How J-Lo STILL looks 26 despite turning 56 today – from obscure beauty secret & gruelling workouts to love of ‘hard sex'

The Sun24-07-2025
TODAY marks Jennifer Lopez's 56th birthday, yet looking at the global superstar, you'd be forgiven for thinking she hasn't aged a day past 25.
Reaching this incredible milestone, Jennifer continues to redefine what's possible - as a singer, actress, dancer, and beauty mogul.

The mum-of-two consistently defies expectations, radiating a youthful energy and a flawless complexion that leaves us all wondering: what's her secret?
As Bruce Green, Skincare Formulator and founder of SOS Serum Skincare, puts it: " Jennifer Lopez turning 56 with skin that could pass for a 25-year-old isn't just great genetics; it's also a serious mix of smart habits, consistent care, and maybe a few Hollywood secrets."
J-Lo has been remarkably open about her lifestyle and beauty regimen, revealing the daily habits - some more raunchy than others - that keep her looking and feeling utterly incredible.
Here, we reveal what she's said in the past, while experts in the showbiz field reveal the treatments stars swear by to age backwards.
The "Magic Ingredient"
J-Lo is a firm believer in her own skincare line, JLo Beauty, and particularly champions her anti-ageing serum, calling it the "magic ingredient, the secret sauce, the fountain of youth, the vitamins for your face."
She even boldly stated in an Instagram post: "Here, for anybody who's like, 'Oh, J. Lo doesn't use her own products on her skin,' I call bulls**t on you right now."
She claims to apply the £70 product morning and evening.
The Love Drug
She's known for her relationships, having got married and divorced four times, but is her controversial love life actually keeping her younger?
Jennifer Lopez, 55, looks red hot as she simulates sex with hunky dancer in very steamy performance
Her relationship history is a well-documented saga of high-profile romances, including six engagements.
And Jennifer - who has previously shared her love and joy for the relationships - has gushed about the importance of happiness for achieving a youthful look.
Reflecting on this often-turbulent journey, Jennifer shared her insights with Harper's Bazaar: "For me, the relationship journey has been very up and down.
"But it didn't have to do with anybody else but me - it was about me figuring it out me.
"Until you learn to love yourself, you can't completely love [someone else] in a way that is pure and true.
"Once you do that, you can have relationships that are based on love and respect, that are supportive and nourishing."

She added: "There's an evolution there that had to happen for me. I feel like I'm in a better place now."
Her marital history includes: Ojani Noa, who she married from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd, who she married from 2001 to 2003, and Marc Anthony - who she married in 2004, welcoming twins Max and Emme. They announced their split in 2011, with their divorce finalised almost three years later.
Her most famous on-again, off-again romance has been with Ben Affleck.
The couple famously called off their wedding just four days before tying the knot in 2004, leading to their split.
However, love found a way back, and Jennifer and Ben eloped in Las Vegas in 2022, celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary last year.
However, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple, who rekindled their romance and married in 2022, had reportedly been living separately for some time prior to the filing.
Other notable relationships in Jennifer's past include a high-profile romance with Sean 'Diddy' Combs in the late 90s, and her engagement to Alex Rodriguez in 2019.
Despite the ups and downs, Jennifer's belief in love remains unwavering.
As she shared in her newsletter, "Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things - and worth waiting for."

As J-Lo celebrates her birthday, sources reveal her upcoming album is set to unleash "scorned woman energy" inspired by her bitter split from Ben Affleck.
She's already offered a taste of what's to come with her track "Up All Night," which shares its name with her current concert tour.
On the track, J-Lo sings: 'I'm up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life. I bet you wish that you were by my side. I got tired of you breaking me down.'
She adds: 'Look at me now.'
During her Lucca gig in on Monday, J-Lo ramped up the sex appeal and boasted about her antics in the bedroom before performing Moments In Love.
It's arguably the most fun anti-ageing treatment you'll ever have… what's not to love?

