St Lawrence, ex-Ciaron Maher, has won eight of 23 starts and a tick under $1m prizemoney.
The rising seven-year-old was last February purchased for $85,000 and transferred to Bedggood by passionate racehorse owner-breeder Paul Lofitis, of the Lofty Group.
St Lawrence has tuned up with an impressive two-length 1300m Seymour trial win last Wednesday.

'He might run in The David Bourke or we might wait for an Open 1400m the following Saturday,' Bedggood said.
'We bought him online … he was a good get.
'He'll head towards the Winter Championship hopefully.'

Bedggood also has new arrival, Casino Seventeen, 2024 Group 2 Perth Cup (2400m) winner, set for a Victorian debut in The David Bourke (1600m).
Former West Australian Casino Seventeen, previously trained by Grant and Alana Williams, last raced on New Year's Day when fifth in a bid to defend the Perth Cup title.

• Littlefield eyes Royal Ascot-Glorious Goodwood dream
Bedggood confirmed Sandown Cup winner Diwali would contest the 2500m race at Headquarters on Saturday, a bridging run to the Flemington Cup (2800m) on July 19.
The astute trainer conceded Diwali would need to go 'to another level' again after rising sharply in rating.
Diwali received a 20-point boost – he now has an 86 benchmark rating – for the Sandown Cup win.
'He's only four and a very sound horse so hopefully he can keep on his upward trajectory,' Bedggood said.
'Our next run or two will tell us, it has to, because his rating jumped up 20 points from that win so he's got to go to another level now too.'
• 'He was a legend': Bedggood, Bates dedicate Sandown win to Laing
The lightly-raced stayer has thrived with Bedggood, going from a Benchmark 58 win at Moe to Listed Sandown Cup in four starts.
He placed second on debut for the stable in April in a Benchmark 64.
'He was very good at his first run for me and that horse (winner Fernao) has gone on to run third in the Andrew Ramsden,' Bedggood said.
'We took him to Moe to get a win because his rating allowed us to … he was ridden too close here (Sandown) the (third) start (for stable) and ran a good second.
'We were rapt with his run a fortnight ago, so he should be competitive again.'

Stable favourite Olympic Korchnoi will run in Cairns Amateur Cup for trainers Trevor and Peter Rowe
If there is ever a reboot of the classic family film Black Beauty scheduled to be filmed in north Queensland, the Trevor and Peter Rowe -trained gelding Olympic Korchnoi would pass the audition with flying colours. The Brazil-born galloper looks majestic, with his striking black coat and his playful manners making him a stable favourite for the Cairns father-and-son trainers and their staff. Olympic Korchnoi will be hunting his third victory from his past four races when he runs in the $40,000 Cairns Amateur Cup (1900m) at Cannon Park on Saturday. 'He's one of the favourites of our stable, everyone loves him. He's beautiful to look at,' Peter Rowe said about the eight-year-old with six wins from 46 races. 'He's pitch-black, there's not a speck of white on him. When he's in the yard and he looks his best, he's very eye-catching and draws a lot of attention. 'If the kid's character Black Beauty was put into a real-life horse then that's what he is.' • Zouperb ready to fire despite wasted trip to Sydney Rowe said the gelding also had 'plenty of character' and had endeared himself to the stable's staff with his friendly nature. 'You walk into the barn and he'll lay his ears back and look like a bit of a dragon,' the trainer said. 'He's just playful. You know he's not going to bite you or do anything like that, he just likes to put on a show for everyone.' The ownership group for Olympic Korchnoi consists of Peter Rowe, his partner Adrian, mum Helen and Cliff Little, who became an overnight millionaire in 2019 when he won the entire $40m Powerball jackpot. 'It's his 70th birthday at the end of the month so we're hoping to get a big win for him,' Rowe said about Little. There's one other reason why Olympic Korchnoi is special to the Rowes - his win in the 2023 Gordonvale Cup ticked off a lifetime dream for Trevor. • Munce duo target Melbourne spring with promising pair 'Dad had wanted to win that race since he was a kid so it was a special moment,' Peter said. Olympic Korchnoi has a fascinating history, starting his career in South America where he finished runner-up in the Group 1 Brazil Derby in 2021. He then went to Hong Kong but never made it to the races before finding a home at Cranbourne trainer Phillip Stokes' stables for a brief period in 2023. The black beauty was then transferred to Sunshine Coast trainer James Moore but only had the one race before the Rowes picked him up for just $1500. Mature-age apprentice jockey Lauren Guernier will ride Olympic Korchnoi in the Cairns Amateur Cup after being onboard for his past two wins in Cairns and Mareeba. 'He's a funny old horse and he has to be ridden a certain way,' Rowe said. 'His best form is when he's up on-speed which can be tricky if he's slow out of the gates. 'If you try to ride a pretty race on him or take the sit then he just loses interest. 'The best thing about him is that when he's in front he's tough so we can put the pedal down a fair way out and he'll keep grinding away. He doesn't really have a sprint. 'When he's in front and you can gradually increase the tempo on him, that's when he races best.'

Maggie Collett will pilot her first runner as dual-license holder at Morphettville Parks on Saturday
Maggie Collett is tackling life as a senior jockey head on, as she prepares to pilot her first runner as a dual-license holder at Morphettville Parks on Saturday. Collett, 27, finished her apprenticeship in July, before nailing her first winner as a senior hoop aboard Liselle's Luck at Murray Bridge earlier this month. After 139 winners across 5½ years, Collett will open another chapter in her career on Saturday, when she steers Just Like Lisa in a Benchmark 72 (1250m) – her first runner as a trainer under a new dual license. It may be a new look on an official front, but Collett has had plenty of influence on the eight-year-old mare's career thus far, steering her to four of seven wins under trainer Justin Pickering, Collett's partner. 'I've kind of always had it in the back of my mind that at the end of my time I wanted to pursue training,' Collett, who has four rides at Morphettville on Saturday, said. 'I've got a big farm here and I've always had a lot to say with 'Pickles' (Pickering), we kind of mutually agree on most things, it is just kind of a natural progression with me to take out my dual license.' Just Like Lisa rattles home to win the last for Justin Pickering 🚂 — (@Racing) January 27, 2024 Collett notched 28 winners across the 2024-25 season, following a strong '23-24 that saw her score 43 winners at a 10.2 per cent strike rate. Life in the saddle isn't set to slow down either, Collett is eager to kick on as a fully fledged jockey, joining fellow dual-license holders Jessica Tzaferis and Stephanie Lacy in the training ranks. 'I'm really enjoying riding at the moment, whether that be in town or Port Augusta, I'm really enjoying it and I want to keep riding,' she said. 'It's business as normal, I'm still planning on riding for as long as I want, once I finish that I'll probably go into partnership with Pickles, in the meantime, I'm still really keen to keep riding. 'At the moment I've just got Just Like Lisa, next month I'll have one more and I might have three altogether, but I'll probably only have two in work. 'I want to focus on my riding and muck around with one or two in work and see how that goes.' A daughter of Choisir, Just Like Lisa has earnt $262,000 across 50 starts, and resumes on Saturday's nine-race card after a freshen up. The mare is currently a $61 chance with Sportsbet. 'I'm really excited leading into Saturday, there's not really much pressure on her,' Collett said. 'They are probably going to be too sharp over 1200m for her but she needs to have a run, she's feeling really well, I've got a plan in mind going forward. 'There's no pressure, she's drawn really well, I'm just excited to have a runner there.'
