In a past interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Tanushree recalled feeling disrespected and uncomfortable on set. She spoke about being shouted at on set for being just a few minutes late. She found it unfair and harsh, especially when the crew was not ready most of the time. 'Ek din, jab main set par paanch minute der se pahunchi, to usne mujh par chillaya aur mujhe unprofessional kaha.
Kabhi kabhi main set pe aati thi, jab lights bhi nahi lagi hoti thi…' she said.

Tanushree also spoke about the discomfort she felt while shooting in revealing outfits. She said she wasn't allowed to cover up, even when she was not facing the camera.
'Artists are supposed to rest in the van when they're not shooting. Especially if you've given me clothes like these—short clothes and so on. Even when I sat in a robe, he would say, 'No, there's a shot coming up, so take it off.'
Woh short skirt mein mujhe poori unit ke saamne bitha ke rakhta tha,' she said.
She explained that actors usually rest between shots, especially when dressed in short or revealing clothes. But in her case, she claimed she wasn't allowed that basic comfort.
