Online writing school The Novelry's £75,000 competition
The Novelry's 'The Next Big Story' contest aims to find new literary talent.
The winner will receive £75,000 and a year of support to turn their novel idea into a book.
The competition is open to all aspiring writers.
Entrants must submit the first three pages of their novel.
These will be reviewed by a judging panel, including Life of Pi author Yann Martel and Bridgerton author Julia Quinn.
Louise Dean, founder of The Novelry, said: "When it comes to writing fiction, the barriers to engagement seem so high.
"We want to change that with an extraordinary prize that rewards the mischief of that moment and the impulse of creativity."
The Novelry is known for its one-on-one creative writing courses and has helped 75 per cent of its graduates secure contracts with major publishers.
