The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda-starrer has managed to hold strong at the ticket window, and according to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has now crossed the Rs 170 crore mark in India.
On Day 7, Saiyaara minted Rs 16.61 crore. While the figure is slightly lower than its previous day's earnings, the weekday numbers continue to stay in double digits. The total domestic collection now stands at approximately Rs 170.36 crore. With no major releases lined up for this Friday, the film is expected to dominate the box office in its second weekend as well.
Saiyaara Beats Lifetime Collection of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani
In a major feat, Saiyaara has surpassed the lifetime collection of Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, which had earned around Rs 153.55 crore during its theatrical run. The 2023 film starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, making Saiyaara's performance even more impressive considering its relatively new lead cast.
