The actress has quit her home production The Intern opposite Amitabh Bachchan too, and a new leading lady will be cast opposite the legend
Sandeep Reddy Vanga shocked everyone with his viral post where he slammed actress Deepika Padukone after her exit from his upcoming movie Spirit featuring Prabhas. Taking to X, the Animal helmer shared a cryptic tweet. The director didn't mention Deepika Padukone but slammed her for her 'dirty PR games' and revealing some parts of her film's story.
But now, as per a report by Mid-day, the actress has quit her home production The Intern opposite Amitabh Bachchan too, and a new leading lady will be cast opposite the legend. She will now serve as the producer on the remake.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD
But the actress is definitely on board for Allu Arjun and Atlee's next magnum opus. A source told Pinkvilla, 'Deepika Padukone has begun prep for the film and is expected to join the set in the month of November 2025. She has allotted 100 days for the film shoot and is expected to can dramatic and action-packed sequences through the journey. It's Deepika Padukone like never before, along with Allu Arjun. The team has designed a special look of a warrior as well as weapons for Deepika's character.'
The source added, 'AA22xA6 will be shot until September 2026, and the makers are aiming to bring it on the big screen towards the second half of 2027. Allu Arjun has blocked his calendar exclusively for Atlee's next and is passionately giving it all to the most prestigious film of his career.'
The Spirit fiasco
'When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are…Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it," Vanga wrote.

Rocky Jaiswal Responds To Claims Of Cashing In On Hina Khan's Stardom: ‘I Know My Position'

Rocky Jaiswal opens up on fame, reality shows, and life with Hina Khan, saying he knows his 'position and placement' and seeks creative satisfaction, not attention. Rocky Jaiswal, husband of television star Hina Khan, is often seen by her side but rarely in the spotlight. Rocky recently shared his thoughts on fame, reality shows, and carving his own space, clarifying that he is not interested in cashing in on his wife's stardom. Rocky revealed that he has never desired attention or celebrity status. 'I don't think we have ever craved attention as a unit," he told Pinkvilla. 'I know that she is the celebrity, I know she is the star, I know my position, my placement," he said. 'I Don't Want To Ride On Hina's Back' Rocky made it clear that his identity is not tied to his wife's fame. 'I don't want to giddy on her back and become somebody. I just don't want that. If I had to become somebody, I would become somebody on my own. And I'm not somebody who loves a lot of glamour or attention on me," he explained. Instead, Rocky focuses on creative satisfaction. He shared that his choices are motivated by personal growth and the desire to try new things, not by a hunger for recognition. Rocky On Reality Shows When asked if he would participate in popular reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi or Bigg Boss, Rocky said his decisions are based on experience rather than the lure of fame. 'I am a very adventurous person. Hina and I have done everything from skydiving to scuba diving. So if I'm offered Khatron, I would definitely try and give it a go if things and time permit. But my driving factor is not fame. My driving factor is experience. My decisions would be calculated on that," he explained. Rocky is currently part of the reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga, which he sees as an opportunity to reinvent himself. 'Whatever I'm going to do, it is not because I want fame. My partner is somebody who is famous. I don't have that craving. I want creative satisfaction and experience," he said. Reinventing Himself On Screen Talking about his journey on Pati Patni Aur Panga, Rocky revealed that the format has pushed him out of his comfort zone. 'This show is something where I'm reinventing myself. I'm a very happy-go-lucky sort of a guy. I can talk, make jokes, and be funny. But to have a balance on the camera is a new thing. And to be a little OTT on the show because I'm less expressive, that's a new thing for me," he shared. 'Never Say Never' To Bigg Boss While Rocky maintains he does not crave fame, he hasn't closed doors on opportunities. 'I'm not a guy who would say no to anything. I believe never say never because you don't know what life will push at you. If I do Bigg Boss, I would do it for the experience. If I do Khatron, I would do it for the experience. For this show, I'm doing it for experience because we just got hitched and we were offered this, so we thought okay, let's do it," he concluded. Shah Rukh Khan says, 'National Award ek haath se utha sakta hu,' as he opens up on his injury, reveals it was a big surgery, will take time to recover

Aryan Khan is finally stepping into the world of filmmaking with his much-talked-about directorial debut 'Ba**ds of Bollywood'. To mark the beginning of this new journey, the makers hosted an elaborate preview event where none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself turned up in full support of his son. The superstar, however, arrived with his arm in a sling — instantly sparking curiosity among those present. Never one to miss a chance at humour, SRK addressed it with his signature charm. He told the media, 'Aap log journalist hain toh aapke dil mein bahut saare sawal uth rahe honge, toh main pehle hi jawab de deta hoon. Mere haath ko kya hua hai — toh mere shoulder mein chot lag gayi thi, chhoti si surgery hui, actually thodi badi thi. Recovery mein mujhe 1-2 mahine lagenge. Lekin National Award uthane ke liye mera ek hi haath kaafi hai. Actually, zyada tar cheezein main ek haath se kar leta hoon, par bas ek cheez mein dusre haath ki kami mehsoos hoti hai — aap sabka pyaar batorne mein.' For those not in the know, Shah Rukh won his first ever National Award in 33 years. This one was for 'Jawan' at the 71st National Awards which were announced recently. His lighthearted remark comes at a time when reports have confirmed that the filming of SRK's upcoming action-thriller King has been temporarily stalled. According to Mid-Day, the actor injured his shoulder while performing a stunt, leading the team to pause production until he is fit to return to set. Meanwhile, Aryan Khan, who has chosen to pursue direction instead of acting like his father and sister Suhana Khan, has been shaping this project for over a year. He not only serves as the creator and director but is also collaborating with co-writers Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show explores the vibrant and chaotic universe of strivers, hustlers, and dreamers trying to find their place in Bollywood.
