Bomb threat at Hyderabad's Begumpet Airport sparks major security search

The airline acted on advice from a bomb threat assessment committee and prioritised passenger safety by diverting the flight as a precautionary measure. Passengers were accommodated in Frankfurt and continued their journey the following day.
Similarly, on June 17, an IndiGo flight 6E 2706 flying from Muscat to Delhi with a stopover at Kochi was compelled to make an emergency landing at Nagpur following a bomb threat. All passengers were safely deboarded, and investigations into the threat are underway.

Bomb scare on IndiGo flight from Kochi to Delhi, makes emergency landing
A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight from Kochi was diverted to Nagpur in Maharashtra after it received a bomb threat, news agency PTI reported. The bomb squad reached the spot after a threat was issued to blow up the flight. The flight had arrived in Kochi from Muscat and departed for Delhi. Subsequently, a Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was formed and declared the threat as 'specific', CIAL added. "After completing the security checks, the aircraft will proceed to Delhi," it said. According to a statement from DCP Nagpur, Lohit Matani, the passengers were safely deboarded and an investigation is underway. He further added that nothing suspicious had been found so far, ANI reported.
