Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THIS is the heartwarming moment a young Oasis superfan was left jumping for joy after being surprised with a ticket for the band's comeback gig in Edinburgh. He even has an Oasis-themed bedroom and constantly listens to the band on his mum, Lisa's, Spotify account. And when the music app revealed that Harris had sent Lisa into Oasis' top listeners, she he knew she had to work out a way to get him to one of the sell-out shows at Murrayfield Stadium. Liam kicked off the first of three massive gigs in the capital city on Friday alongside brother Noel, 58 - ending a 16-year wait for the return of the Be Here Now stars. And Lisa managed to get tickets for Harris to go on Tuesday night, which was the third and final Scottish night of their comeback gigs. She decided to surprise him on the morning of the show, and young Harris was overcome with excitement. I got tickets at the weekend and decided to surprise him on the day. We drove down from Golspie Lisa Mackay Lisa told The Scottish Sun: "Last year, when the tickets went on sale, Harris got up early and set up his phone to try and help me and his dad get tickets. "He spent the whole day in the queue trying to get us tickets, and we had no luck! Thankfully, my friend got Heaton Park tickets, and we got two. "From then on, he just got more and more into Oasis - he dressed as Liam for Halloween and sang Wonderwall in every house he went to. Much to the annoyance of all his pals. "At Christmas, when Spotify unwrapped came out, it came up that I was in the top 0.5 per cent of listeners. Joyous moment Scots schoolgirl dances to favourite Oasis song outside packed Murrayfield gig "He uses my account, and I knew then he was a huge fan. He has been following the whole tour on Instagram and telling me everything that has been going on. "He was so excited for us when we went off to Manchester in July, and again so excited for his uncle and auntie getting to go to Murrayfield on Saturday. "So I just decided to bite the bullet. I got tickets at the weekend and decided to surprise him on the day. "We drove down from Golspie in the Highlands." Best night of my life Harris Mackay Lisa filmed the moment she gave him the tickets, and after finding out they were going that night, Harris tells his mum, "I love you so much". The sweet video quickly went viral on social media and was shared by a fan page on Instagram called Oasis Live 25. The captioned the clip: "This is it!! This is what Oasis means to people. Lisa making her little boy, Harris', dreams come true." Replying in the comments, Harris himself said: "Best night of my life". Other followers flocked to the comments, with many saying they were left "in tears" watching Harris' joy. One person said: "Tears to my eyes watching the happiness of this young boy". Another added: "Who else is crying right now?!" Someone else posted: "Beautiful. Great taste in music lad!! What an amazing summer this band have given us all." While a fourth wrote: "I love this! What a truly appreciative, lucky and grateful young man he is". And a fifth chimed in: "Totally welling up at 'I love you so much'". DEFINITELY I DO HARRIS isn't the only one who had a life-changing night at one of the Oasis shows at Murrayfield. A couple in the crowd got engaged during the sold-out Oasis gig in Edinburgh on Friday night. Gigs in Scotland caught the adorable moment an Oasis fan got down on one knee during the band's hit Slide Away. In a clip shared on social media, Liam can be seen singing the 1994 song. As he sings the lyrics: "Now that you're mine," the camera then pans around to the fan proposing to his girlfriend. During the video, the woman, dressed in an Oasis top and bucket hat, can be seen saying yes during the proposal. He then pops the ring on her finger and the couple share a kiss as they enjoy the heartwarming moment. Gigs in Scotland wrote: "We caught a very special moment during Slide Away... "Huge congrats to the happy couple!" Lisa told The Scottish Sun that Harris has always loved music, and even sang before he could talk after a "tough start" to life. The mum said: "He has always loved music since he was tiny, could literally sing before he could talk properly. "He was born with a condition which made him unable to breathe for himself when he was born, and he was in hospital for the first six months of his life. "He needed an operation at two to close a cleft palate, so it was a tough start for him. "Music has always been in bones. "His first favourite band was The Beatles, and we took him to some tribute shows of them and Creedence Clearwater Revival when he was as young as five." 5 Harris said going to the sell-out gig on Tuesday was the 'best night of my life' Credit: SUPPLIED

BBC star could be first ginger Bond after ‘screen-testing for role'
An underdog in the race to cinch the role of James Bond has apparently already screen-tested for the role. Six years after Daniel Craig announced his retirement from the franchise, fans are wildly speculating who may take on the role of 007. Former favourite Idris Elba, 52, previously ruled himself out from playing the British spy, while other hotly tipped actors, including James Norton and Theo James, have not confirmed any involvement. The current front-runner to become Bond is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, while bookies have also given preferential odds to the likes of Henry Cavill, Jack Lowden, Tom Holland, and Callum Turner. But for the last couple of months, 37-year-old actor Scott Rose-Marsh, has been cropping up on betting sites, and new reports suggest he's taken one step further in the race. