Male escort breaks silence on 'Diddy' ‘freak offs' and defends Cassie
One of the male escorts who had sex with Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend of 11 years, Cassie Ventura, has broken his silence after being named in court
A former male escort, once hired for Sean 'Diddy' Combs' infamous "Freak Off" gatherings, has finally spoken out after his photo surfaced during the music tycoon's federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
According to the prosecution, Shawn Dearing, 37, was one of over ten men that Combs, 55, allegedly coerced his ex-girlfriend Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura into sleeping with during their almost 11-year stint as a couple.
These claims came to light last month as the escorts' identities were disclosed through court testimony and documentation provided by the prosecution during the ongoing trial.
In a new interview, Dearing shared a moving message for Ventura as he admitted he was booked by Combs for sexual sessions at either a hotel in Beverly Hills or a condo in Los Angeles he believes belonged to Cassie. The former escort says "was only me, him, and her" during the sessions, but he never had intercourse with Combs.
Reflecting on Ventura, who recently gave birth to her third child, Dearing expressed: "She was so uplifting - the kindest and most respectful person," also remarking on her authenticity, "She was genuine throughout the whole experience."
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Dearing stated he was speaking out now due to his identity being made public due to the trial and wanting to give "some credence" to Ventura's story. He previously had no desire to comment on the allegations, saying that he 'does not seek attention.'
Discussing Ventura with the American publication, Dearing says: 'You got me tearing up! I want what's best for her, honestly, because she … she's a badass lady, man. She's awesome. So I want her respect first and foremost.'
He continues to share that he was hired by Combs for 'more than a dozen sessions and the embattled rapper never touched him during the bookings.
Dearing admits he didn't witness any physical abuse from Combs towards Ventura during his time with the former couple but did spot signs of what he believed to be "psychological abuse' - claiming the mum-of-three's "kindness" was being exploited and she was 'there under [Combs'] control.'
Cassie, who was 22 during the first year of her relationship with Combs, testified in New York City last month while heavily pregnant. The Me&U hitmaker told the court how 'freaks off' became so frequent - and required recovery time - that they became like a job to her.
Combs' trial is now in its fourth week. He was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has entered a plea of not guilty on all charges.
In March last year, Homeland Security agents in the US said they had raided Combs's homes in Los Angeles and Miami, and he was arrested in New York in September.
Prosecutors claim the Bad Boy Records founder coerced and abused women for two decades, using his 'power and prestige' as a music star to silence victims.
His lawyers argue that his relationships with former long-term girlfriends are being mischaracterised and they were always consensual.

Bella and Gigi Hadid's mum ends engagement after ex's secret daughter discovery
Yolanda Hadid has reportedly called time on her six year relationship with Joseph Jingoli after previously gushing over him and revealing they secretly got engaged in 2022 Gigi and Bella Hadid's mum has called off her engagement from long-term partner Joseph Jingoli. Yolanda Hadid, 61, and her now ex-fiance had been engaged for six years before deciding to end things. The decision comes after it was revealed her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, had secret fathered another daughter. It was revealed the supermodel siblings also had a 23-year-old half-sister and had been getting to know her over the last two years. The secret child, called Aydan, had been socialising with the family. Sisters Gigi, 30, and Bella, 28, went on to call her a "cherished," "unexpected" and "beautiful addition to our family". Gigi and Bella's parents, Yolanda and Mohamed had been married between 1994 and 2000. As well as their daughters, they also welcomed son Anwar, 25. Following their relationship, Yolanda tied the knot again in 2011. She married music producer David Foster, but their time was also cut short, with the pair going the separate ways in 2017. Despite he latest relationship ending, she is said to have remained friends with Joseph. An insider told People the duo "remain friends and have nothing but fond memories of their time together". In 2020, she had gushed over the thought of tying the knot again. In a social media post marking their anniversary, she said at the time: "'All my life I prayed for someone like you!!" She went on: "Thank you for being such a bright light in my life, the calm in my storm and for being the most honorable man that I 2 year anniversary Joey Jingoli, I love and appreciate you." Last summer, Yalonda - who has appeared on shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - confessed Joseph popped the question to her in 2022. After keeping the proposal under wraps, she finally admitted Joseph asked for her hand in marriage during a loved-up trip to Holland. The pair had met in 2017 when Yolanda moved to Pennsylvania. The proposal was let slip during an unexpected interview with Architectural Digest who referred to her now ex as her long-term "fiancé". She often featured her daughters Bella and Gigi in episodes of the Real Housewives and in an interview with Vogue, Bella revealed that she felt pressured to alter her appearance due to the early onset of fame and living in her sister's shadow. Bella, who transitioned from reality TV to modelling, confessed that she had a nose job when she was just 14 and now regrets the decision. The revelation led fans to criticised Yolanda, accusing her of failing as a parent.

