in lighter colors showed it was see-through and stayed super wrinkled. Lighter shades usually reveal more flaws in pictures, and even though I bought the navy version, it had the same issues IRL. Red flag number two, people added a belt. That usually means the fit is going to be off. Three, be wary of listings with 30+ color options. If it looks like they just photoshopped one dress 30 times, they probably did. Four, do not ignore this warning. Frequently returned item. That was listed on the first dress and I still bought it. Big mistake. These tips help, but nothing beats seeing something in person and trying it on. So my number one rule, always check the return policy.
