and Anyone But You, will not only star in the project but also serve as an executive producer. At this stage, it's still unclear whether she will take on the role of Mio or Zoe, the two lead characters from the game.
The movie is being developed by
Story Kitchen
, a company led by producers Mike Goldberg and Dmitri M. Johnson. They're partnering with Chu's own company, Electric Somewhere. The project is currently being pitched to major studios, as several production houses are already showing strong interest.
'Split Fiction', developed by

It tells the story of two authors, Zoe and Mio, who find themselves trapped inside the fantasy worlds they created in their books. The film keeps going back and forth between the glamour of the musical and the true lives of the men, which are grim beyond repair. Luis gains freedom like in the original story and joins the revolution started by Valentin and is seen getting in trouble, which will likely be the end for him just like in the novel. Helmed by Academy Award winner Bill Cordon, the cast of the film also includes Josefina Scaglione and Tony Dovolani.

F1 first reactions: Brad Pitt's film hailed as high-octane crowd-pleaser; comparisons drawn to Top Gun Maverick
Brad Pitt's F1 got a mixed response at Comic-Con after dropping a high-octane 10-minute clip. But its first official press screening seems to have flipped the narrative; critics are calling it a full-throttle summer blockbuster with brilliant visuals and addictive energy. Except for a few concerns about whether the film can pull in non-racing fans, it is racking up rave reviews. Critics are praising Joseph Kosinski's film for its technical brilliance. Variety's Clayton Davis gave a shoutout to cinematographer Claudio Miranda and urged the Oscars to 'not do dirty with him again.' Miranda had also worked with Kosinski on Top Gun: Maverick and even earned a BAFTA nomination for it. Some critics are drawing comparisons between the visuals of F1 and Maverick. Earlier, in his GQ interview, Pitt opened up about the pressure Formula 1 drivers face, comparing it to the kind of scrutiny movie stars deal with. 'Those guys are so scrutinised, and that sport is so revered, and there are so many of us that think we could do it too, just because we drive a car fast down the freeway or something. They get so much s**t. It is shocking to me. They've got to have thicker skin than even us.' The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, who joined the project as a producer and has been promoting the film alongside Pitt. During a press conference earlier this year, Bruckheimer opened up about how the idea crossed his mind. Kosinski said he became a fan of the sport after watching Netflix's Drive to Survive during the pandemic. To shoot F1, the team actually followed the real F1 circuit for a year and even received permission to film during actual race weekends, within a tiny window of just 10–15 minutes. Wicked For Good Trailer: Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo join hands against a suppressive queen and her prince. Watch
There is magic in the air yet again as Universal Pictures has dropped the trailer for Wicked For Good, the sequel to last year's breakout hit Wicked, which made over Rs 400 crore worldwide and became the most successful musical of all time. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are coming back to face-off against Madame Morrible, played by Michelle Yeoh and her favourite lackey prince Fiyero, portrayed by Jonathan Bailey. The makers will be hoping for a repeat of last year's performance, and the film will be trying not to crumble under the pressure of its predecessor. The trailer opens with Erivo and Grande reuniting, as the former tells her of a battle that is coming their way. She says, 'There's no going back. This is between us, the wizard and I.' We see Galinda (Grande) don the crown as Fiyero and his troops move forward in their quest to capture the witch Elphaba (Erivo). The movie seems to go back to its root themes of ostracisation and how people often fear what they don't understand, and then they wish to destroy it. Apart from evading Fiyero and Morrible, Alphaba has a quest of her own, to bring down the Wizard of Oz (Goldbulm), in whom 'she believed in the most.' Galinda is trying to manage her feelings for Fiyero, while trying to protect Alphaba and change her ways. Change seems to be the central point of the narrative. It seems that the prince will finally realise his true desires and act upon them, which is clear from a scene in the trailer. All lead characters will be going through some kind of change, in order to truly achieve whatever they long for, be it acceptance, friendship, peace or love. Directed by John M. Chu, the film also features Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Marrisa Bode, Ethan Slater and Jeff Goldblum.