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the star screen-tested for the role sometime in late June. It was reported that he read sides from 1995's GoldenEye, presumably for director Denis Villeneuve, who became attached to the project in June. It was added that he was given just one piece of direction before testing: 'Don't impersonate a previous Bond.' The actor, who Betfred currently places in 12th place in the running with odds of 12/1, is a relative unknown compared to other candidates. He previously appeared in movies like Wolves of War and Code of Silence, but is otherwise a lesser-known film star. The announcement from Amazon MGM Studios that Denis Villeneuve will helm the next James Bond film is a dramatic move marking a creative shift for the 007 franchise, and signalling a new era for Britain's most iconic spy. The Canadian director, best known for directing Dune and Dune: Part Two, as well as Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, and Prisoners, expressed reverence for the character. 'Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007,' he said in a statement released Wednesday. 'I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery. I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory.' While acknowledging the enormous expectations, Villeneuve said he intends to 'honour the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come.' He called the opportunity 'a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honour.' The announcement comes during a period of major upheaval behind the scenes of the Bond universe. More Trending Amazon Studios officially purchased MGM for $8.45billion (£6.7billion) in 2022, with a new agreement over creative control meaning Bond — and whoever is next to play 007 – is entirely under the streamer's control. It is a landmark decision as family-run Eon Productions has brought Bond to the big screen since the franchise began. After decades of tight creative control, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson – heirs to the franchise through their father, original Bond producer Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli – have ceded key decision-making power to Amazon MGM Studios. Given all the changes in the franchise, it's perhaps not surprising if a relatively unknown actor like Scott Rose-Marsh takes on the role. Got a story? Coronation Street's Beverley Callard shows off huge leg tattoo in tiny shorts
Former Coronation Street star Beverley Callard has revealed a rather large tattoo covering the lower part of her leg as she posed in a pair of tiny shorts during the recent heatwave A former Coronation Street star has revealed a large tattoo taking up most of their leg. Actress Beverley Callard, known to millions as The Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald, has been making the most of the scorching temperatures which have swept across the UK in recent days. Beverley, 68, also gave fans a glimpse at a rather large tattoo which covers the majority of her lower right leg as she posed in a pair of tiny denim shorts in a bid to keep cool as temperatures soared, while standing in her kitchen. The actress completed her look with a loose-fitted white t-shirt and a pair of chunky black sandals. But it was the rather large tattoo which cascaded down from her kneecap to her foot which caught the attention of fans. The inking featured pink, blue and red flowers which certainly stood out. It comes after David Beckham speaks 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after latest Brooklyn snub The Mongolia-themed floral inking was Beverley's second tattoo, as she had previously been inked with comedy and tragedy masks, as well as a love heart and music score – a tribute to her husband Jon McEwan, as well as their wedding anniversary – October 30, 2010. Sharing the clip on social media, it featured Jon returning home from work, leaving Beverley completely speechless. "Oh my God," she said as she turned around from the kitchen countertop. While his face was covered by muck, Jon was dressed in all black, as he said: "I have had a day." Beverley responded: "I don't believe it," as she filmed her husband, who was covered head to toe in muck. "Oh, you stink," she quipped, adding that he smelt of burnt rubber, explaining to her husband that she was filming him for social media. Beverley's social media post comes after it was revealed she'll be taking part in Help! My House is Haunted. The series, created by Discovery+ sees a team of paranormal experts help six famous faces left worried by the paranormal world. Ian Lawman, Barri Ghai and Jayne Harris hope to "uncover the chilling secrets that are lurking in their homes." Last year, Beverley shared a clip of her home on social media, with many fans believing that there could have been ghostly activities in her home. The actress shared a video on Instagram, which she believed shows two orbs floating in the room. She captioned the eerie clip: "HELP!! What the hell is this? My ring camera in the barn alerted us at 1am this morning. What are the two orbs? @jonmmac55 armed with a baseball bat went to investigate!! Nothing there, upon returning checked the camera and they were back. OMG! I'm scared. Any help greatly appreciated." Fans were quick to offer their advice, with one suggesting: "Lock it up and never go in there again," while another observed: "There are 4 orbs, 2 on the left, very active unsettled spirits." A third suggested: "It's spiders on their web." However, Beverley was quick to dismiss the spider theory with a follow-up post. In a second video, captioned "No spiders web, I'm moving", she showed her husband Jon McEwan investigating the area to ensure everything was safe. He stated: "Just to clear it up since Beverly wouldn't come in today. All of you saying cobwebs and spiders, nope nothing. So, no, I think it could be a ghost!" Another fan advised: "You can't leave Norfolk, we live here it's a beautiful place. Send the dogs in next time," while another joked: "Time to get the investigators in, just in time for Halloween."