She told the audience: 'I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don't know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard.'
As the crowd screamed, J-Lo added: 'Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.
'But there's other days . . . maybe because it's a new kind of time for me, maybe because it's summertime and it's hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.'
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, sexpert Annabelle Knight believes that sex might just be the ultimate anti-aging remedy.
She says: 'The next time you're thinking about your skincare routine, remember that regular sex can have powerful benefits for your skin, body, and mind.
'Getting intimate not only promotes glowing skin and toned muscles, it's also great for your mental health as well.
'It's arguably the most fun anti-ageing treatment you'll ever have… what's not to love?'
Sleeping Beauty

J-Lo emphasises that quality sleep is absolutely vital for a youthful appearance and feeling.
She aims for 10 hours of sleep every night, noting a significant improvement in her face when she started prioritising rest.
In her "On the J-Lo" newsletter, she wrote: "We don't value sleep. We value grinding and working hard - and admittedly, nobody gets caught up in that rat race more than me.
'I've found, however, that sleep to me is the most underrated beauty secret out there."
Bruce adds: 'Sleep plays an important role in preventing accelerated ageing.
'Sleep improves blood flow, giving your skin a healthy glow and delivering nutrients needed for repair.
'It also lowers stress hormones, including cortisol, which can damage collagen and cause inflammation.
'If you struggle with a consistent, healthy, sleep pattern, try using a sleep mask, putting your phone on 'Do Not Disturb,' and cutting the caffeine after 2pm.'
The Olive Oil Secret
32
32
J-Lo previously revealed that mother used to say "olive oil was the cure-all for everything," and it's a secret she's carried into her own beauty philosophy and products.
Olive oil is known for its antioxidant properties and healthy fats, which help moisturise the skin and maintain elasticity.
This is even a key ingredient in her J-Lo Beauty Olive Complex, as it is found across her line.
Her beauty website describes it as: 'A powerful antioxidant-rich blend of squalane,
fermented oil, and olive extracts, clinically shown to hydrate and boost radiance.'
The 'Platypus Walk'

It's impossible to talk about J-Lo's youthful appearance without mentioning her incredible physique, which is a result of consistent and disciplined workouts.
She typically trains four to five times a week with personal trainers like Dodd Romero and David Kirsch, incorporating strength training, core work, and, of course, a lot of dancing. Dance isn't just exercise for her; it's a passion that keeps her active and energised.
'She trains for roughly an hour, four to five times a week, focusing on different body parts each time,' Dodd told Oprah Daily.
Her workout routines are constantly evolving to keep her body and mind engaged for the full 90-minute session.
Exercises for the lower body vary from weighted rope crunches and sumo squats to hip thrusts.
David said a movement he calls the "platypus walk" is "the quickest, most effective workout for your butt."
The Non-Negotiable
32
32
If there's one product J-Lo can't live without, it's sunscreen.
She's been an advocate for daily SPF use since her early twenties, calling it a "game-changer" for maintaining youthful skin.
"I've been wearing sunscreen every day since I was in my very early 20s, you should start at a very young age,' she revealed in a 2023 Instagram post.
Jennifer understands that sun damage is a primary culprit for premature aging, and her commitment to protection has clearly paid off.
Bruce says: 'Daily SPF even when indoors is key to preventing ageing. Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ such as SOS SPF 50, £5.50, every morning, come rain or shine.
'She also avoids smoking and rarely drinks, both major ageing accelerators.
'If you are able to make these lifestyle changes, try skipping the glass of wine and drink sparkling water with lemon - it looks just as glam!'
Hair Care Plan
Her bright features and chiselled physique pair perfectly with her glowing, glossy, glass-like hair – illuminating her ever youthful appearance.

