Peace is our nature, not violence
We all must realize that good or evil are in fact the traits of the human soul and even after death these traits or sanskar are carried on to the next birth. These sanskar may change or become stronger as per the person's karma in the next life. Hence, it follows that one may kill an evil person but one cannot destroy the evil in that person. It would instead increase due to feelings of hatred and revenge. Remember!! An evil act is bound to be punished as per the Law of Karma in the present or the next birth, because there is a natural justice system that works infallibly and eternally. Hence, one must never think that if someone avenges a wrong by doing wrong in turn, he/she will not suffer. No!!the truth is that in this case, both the persons will have to pay for their respective wrong actions by undergoing some suffering, because any act done with ill will towards others is violence and it is bound to bring sorrow for the doer. Hence, a person may escape the laws of the land but his karma will catch up with him sooner or later for sure. The world that God created for us was a completely non-violent and harmonious world where no evil existed. Goodness exists eternally; it is when we begin to lose touch with our real values that we are enslaved by negative tendencies.
We are all children of 'Almighty' who is the ocean of love, peace and joy, so his qualities are our qualities too eternally, aren't they? That is why all humans resist hatred. They never resist love or joy. HE never forsakes and forgets his values while we do so due to our own ignorance. HE is always merciful and benevolent towards all, so how can he justify violence? Hence one should be very clear on this issue that wars and calamities are not the curse of almighty, but the results of our own actions & wrong doings. And the only way to bring peace & harmony back on earth is to empower ourselves spiritually and rid our minds of all negativities. This will uproot violence completely out of the world and the world would become the one that it was, serene& peaceful.

1 Year On, Trump Says "God Alone" Saved Him From Assassin's Bullet
New Delhi: US President Donald Trump said God spared him to save the country from "those who seek its ruin," a year after he survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. "It remains my firm conviction that God alone saved me that day for a righteous purpose: to restore our beloved Republic to greatness and to rescue our Nation from those who seek its ruin," he said in a statement released Sunday. Trump called the July 13, 2024, shooting a defining moment, adding the country now stood in "a new Golden Age." Recounting the events of that day, he said gunfire erupted eight minutes after he took to the stage at Butler Farms to address thousands of supporters. "An assassin's bullet came within a quarter inch of ending my life and silencing our movement to restore American greatness," he said. "Yet, by the hand of providence and the grace of Almighty God, my life was spared." The shooter, identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired from a rooftop near the rally site. The attack left Trump with a minor injury to his ear, killed firefighter and Trump supporter Corey Comperatore, and wounded two others in the crowd. A Secret Service sniper shot Crooks dead moments after the attack. In his message, Trump honoured the first responders, medical personnel, and fellow attendees who acted swiftly that day. "These men and women arrived at the rally grounds as ordinary Americans, but left as heroes," he said. "They represent the very best of our Nation, and we are forever indebted for their kindness and compassion." He paid special tribute to Corey Comperatore, describing him as a man of "inspiring love, valor, and faithfulness" who died protecting his wife and two daughters. On July 12, Trump briefly recalled the shooting while speaking at the Iowa State Fairgrounds during the launch of America's 250th anniversary celebrations. From behind a wall of bulletproof glass, he paused after hearing what sounded like distant fireworks. "Did I hear what I think I heard?" he asked. "Don't worry, it's only fireworks. I hope. Famous last words." He added, "You always have to think positive. I didn't like that sound, either." Trump concluded his Sunday statement, saying, "Today, we pay tribute to their spirit of love, unity, and resilience, and we proclaim with one voice the epic battle cry that has reverberated all across the world: 'Fight, fight, fight!'"

Peace is our nature, not violence
Today we are living in a world where violence has become our culture. It may be seen in the hundreds of wars going on in different parts of the world or it may be seen through innumerable violent incidents that occur every day in cities and homes across the universe. So, what exactly has led to the spread violence so much even though people strongly denounce it? One of the major reasons as to why violence has become so deeply embedded in the human psyche is that on one hand, we denounce it but on the other hand we condone or even justify it. In the 21st century, that we all boast of living in, violence has been glorified in ingenious ways by the media, especially television, internet & films. Today even toys, cartoons and comics spread the virus of violence in young minds. Hence, a world that has been fed so much on violence is no wonder becoming increasingly dangerous to live in for its occupants. Houthi militia release video footage of attack and sinking of 'Eternity C' cargo vessel in Red Sea
Aden, July 10 (UNI) The Yemen-based Houthi militia have released video footage showing their deadly attack on the 'Eternity C' cargo vessel in the Red Sea, as well as its subsequent sinking after a two-day assault that left at least four crew members dead and several others missing. The video, which was made public yesterday, showed the Liberian-flagged, Greek-operated ship sustaining heavy damage before sinking to the depths of the ocean. The cargo ship was reportedly targeted with sea drones and multiple cruise and ballistic missiles, according to Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, as per the Times of Israel. Video footage shows the ship's bridge heavily damaged, with oil leaking from the vessel. In an intercepted radio exchange, the ship's captain is heard refusing Houthi orders to stop, insisting the vessel was travelling through international waters. Shortly after, explosions rocked the vessel. The ship took on water from holes along its waterline before sinking beneath the oceanic waves, with the fighters heard chanting: 'God is the greatest; death to America; death to Israel; curse the Jews; victory to Islam.' Over 25 people were onboard the vessel, when the attack took place. Ten have been rescued, including four survivors, who were pulled from the sea today, while four others — three Filipinos and one Russian — were killed. A wounded crew member reportedly lost his leg, according to Operation Aspides, the EU's naval mission in the region. The Iran-backed militia claim to have taken some survivors to a 'safe location", which US officials have condemned as kidnapping. This marks the second Houthi attack on commercial shipping this week. On July 6, the militia struck and sank the 'Magic Seas', another Liberian-flagged, Greek-operated cargo ship. Footage released by the group shows masked fighters storming the vessel and detonating explosives. All 22 crew members were safely rescued. Both ships had connections to Israel through past port calls, though neither was Israeli-owned. The Houthis said the attacks were carried out as part of its retributions for Israel's war in Gaza, and stated that all vessels linked to Israel or its allies are legitimate targets. 'The naval force of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the ship Eternity C… in support of Palestinians in Gaza,' Saree said. Since November 2023, the Houthis have launched more than 100 attacks on merchant vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, primarily with drones and missiles. The campaign briefly paused in late 2024 during a ceasefire in Gaza, but resumed following renewed fighting in 2025 and the recent US airstrikes on Iranian targets. At early morning today, the Houthis also claimed to have launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, which was intercepted by Israeli defences. The incident triggered air raid sirens across central Israel. US officials have warned the rebels against further disruption of maritime security. 'These attacks demonstrate the ongoing threat that Iran-backed Houthi rebels pose to freedom of navigation,' said the US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce. 'We will continue to take necessary action to protect commercial shipping from Houthi terrorist attacks.' UNI ANV RN
