Kaizer Chiefs to replace two players

Kaizer Chiefs will take on Sekhukhune United without two key players.
According to the Premier Soccer League (PSL), Amakhosi will be on the road this coming weekend. The Glamour Boys will face Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Kick off will be at 15:00.
Additionally, the PSL has also confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs left-back Bradley Cross will miss the game due to a red card, while Iniaco Miguel will be out after earning a fourth yellow card in the Nedbank Cup final.
Kaizer Chiefs are unlikely to secure Pyramids FC striker Fiston Mayele. There is an alternative. The name is Michael Olunga at Al-Duhail in Qatar.
'They are looking at different options and Michael (Olunga) is back on Chiefs' radar,' an insider told Soccer Laduma. 'They are not giving up on him.
'The thing is they will be playing in Africa next season and they are believed to be looking at experienced strikers who could win them games at that level and Olunga is one of them and that's why they are not giving up on him.
'It seems there are few challenges with getting Mayele on board.
A second insider at Kaizer Chiefs added: 'It's believed that Pyramids are already planning on extending his contract and then there is interest from other Egyptian teams which makes it hard for the club to meet the asking price. Apparently, as much as they still want him, they are looking at other alternatives, and Michael Olunga is on top of that list of strikers if they can't get Mayele,' the source concluded.

Sipho Mbule's agent confirms offer to Kaizer Chiefs

Sipho Mbule's name is once again making headlines, this time as his agent, Mike Makaab, confirms that the 27-year-old midfielder has officially been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. Speaking on X (formerly Twitter), Makaab reversed an earlier stance taken in a FARPost article, where he had dismissed reports linking Mbule with a surprise move to Naturena ahead of the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season. In a sharp clarification, Makaab stated: 'Let me set the record straight. Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club(Kaizer Chiefs) to make the decision and we need to respect that decision.' Mbule's time at Mamelodi Sundowns has come to a premature end. Although his contract technically runs until 30 June 2025, the club decided not to activate a two-year extension clause. According to reports, ongoing concerns about his conduct away from the pitch influenced that decision. Signed in 2022 from SuperSport United, Mbule was once seen as a marquee acquisition for the Brazilians. However, his performances never quite lived up to the hype during his underwhelming stint at Chloorkop. In a bid to rediscover his form, Mbule joined Sekhukhune United on a season-long loan. Under coach Lehlohonolo Seema, he showed early promise, scoring twice and assisting three times in 17 appearances across all competitions. But his return to form was short-lived. Reports emerged that Mbule arrived at training under the influence of alcohol, reigniting the same concerns that plagued his time at Sundowns. Mbule's exit has sparked widespread discussion on social media and among Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Some fans see him as a creative spark the club desperately needs, while others warn that his off-field track record makes him too much of a gamble. Now, with his agent confirming that the ball is in Chiefs' court, the club faces a pivotal decision. Will Kaizer Chiefs take a chance on Sipho Mbule?