Tina Farey, Editorial Director at RUSH HAIR, says: 'Jennifer's mocha mousse colour is infused with caramel and vanilla highlights blended throughout, adding brightness to her base, and harmonising perfectly with her olive skin tone and golden undertones.
'Jennifer loves wearing her hair in her signature big, bombshell blow-dry which gives the illusion of thicker hair.
'This is also amplified with the placement of the lighter ribbons of colour being placed at the front of her hair to frame her face, adding dimension and movement to her look.
'With a diamond face shape, Lopez's high, prominent cheekbones and sharp jawline are softened by her long, layered cut, which pairs beautifully with her long, luscious locks.
'J-Lo emphasises the importance of hair health - so be sure to stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet and visit your salon for a trim every six to eight weeks.'
Beauty Boost
32
32
Make no mistake though, her youthful glow is the result of her healthy lifestyle and proactive approach to skincare.
Which is why she is a known fan of HydraFacial, a microdermabrasion treatment that treats a variety of skin concerns including pigmentation, rosacea, acne and all signs of ageing.
Natalie Godefroy, Founder of NG Skin Clinic, said: 'Jennifer Lopez is a known fan of HydraFacial, HydraFacial is often paired with her own signature JLo Beauty Booster, which delivers visible results: skin that's hydrated, lifted and luminous.
'The booster itself combines ingredients including niacinamide, olive leaf extract, a fermented adaptogen blend, and a proprietary HydraComplex - designed to tighten, brighten, and deeply nourish the skin.'
Hydration is Key
32
32
32
Speaking previously to US Weekly, J-Lo revealed that she drinks at least seven glasses of water a day, including lemon water in the morning.
Natalie adds: 'Her glow isn't just a result of her skincare routine or advanced treatments, her youthful appearance reflects her healthy lifestyle that is rooted in movement, hydration and a healthy diet.
'She's actively practiced a healthy lifestyle throughout her lifetime, which is why she now looks decades younger than 56.
'For women over 50, she's a fantastic role model for prioritising a healthy lifestyle and investing in your skin's health from a younger age.
'Adopting a proactive approach to your skin's health in your twenties or thirties like Jennifer Lopez, means that age becomes irrelevant, your beauty truly becomes ageless.'
Drink to That
32
32
32
Despite owning her own alcoholic brand Delola L'Orange Spritz, J-Lo might be toasting her birthday with a non-alcoholic drink.
Back in 2023, the singer addressed the criticism she's been facing since launching her alcoholic spritz brand, Delola.
She first sparked backlash in April that year, after fans noted that she previously declared she was a non-drinker, and about the health benefits of sobriety.
'I know that a lot of people have been talking about: 'Oh, she doesn't even drink, what's she doing with a cocktail line?'' she said.
'To tell you the truth, that was true for a long time, I didn't drink.
'I have been having the occasional cocktail, I do enjoy the occasional cocktail.
'I do drink responsibly, I don't drink to get s***faced. I drink to be social and have a nice time. And kind of relax and let loose a little bit. But always responsibly.'

Sydney Sweeney's voter registration emerges amid uproar over controversial American Eagle jeans ad

