Now, according to Sky Sports Germany, Man United are also in discussions with Sesko's representatives.
The report states the decision now lies between the Slovenian and his agents.
Bundesliga outfit Leipzig want £70million for the 22-year-old who has already made 41 appearances for Slovenia.
He signed from RB Salzburg in 2023 and has gone on to play 87 games for them, including in the Champions League.

Man United have already invested in new attacking players, bringing in Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for a combined £133.5million.
And former Red Devils defender Rio Ferdinand doesn't think Ruben Amorim and co should go for Sesko.
Newcastle are looking for potential replacements for striker Alexander Isak, who is understood to have told the Newcastle hierarchy that he wants to leave this summer.
He is currently absent from the club's pre-season tour, with the Magpies highlighting a "minor thigh injury".

Asked about Isak's links to Premier League champions Liverpool, his teammate Bruno Guimaraes said: "He is a top striker, his [record over the] last three seasons speaks by itself, he's a top player.
"But as far as I know he just stayed there because of his injury, his treatment with the club."
Last week, SunSport exclusively reported Isak had been offered a £32million-a-year deal from Saudi Arabia.
However, his heart is set on Liverpool.
Earlier this month, Newcastle knocked back the Reds' initial approach over a potential British-record £120million move.
SunSport understands he could now submit a transfer request to push for a switch to the Premier League champions.

Mikel Arteta slammed over Pedro Porro clash after Arsenal defeat to Spurs

Mikel Arteta has been criticised over his clash with Pedro Porro during Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham on Thursday. Spurs sealed their win in Hong Kong through Pape Matar Sarr's strike close to the halfway line on the stroke of half time after David Raya was caught off his line. Arteta, meanwhile, was involved in a brief spat with Porro on the touchline after the Arsenal manager had moved out of his technical area. Porro was attempting to but Arteta ignored the Spurs right-back and continued to shout instructions to his players on the pitch. The Spaniard then pushed Arteta and gestured for the Arsenal manager to stand inside his technical area before the fourth official stepped in to diffuse the situation. Footage of the incident went viral on social media and beIN Sports presenter, Richard Keys, who has repeatedly criticised Arteta's tendency to venture outside of his technical area during Premier League games, hit out at the Arsenal manager for his conduct. 'Well done Pedro Porro,' Keys posted on X. 'For how long have I been on Arteta's case? If his team is prepared properly and he trusts them there's no need for the nonsense on the touch line. Stay in your box man.' More Trending Despite his side's defeat to their north London rivals, Arteta believe Arsenal are 'ahead' in their preparations ahead of their Premier League opener against Manchester United on August 17. 'I'm very positive for everything that I've seen in the last 10 days, it gives me a lot of encouragement,' Arteta said. 'We are ahead of what I was expecting in many areas, even though tonight's result leaves you a taste that I think is going to be very positive as well, to realise the margins that winning or winning have to be controlled as well and again, we go again. 'We'll start on Monday again with two great games at the Emirates to finalise the preparations and be ready for Old Trafford.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. Benjamin Sesko: I'm copying Erling Haaland's career path and now set to join Man Utd… but team-mates think I'm BETTER

Just like Manchester City striker Haaland, Sesko came to prominence at Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg — where team-mates remarked he may be even better than the Norwegian icon — before moving to the Bundesliga. Now the 22-year-old could be heading to Manchester too, with City's arch-rivals United keen on signing the £70million-rated striker — along with Newcastle. The reasons Sesko has been compared to Haaland, 25, are obvious. Sesko is a powerhouse centre-forward, lightning quick, a bully in the air with a keen eye for goal. And at 6ft5, he stands an inch taller than his Salzburg predecessor. Sesko is now one of the most highly-rated young players in world football. But back then, his agent Elvis Basanovic was doing his best to make people aware of his talents, apparently messaging scouts and directors that his client was 'the next goal machine'. Arsenal showed serious interest before turning their attention to Viktor Gyokeres. The Gunners are believed to have seen £55million capture Gyokeres, 27, as ready for the here and now. Sesko is arguably more unproven, although his two seasons in Germany have showcased his frightening potential. Both Uniteds, Manchester and Newcastle, look ready to bring his talents to the Premier League. Old Trafford's director of recruitment is more than aware of Sesko's talents. Christopher Vivell worked as a scout for Salzburg between 2015 and 2020. And was then Leipzig's technical director for the following two years. Vivell was with the Austrians when a deal was struck in 2019 to sign Sesko. It was in Vivell's final year with Salzburg that a move for Sesko was agreed, although he had left Leipzig for Chelsea by the time the striker made the switch to Germany. Vivell, 38, once said: 'Sesko is among the game's top young talents and has enormous potential to become a top player. His abilities make him a special player with a special profile.'