Something sinister about the delay in revealing Edinburgh's bridge of sighs
What's underneath the tarpaulin on the North Bridge? asks Susan Morrison For a few years now I've enjoyed playing 'Find the Number Seven Bus Stop up the Bridges'. It wanders about, depending on the No-Way-North/South-is-Shut status of North Bridge. Sign up to our daily newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! Sometimes it lurks on Chambers Street, which is quite nice because there's a heating vent that blasts out warm air on wintery nights. Very cosy. North Bridge may not be over the Kwai, but it is over budget, and the work has lasted way longer than expected. Of course it has. Did anyone in their right mind really think it would stick to plan? Check out the parliament, the trams and the ferries. Their original costs rocketed faster than the price of an Easyjet ticket. It's all bargain basement until you want mad luxuries like allocated seats and three extra pairs of pants in your bag. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Well, it will be lovely when it is finished, but I can't rid myself of a niggling doubt. I'm starting to suspect a replacement bridge lurks under all that flapping tarpaulin, and when the wrapping is taken away, we'll be faced with the sort of concrete horror that graces Glenrothes. The word 'graces' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. I think they've sold the original, just like London Bridge, to some deranged desert-dwelling American tech bro. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of moneyed mad lads. Look at that Musk one. He bought a president. He seems to be regretting it now, though. Perhaps they've cloned it. Mr Trump claimed that Mr Biden's been cloned, so if he thinks they can clone a president, they can clone a bridge. Although I'm surprised that the sinister forces that switched to Robot Biden didn't replace him with something snappier and less likely to glitch during debates. They should have asked us. We invented cloning in Scotland. A sheep was well within our capabilities, so banging out an identical bridge isn't a challenge too far. Well, we'll just have to put up with the exasperating bus stop bingo for a while longer, but I'm telling you, there's something sinister about the delay in revealing Edinburgh's bridge of sighs.

Can you guess the location of each album cover?
David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust cover was shot as monochrome and vividly coloured afterwards but it's of a real location can you guess the place and for the locations for seven other iconic album covers Fans were stunned when American pop-rock band Haim featured a photo of themselves on Portland Street near Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens on the front of their new single, Take Me Back. They are far from the only band to put a UK street firmly on the uber-cool place map by using it on a record cover. The Beatles did it, as did Oasis, The Clash, The Jam, The Streets and Madness - to name but a few - as this great gallery of album covers shows. Now it's time to put your musical and geographical knowledge to the test. Take a look at the album covers and the photographs and see if you can name that street! 1. Manchester's Oasis went down south to film the cover of this iconic album, which celebrates its 20th anniversary. The setting was a popular location for record shops in the 1990s. 2. The Jam's 1977 masterpiece This Is the Modern World shows Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler, lurking under an overpass. That same year The Clash refers to the same road in their song about a certain city burning. 3. And pigs might fly … according to Pink Floyd's 1977 Animals album cover. But where is the landmark, that has recently had a very impressive facelift? 4. David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust cover was shot as monochrome and vividly coloured afterwards. The K West sign that hung above a furrier in 1982 has now been removed, but it remains an iconic street for Bowie fans 5. In 1977, The Clash released their debut studio album with a cove true to the spirit of punk rock—in a bohemian area popular with rebels young and old and home to iconic music venues like The Roundhouse. 6. The Beatles made this zebra crossing famous worldwide when it was used on the cover of their1969 studio album. Fans still flock here to recreate the image, outside the recording home of the Merseyside beat. But where is it? Lamar's 2015 Pimp A Butterfly album cover was shot in atmospheric monochrome and features a large group of black men and children, plus a baby cradled by Lamar himself on this US lawn, belonging to possibly the world 's most famous house. 8. English rapper Mike Skinner from The Streets chose this building in East Anglia for his 2011 Computer and Blues album after playing a student gig here.