Sydney Sweeney registered as a Republican in Florida several months before President Donald Trump won his second term, it has been revealed, as the actor faces backlash over her provocative American Eagle campaign, which some critics have deemed 'racist.' The 27-year-old Euphoria actress has been a registered voter with the Republican Party in Florida since June 2024, according to public voting records. Sweeney's party affiliation was first confirmed by Buzzfeed News on Saturday, after a post on X claiming she was 'an actual registered member of the republican party' went viral. The post quickly gained traction as critics were already piling on the White Lotus and Madame Web actress for her American Eagle Outfitters campaign, which came with the tagline: ' Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.' The ad starts with Sweeney saying, 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color' before she adds: 'My jeans are blue.' While the ad appeared to be making a pun about denim – changing the word 'genes' to 'jeans' – it sparked outrage online over the phrases 'good genes' and 'great genes.' Critics say the two phrases, paired with Sweeney's references to her hair and eye color, echo the sentiments of eugenics, the discredited, racist belief once popularized by the Nazis that the human race can be improved genetically by selective breeding. In a statement, American Eagle spoke out about the campaign and defended Sweeney. ''Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' is and always was about the jeans,' the company wrote in a statement on Instagram. 'Her jeans. Her story.' 'We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way,' the statement continued. 'Great jeans look good on everyone.' Meanwhile, the White House and conservative media jumped to Sweeney's defense, with President Trump's communications director Steven Cheung calling the negative reaction to the ad 'cancel culture run amok.' The controversy surrounding the advertisement has also been featured on Fox News 28 more times than the Jeffrey Epstein saga this past week. According to a study by liberal media watchdog Media Matters for America, the network has spent over 85 minutes across at least 20 segments through Thursday afternoon discussing the commercial and the discourse surrounding it. After right-wing media came to Sweeney's defense, Daily Show correspondent and guest host Desi Lydic called out conservatives for their apparent hypocrisy in gushing over the campaign. 'This is such bulls***. Blond women have had constant representation, OK? In entertainment, in fashion, in letter-turning,' Lydic said. 'It's not that they want to see more white women, it's that they want to see none of anyone else. For a story about boobs, it sure has a hell of a lot of assholes.' Lydic specifically called out former Fox News host Megyn Kelly for her sudden switch-up in attitude toward Sweeney, after Kelly suggested a month ago that Sweeney was the 'new toast of the town' only because of her 'amazing breasts,' HuffPost reported. 'Yeah, yeah! That's right, women, you listen to Megyn Kelly and hide your sexuality unless your body makes liberals mad, in which case it's a kickass body! Hell, yeah! Go, girl!' Lydic joked. 'You motorboat those liberals here but not so much that it threatens Megyn or, so help me God, she will destroy you, ho bags!'

Tom Holland hints he would play Bond amid 007 rumours

has hinted that he would play James Bond after 007 rumours, saying: 'We'll get there one day.' The Hollywood actor and star of Spider-Man responded to speculation that he might play the world's most famous spy by saying: 'We'll get there one day.' Holland, 29, added that for 'every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry'. The Londoner is among several actors tipped for the role of 007 following Amazon's takeover of the franchise. These include: Jacob Elordi, the Australian who starred in Euphoria and Saltburn; Aaron Pierre, star of Rebel Ridge, the 2024 American action thriller; and Harris Dickinson, who acted opposite Nicole Kidman in Babygirl, the erotic thriller. Holland admitted in a conversation with his friend, Gordon Ramsay, that he was aware there were rumours he might become Bond. When the celebrity chef asked Holland about the role on his YoutTube channel this week, the actor smiled and said: 'Listen, there's speculation at the moment. We'll keep it to a minimum for now. We will get there one day.' He was asked by Ramsay: 'Can you imagine what's going to happen to your life if you do? First of all, you'd love that opportunity, right?' Holland replied: 'Dude, I mean every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry. I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive. I could never have dreamed to have the career that I have.' Dune director takes over Denis Villeneuve, the acclaimed Canadian film-maker behind the Dune franchise, will direct the new Bond film. However, the lead role is yet to be cast. The movie is being co-produced by Amy Pascal, who works closely with Holland on the Spider-Man movies. It has been reported that Amazon, which is making the 26th Bond film, wishes to cast a younger Bond for the next film. Daniel Craig, the British actor, starred in five of the spy films between 2006 and 2021, beginning with Casino Royale and ending with No Time to Die. Earlier this year it emerged that Amazon had secured creative control of the James Bond franchise, prompting fears among fans and in Hollywood that the new 007 actor would be American. However, last month Variety magazine cited sources close to the film saying that the studio and producers were interested in casting a British actor under the age of 30. Glasgow filming Meanwhile Holland is currently filming the latest Spider-Man film in the streets of Glasgow. The city centre is being redesigned in the image of New York, with US flags draped on its famous buildings, as filming gets under way for the new Marvel movie, set for release next year. The film stars Tom Holland as the titular character and Holland's girlfriend, Zendaya, as Michelle Jones 'MJ' Watson. A number of American-style vehicles have been spotted near the Scottish Event Campus, including New York Police Department-labelled cars, buses, and food vans. Filming is expected to last until the middle of August. It will be the fourth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man franchise, and creators have said it will change the tone of the previous three movies, which were released in 2017, 2019, and 2021.
