This Famous 2000s Rom-Com Star Is Headed For Divorce After 15 Years Of Marriage
It's over for Dermot Mulroney and Prima Apollinaare.
According to ABC News, Dermot filed for divorce from Prima on Monday, June 23, citing irreconcilable differences. The actor, best known for his roles in My Best Friend's Wedding, Friends, and Zodiac, had been married to the musician for 15 years. They share two children, daughters Mabel Ray, 17, and Sally June, 15.
Dermot married Prima, who previously went by Tharita Cutulle, in 2010. It was his second marriage behind Catherine Keener, whom he split from in 2007 after 17 years of marriage and one son, Clyde Keener Mulroney, 26.
In court documents, Dermot reportedly requested joint physical and legal custody of their kids. People reported that he also asked for spousal support and for the court to deny Prima from receiving it from him — however a source refuted those claims. "No one is asking for anything," the insider told People, "and no one is denying anything. They are not arguing over the children nor money."
According to the source, their split is "amicable." "They used mediators, not lawyers, as they are friends and this is amicable," the source shared. "They were advised to file this way."
The divorce comes just over a year after the two made a rare appearance for the Fox game show We Are Family. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dermot gushed over how "fun" it was to perform with Prima on the show.
"We both like to do karaoke together and we both like music so much," Prima added. "It was actually, for me, it was really an amazing experience to be on television and singing. Of course, with my husband, I play with him all the time in the house. We all play instruments. We have harps, guitars, ukulele, pianos, you name it. So we're all musicians, but to actually do it and just have people winning money is also very rewarding. I've been singing since I was very little and music is my heart. So it was a great experience. They made it so easy for us. We had so much fun. I wish we could do it again."

The actress, 42, spoke with E! "She was with me filming this whole movie," Chopra Jonas told the outlet. "We were on location in Provence, and while she was on set, she and her grandma would go to this bakery to get croissants and bring them home. She had the most amazing time while we were filming this movie." Malti even "loved the set" so much that she ended up calling craft services "crafty" just like the other actors. "It was so cute," Chopra Jonas said. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. During a June 24 appearance on Good Morning America, Chopra Jonas opened up about being a mom to her toddler daughter and shared that Malti is partly convinced that she's a Disney princess. While she said that Malti is an "adrenaline junky" who enjoyed her first ride on a rollercoaster recently, Chopra Jonas added that the toddler is "such a girly girl" and a huge fan of princesses. In fact, Chopra Jonas said that Malti is such a big fan of Moana that she "insists" she is named after the beloved Disney princess. "She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she's Moana. She insists it's her name, like officially her name in school. She says, 'I'm Malti Marie Moana,' " Chopra Jonas said to laughs. Earlier this month, the proud mom appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared the adorable way her daughter Malti identifies her dad and uncles' (Kevin and Joe Jonas) band, the Jonas Brothers. "[Bruno Mars and Rosé's] 'APT' is her favorite song, by the way," she told host Jimmy Fallon, after admitting her daughter has diverse taste in music. When the late-night host asked if she listens to any Jonas Brothers' songs, Chopra Jonas shared, "I mean she doesn't identify them, but she calls them the Donut Brothers." The musician, 32, and the actress welcomed their first child together on Jan. 15, 2022. During a 2023 interview with Elle, Chopra Jonas told the outlet that Malti has her "wrapped around her finger." "I don't even know how I'll ever discipline her because I just don't have it in me," she said. "I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything, and I just want to see her happy." Read the original article on People

Mariska Hargitay's career was predicted by a foul-mouthed Long Island psychic: 'I don't give a rat's ass what you think'
Mariska Hargitay made an arresting visit to the Call Her Daddy podcast this week, speaking about her new documentary portrait of her mother Jayne Mansfield, My Mom Jayne, as well as her work on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which she's been on, in her words, "since 1926." At the beginning of her career, Hargitay was fairly certain her path was in comedy — not playing a detective for 26 seasons — and she felt pretty entrenched in Los Angeles, living in a large house with several friends. But a visit to the East Coast indicated that her life was about to change. "I used to go to New York twice a year and just see theater. I was 34, and I come to New York, and a friend of mine said, 'You have to go to this psychic on Long Island.' I didn't even know where Long Island was," Hargitay recalled. She continued, "So I drive out to this guy's house on Long Island, and he gives me a psychic reading. And because my mom was famous, I was like, you are just probably gonna Google me, you know, Jayne Mansfield's daughter, and then come up with some bulls---. So I sit down with this guy and he says, 'You see that face?' I have this on [a] recording. 'You see that face right now?' I said, 'Yeah.' He goes, 'You're gonna be famous for that face, that face, that serious face.'" A little taken aback, Hargitay replied, "I'm gonna be a comedian. And he says, this is my favorite thing I think anyone's ever said to me. He goes like this: 'I don't give a rat's ass what you think.'" Continuing, the psychic said, "'You're gonna be famous for that face.' And then he says to me, 'And you're moving to New York.' And I said, 'No, I have this gorgeous house my father built.' I was living in a house with, like, 32 roommates because I had this house and it had five rooms. I rented out rooms, so I'm actually living out an episode of Friends. Not an episode, but the whole season because I had so many roommates. [So] I was like, 'I live in L.A. This is my town. I have my roommates. I have my house.'" Then the punchline: "Swear to God, six months later, I got SVU." And since that time, she has been a New York City staple — unable to walk to the bagel store without people giving her hugs and telling the woman who plays Detective Olivia Benson all about their personal struggles. (Something Hargitay takes in great stride, as she explains in the podcast.) Importantly, however, is the phrase rat's ass. "He said, 'I don't give a rat's ass'," Hargitay repeated. "How great is rat's ass?" You can watch and/or listen to Mariska Hargitay chat on the Call Her Daddy podcast for over an hour by clicking the play button below.
